Claims (11)

1. Tragbares elektrostatisches Sprühgerät mit
(a) einer Sprühdose (24),
(b) einer der Sprühdose zu versprühende Flüssigkeit zuführenden Einrichtung;
(c) einer Niederspannungsquelle (42),
(d) einem von der Niederspannungsquelle so angetriebenen Hochspannungsgenerator (43), daß an seinem Ausgang gleichgerichtete Hochspannungsimpulse erzeugt werden können, und
(e) einem mit der Düse und der einen Seite des Generatorausgangs verbundenen Kondensator (71), der von den gleichgerichteten Hochspannungsimpulsen geladen werden kann, so daß die Düse auf einem ausreichend hohen Potential mit Bezug zur anderen Seite des Generatorausgangs gehalten werden kann, um eine elektrostatische Zerstäubung der Flüssigkeit an der Düse herbeizuführen,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Kondensator (71) einen unter

liegenden Wert hat, worin V die durchschnittlische Spannung-ausgedrückt in Kilo-Volt-ist, die der Generator an der Düse zu halten imstande ist, und daß der Kondensator durch die Kapazität zwischen einem die eine Seite des Generatorausgangs mit der Düse (24) verbindenden Leiter (34, 19) und einem an die andere Seite des Generatorausgangs angeschlossenen Leiter (39, 40) gebildet ist,
wobei der Generator (43) imstande ist, die Hochspannungsimpulse mit einer solchen Größe und Frequenz zu erzeugen, daß das Potential an der Düse auf einem ausreichenden Wert, um eine elektrostatische Zerstaübung der Flüssigkeit ohne eine Koronaentladung herbeizuführen, gehalten wird.
2. Gerät nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Kondensator (71) einen über,

liegenden Wert hat.
3. Gerät nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Kondensator (71) einen Wert zwischen 10 und 50 pF hat.
4. Gerät nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Generator (43) imstande ist, eine Spannung zwischen 10 und 25 kV an der Düse (24) aufrechtzuerhalten.
5. Gerät nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Hochspannungsimpulse in dem Generator (43) durch eine Diode (50) mit einem Ableitstrom von weniger als 1 uA bie 37 kV und 20°C gleichgerichtet werden.
6. Gerät nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Generator (43) einen Kondensator (69) enthält, der durch die Primärwicklung eines Aufwärtstransformators (47) über ein Triggerelement (70) zu entladen ist, wobei die Entladung des Kondensators (69) durch diese Primärwicklung Hochspannungsimpulse in der Sekundärwicklung des Transformators erzeugt.
7. Gerät nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Generator (43) die Hochspannungsimpulse mit einer Frequenz unter 50 Hz erzeugt.
8. Gerät nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß ein elektrische leitendes Bauteil benachbart zur Düse (24) und mit Abstand zu dieser angeordnet sowie mit der anderen Seite des Generatorausgangs verbunden ist und daß der Kondensator mit einem Wert unter

durch den die eine Seite des Generatorausgangs mit der Düse verbindenden Leiter (34,19) und den die andere Seite des Generatorausgangs mit dem elektrisch leitenden Bauteil verbindenden Leiter (39, 40) gebildet ist.
9. Gerät nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Einrichtung zur Zufuhr von Flüssigkeit zur Sprühdüse ein mechanisch betätigtes Ventil (21), das von einem entfernt von diesem angeordneten Auslösehebel (3) betätigt wird, umfaßt und daß der Kondensator mit einem Wert unter

durch den die eine Seite des Ausgangs des Generators (43) mit der Düse verbindenden Leiter (34, 19) und ein ein Teil der mechanischen Verbindung vom Auslösehebel zum Ventil bildendes elektrisch leitendes Bauteil (6), das an die andere Seite des Generatorausgangs angeschlossen ist, gebildet ist.
10. Gerät nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Einrichtung zu Zufuhr von Flüssigkeit zur Düse einen Druckbehälter (20) umfaßt und eine Vorrichtung (73) zur Überwachung der Umgebungstemperatur sowie zur Änderung der an die Düse in Abhängigkeit von der überwachten Temperatur gelegten Durchschnittsspannung, um die mittlere Tröpfchengröße der von der Düse versprühten Flüssigkeit in einem vorbestimmten Bereich zu halten vorgesehen ist.
