Abstract

Strombegrenzender Schalter mit mindestens zwei längli­ chen und seitlich neben- bzw. übereinander angeordneten Kontakten (2, 4), von welchen der eine Kontakt (4) drehbar ge­ lagert ist, an seinem einen Ende (dem Kontaktende) eine Schaltstelle mit dem anderen Kontakt bildet und an seinem an­ deren Ende (dem Wurzelende) mit einem flexiblen Stromleiter (7) versehen ist. Gemäß der Erfindung befindet sich die Lager­ stelle (5) des drehbaren Kontaktes (4) zwischen den beiden Enden des Kontaktes an einem beweglichen Arm (6) und ist derart angeordnet, daß der drehbare Kontakt bei einem Kurz­ schlußstrom unter der Wirkung elektrodynamischer Kräfte zu­ nächst in einer ersten Richtung unter Beibehaltung des galva­ nischen Kontaktes an der Schaltstelle (2a, 4a) gedreht wird, wobei eine solche Änderung der Lage des beweglichen Arms (6) verursacht wird, daß der Abstand zwischen der Lagerstelle (5) des Kontaktes (4) und dem Gegenkontakt (2) größer wird. Ferner ist ein erster Anschlag (17) vorhanden, der die Drehbe­ wegung des Kontaktes (4) in der ersten Drehrichtung be­ grenzt und eine Drehbewegung des Kontaktes in der entge­ gengesetzten Drehrichtung auslöst, die eine schlagartige Kon­ taktöffnung zur Folge hat.
