Description

The invention relates to a key switch arrangement for telephone sets according to the first part of claim 1.

Such push button switch arrangements with a printed circuit as a carrier of the fixed contacts and a switching mat as a carrier of the movable contacts are already known, e.g. from DE-A-3033134. The switch mat is made of rubber or a rubber-elastic plastic and is provided with domed curvatures that are assigned to the buttons. Inside the arch is the movable contact, which is brought into contact with the corresponding fixed contact on the printed circuit when a button is pressed.

In modern telephone sets, such key switch arrangements with switch mats are used to an increasing extent as a keypad. In the case of row and anteroom systems, it is also necessary to switch operating states, e.g. an additional lock switch is required to program features or block external line authorizations. This lock switch is a separate assembly which consists of a lock cylinder with a removable key, a cam which is rotatable about the cylinder axis and which interacts with contact springs, is connected to the lock cylinder. The parts are housed in a cylindrical plastic housing that can be screwed to the chassis of the telephone set or can be joined in a form-fitting manner (DE-U-7528008).

The invention has for its object to integrate the lock switch in the key switch arrangement. This problem is solved by the measures specified in the characterizing part of claim 1. Further training can be found in the subclaims. The design according to the invention achieves the advantage that a separate lock switch assembly is unnecessary. The space required for this and for the wiring can be used for other purposes. Construction and assembly of the telephone set are simpler and cheaper than with the conventional construction. Retrofitting is also easy to carry out since no soldering work is necessary. The wiring is already specified in the printed circuit.

  • Fig. 1 einen erfindungsgemässen Schlossschalter in neutraler Stellung zwischen zwei Schaltmatten-Domen, im Querschnitt;
  • Fig. 2 den gleichen Schlossschalter wie in Fig.1, jedoch in Betätigungsstellung über einem Dom der Schaltmatte;
The invention is described below using exemplary embodiments. The drawing shows:
  • Figure 1 shows a lock switch according to the invention in a neutral position between two safety mat domes, in cross section.
  • Figure 2 shows the same lock switch as in Figure 1, but in the operating position over a dome of the switch mat.
  • Fig. 3 shows another embodiment of the lock switch in the unactuated position over a dome of the switch mat and
  • Fig. 4 shows the lock switch of Fig. 3 in the actuated position.

Die Schaltmatte 5 besteht aus einem elastischen, gummiartigen Kunststoff.1 and 2, a switch mat 5 with dome-like arches (dome 6) is arranged above a printed circuit 4 with the fixed contacts 8 and conductor tracks. The printed circuit 4 is formed by a circuit board or a conductor foil. The switch mat 5 consists of an elastic, rubber-like plastic.

In the interior of the dome 6 of the switch mat 5, the movable contacts 7 are attached, which cooperate with the fixed contacts 8 of the printed circuit 4. When using the arrangement in a keypad for telephone sets, the domes are actuated by push buttons, which are located above them, but are not shown in the figures.

A lock switch 1 is arranged between the domes 6, the lock cylinder 2 of which has a rotatable switching cam 3 at the lower end. As usual, the lock cylinder and its switching cam are rotated by means of a key (not shown). In Fig. 1, the switching cam 3 is in a neutral central position between two domes 6 of the switching mat 5. As the double arrow indicates, it can be rotated about its axis on both sides. In Fig. 2 it is turned to the left and has depressed the left dome 6 so that its contact 7 comes into contact with the contact 8 of the printed circuit. The domes 6 assigned to the key switch are provided on the switch mat in addition to the key-operated domes.

As a rule, two are sufficient, but four domes can easily be attached around the locking cylinder in such a way that they can be actuated with its switching cam 3. If the lock switch 1 is not required at all, the lock cylinder is simply omitted and the opening in the control panel is closed by a blind plug (not shown). Conversely, the blind plug is replaced by a lock switch when retrofitting.

In the embodiment according to FIGS. 3 and 4, in contrast to the embodiment described above, the lock switch 1 is mounted coaxially over a dome 6 of the switch mat 5. So only one cathedral can be operated.

The switching cam 3 of the lock cylinder 2 consists here in a bevel of the lower end of the rotatable part of the lock switch. This switching cam 3 is opposed by the uniformly beveled end of a coaxially arranged pressure piece 9, which is only axially movable. If the switch cam 3 is now rotated from the position shown in FIG. 3 to that shown in FIG. 4, the pressure piece 9 is moved downwards against the dome 6 according to the incline of the cam and pressure piece, and this is pressed in so that contacts 7 and 8 touch. When the lock switch 1 is turned back, the pressure piece 9 returns to its starting position.
