  • U.S. Patent No. 4071963 discloses a sole unit for an article of footwear which sole unit has a sole portion and a heel portion and is moulded from a resilient material, a plurality of cavities formed in the upper surface of the sole portion and heel portion of the unit, a system of channels formed in the upper surface of the unit, which channels interconnect the cavities, and a bulge formed on the bottom surface of the sole unit at the location of each of said cavities.

Claims (10)

1. Sohleneinheit (13) für eine Fußbekleidung (10), welche Sohleneinheit aus einem Sohlenabschnitt und einem Fersenabschnitt besteht und die aus einem nachgiebigen Material gegossen ist, mit einer Mehrzahl von an der Oberseite des Sohlen- und des Fersenabschnittes der Einheit ausgebildeten Höhlungen (15) und mit einem an der Oberseite der Einheit ausgebildeten System von Rinnen (16), welche die Höhlungen verbinden, und mit einer Ausbeulung (17) an der Unterseite der Sohleneinheit an der Stelle, von jeder der Höhlungen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Höhlungen (15) im wesentlichen gänzlich in der allgemeinen Dicke der Sohleneinheit ausgebildet sind.
2. Sohleneinheit nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß jede der Höhlungen mit dem Rinnensystem über eine verengte Öffnung in Verbindung steht.
3. Sohleneinheit nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Querschnittsfläche der verengten Öffnung im wesentlichen ein Viertel der größten Querschnittsfläche der Höhlung beträgt.
4. Fußbekleidung (10) mit einem Oberteil (11), einer Sohleneinheit (13) mit welcher der Oberteil verbunden ist, und einer porösen Innensohle oder einem porösen Innenschuh (12), welche(r) die Oberseite der Sohleneinheit überdeckt und mit ihr verbunden ist, welche Sohleneinheit einen Sohlen- und einen Fersenabschnitt aufweist und aus einem nachgiebigen Material gegossen ist, sowie einer Mehrzahl von an der Oberseite des Sohlen-und Fersenabschnittes ausgebildeten Höhlungen (15), mit einem System von in der Einheit ausgebildeten Rinnen (16), welche die Höhlungen miteinander verbinden, und mit einer Ausbeulung (17), die auf der Unterseite der Sohleneinheit an der Stelle, von jeder der Höhlungen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Höhlungen (15) im wesentlichen gänzlich in der allgemeinen Dicke der Sohleneinheit ausgebildet sind.
5. Fußbekleidung nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß jede der Höhlungen (15) mit dem Rinnensystem über eine verengte Öffnung in Verbindung steht.
6. Fußbekleidung nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Querschnittsfläche der verengten Öffnung im wesentlichen ein Viertel der größten Querschnittsfläche der Höhlung beträgt.
7. Fußbekleidung nach einem der Ansprüche 4 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß eine Vielzahl an Höhlungen (15) vorgesehen ist und eine Konzentration an Höhlungen im Vorderteil und im Fersenbereich der Sohleneinheit vorhanden ist.
8. Fußbekleidung nach einem der Ansprüche 4 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß jede der Höhlungen (15) mindestens zwei an sie angeschlossene Rinnen (16) des Rinnensystems aufweist.
9. Fußbekleidung nach einem der Ansprüche 4 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der größte Durchmesser der Höhlungen (15) im Bereich von 8 bis 12 mm liegt.
10. Fußbekleidung nach einem der Ansprüche 4 bis 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Ausbeulungen (17) an der Unterseite der Sohleneinheit eine Höhe im Bereich von 6 bis 8 mm haben.
