Abstract

L'organe et le procédé de forage par hydrojet (10) de la présente invention comprennent la commande de l'avance d'un couteau à rotation automatique possédant des jets tangentiels à angle aigu. Ces jets à angle aigu et à vitesse élevée (112) permettent d'obtenir une pénétration plus profonde, accrue par des chocs successifs contre des formations rocheuses (fig. 5A). A 10.000 psi, ces pulsations amplifient la pénétration de la fente conique de sorte qu'elles dépassent celles de l'art antérieur pour certaines couches. L'avance latérale de jets de couteaux cisaillent la roche en la soumettant à un effort de traction. L'avance linéaire ou rotative du couteau provoque l'intersection de la fente conique, libérant les fragments non-soutenus. L'énergie dépensée par volume de matériau extrait est condidérablement réduite. Le dispositif et le procédé de forage à hydrojet (10) consiste à fournir un fluide filtré recyclable à un dispositif d'intensification de la pression situé au fond du puits, en cas de besoin. Un stabilisateur dynamique (14) commande l'avance et la direction de la tête de forage (12). Pendant le fonctionnement, la tête de forage (12) avec son couteau rotatif à jets multiples est balancée, tournée ou avancée linéairement lorsqu'elle se déplace en spirale ou par pas. Les débris déplacés rapidement sont évacués par un dispositif de l'art antérieur.
