Definitions
- the invention relates to a hair clipper with a blade held interchangeably in a housing, the cutting edge of which projects on one side beyond the edge of the housing, and with a comb-like row of teeth which bear against the blade and protrude beyond the cutting edge and which serve to vary the distance between the teeth Tooth tips from the cutting edge can be locked in different positions relative to the blade in order to change the cutting length.
- Fig. 1 is a perspective view of all
- FIG. 3 shows the device according to FIG. 2 in an advanced position of the part having the row of teeth
- Figure 4 shows the upper housing part from the inside, with the holding arm pivotally fastened on the inside and the razor blade head;
- Figure 7 shows the complete device in a view of the upper housing part.
- the hair clipper has a lower housing part 1 which has a firmly arranged row of teeth 2 with short teeth on one edge.
- the slightly recessed surface 3 adjoining the row of teeth 2 serves to receive a blade, not shown in the drawing.
- a small elevation 4 within the surface 3 serves to fix a blade cut out in accordance with this elevation.
- a ring-shaped bearing 5 is formed in the middle, which serves to receive a pivot pin (not shown in the drawing) on the underside of the eccentric rotary handle 6.
- the eccentric rotary handle 6 has on its underside a pin 7 arranged eccentrically to its axis of rotation.
- On the lower housing part 1 there is a plate 8 which has an edge at one edge. Row of teeth 9.
- the plate 8 has a slot 10 running transversely to the direction of movement of the plate, in which the pin 7 engages on the underside of the eccentric rotary handle 6.
- the transverse slot 10 is adjoined by a slot 11 which extends in the direction of movement and is open at the rear edge of the plate 8, so that the pin 7 can emerge from the slot there, around the plate 8 completely from the eccentric rotary handle 6 to separate.
- a compression spring 13 shown below the eccentric rotary handle 6 is inserted in the annular bearing 5, so that the rotary handle 6 with its toothed flange edge 14 is pressed upwards and against a toothed, annular part 15 on the inside of the upper housing part 16.
- the housing distributor 16 is the same size as the housing lower part 1 and is preferably connected to it by gluing or by another suitable means.
- the upper housing part 16 has an opening 17 through which the rotary handle 6 extends outwards so that it can be actuated.
- the upper housing part 16 has at one edge a fixed row of teeth 18 with short teeth which come to rest on the teeth of the row of teeth 9 on the plate 8, as can be seen from FIG. 7.
- the row of teeth 18 on the edge of the upper housing part which also consists of a one-piece plastic part, is arranged for aesthetic reasons, so that the teeth of the precisely overlapping rows of teeth 9 and 18 extend to the upper side of the housing and thus the separated hair can be easily removed and removed cannot fix on the edge of the upper housing part.
- FIGS. 4 and 5 on the inside of the upper housing part 16, the opposite edges are stepped and guide surfaces 19 are provided, on which the plate 8 with its opposite edges 20 is guided when the plate 8 is in front - and is moved back.
- FIGS. 4 and 5 also show the annular toothed portion 15 which closes the opening 17 in the upper housing part 16 u and which engages with the toothed flange edge 14 of the eccentric rotary handle 6.
- the lower housing part 1 Around the holding arm 20 with the razor blade head 26 arranged at the end from the housing formed by the lower housing part 1 and upper housing part 16, in which it is in the non-use position, as can be seen from FIG. 4, into the use position according to FIG 5 and 6, the lower housing part 1 has a correspondingly shaped opening 31 through which the holding arm 20 with the razor blade head 26 is pivoted outwards.
- the upper housing part 16 has a further opening 32, which serves to press the holding arm 20 outwards with a finger.
- 6 shows the view of the device from the rear with the holding arm 20 pivoted outward into the position of use and carrying the razor blade head 26.
- the arm is also open the lower housing part 1 held blade 33 for hair cutting recognizable, which protrudes slightly beyond the row of teeth 2 on the edge of the lower housing part 1.
- the view of the device from the front is shown in FIG. 7.

Abstract
The hair cutting apparatus has an exchangeable blade (33) arranged in a two-part housing (1, 16). This blade is placed between a row of fixed teeth (2) disposed at the edge of the lower part (1) of the housing and a row of teeth (9) movable in front or behind relative to the blade. An articulated support arm (20) carrying a shaving head (26) is fixed to the edge of the housing (1, 16) opposite to that which carries the blade (33). In the non-use position, this arm is placed in a housing (31) formed in the lower part (1) of the housing. It can be put into the use position by pivoting outwards. During use of the shaving head (26), the housing (1, 16) acts as a handle. Thus the device has two functions: it can be used as a razor as well as to cut hair.
