Abstract

With a flat screen, with electrons in an egg nem rear room (6) generated by selectively opened Holes of an electron matrix in a front space (5) smuggled and directed there to a phosphorus point the deflection system is designed as follows: The row and column parallel hole rows of the electrodes matrix are each deflected by two elongated electrodes (vertical deflection electrodes 16, 29 or Horizon talablenkelelektroden 17, 28) bordered, with between adjacent rows of holes each only a single elec trode is located. A three color screen is preferred executed as follows: the row conductors (11) sequentially keyed and remain two images each controlled for long periods; the column conductor (12) hold the associated during each picture line period Information signals, one after the other in color; the vertical deflection potentials are in time with the lines ladder advancement, however, by one picture line period ver pushed, switched; the horizontal deflection electrode (17, 28) are displayed at three times the frame rate controlled. The proposed deflection system can be rela It is easy to manufacture, is rollover-proof and requires no kei special contacting and switching effort. Main area of application: Highly informative displays, ins special color television screens.
