Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for closing bags of different sizes by a closing station, which is assigned with its tools to a continuous conveyor, which can be adjusted in the inclination to adjust the height to the different sizes of the bags and the open bags coming from a bagging station at intervals without free Case closed.
- Automation can be seen, at least from the point of view of the plant construction company, as a competition between material strength issues on the one hand and the speed of the movement sequences on the other. In the present case, however, only a part of the system elements can be directly influenced. Almost no influence can be exerted on the sack materials in the food and feed industry, for example, since these are essentially given by the market. A stronger paper quality almost inevitably results in additional expenses for the customer, since it is bulk goods, the savings through a further increase in automation is questionable. A white Another central problem in the automation of the bagging process is the middle of the bag itself.
- a sack In contrast to piece goods, such as boxes or finished goods, such as chocolates or car components, a sack, especially when filled, offers an outer shape and outer dimensions that are only constant within wide limits. Another problem is a certain disproportion between the system elements, which today mainly consist of steel, and the sack material, which can be paper, plastic or textile fabric.
- the sack material which can be paper, plastic or textile fabric.
- the invention was then given as a subtask, an improvement in the handling of the bags for the bagging and closing of the transport bags.
- the problem of closing bags of different heights is solved in that the continuous conveyor can usually raise and lower an endless conveyor belt around a pivot point on the delivery side or can be adapted to the different bag heights on the delivery side . In this way the free fall for the sack can be prevented at both transfer points.
- This solution has proven itself in practice. Compensation mechanisms and other sources of interference can also be prevented in this way.
- the solution according to the invention is characterized in that the movement of the closing tools is used harmoniously in synchronization with the movement of the sack or its opening area.
- the object has been achieved in that the individual phases of the closing operation are carried out in harmony with the conveying movement of the sacks on a continuously running conveyor belt.
- the spreading tools simultaneously perform a traveling movement with the movement of the bag opening area during the spreading movement. Just because of the first movement of the transport movement, the sack superimposed or. in addition to the second movement of the means for spreading the open, upper end of a freshly filled sack, the spreading movement itself can now be carried out much more slowly. Despite an increase in the overall speed, this leads to a much slower, more careful and therefore more gentle spreading movement of the end of the bag.
- the spreading tools move at the same speed and in synchronism as the open end of the bag during the spreading movement.
- the importance of this simple process according to the invention can be seen from the fact that the sack is only sewn as well as it is prepared for it.
- the spreading of the end of the bag, which is round or oval, into a corresponding long, flat shape for the sewing machine is the preparation stage for sewing and thus for the safe and orderly closing of the bag for all further manipulations, especially for the subsequent transport load. The same would apply in the case of gluing.
- a slow movement always has the advantage that it can be optically assessed and also corrected in practice. It is particularly advantageous furthermore, if the movement is carried out, for example, by pneumatically driven spreading tools.
- the pneumatic pressure can be set to a specific maximum pressure. So there is no need for a stop. Tolerances in the opening width of the sack play no role in the slow movement.
- the spreading tool always adapts.
- the idea of the invention can be applied particularly elegantly with the measure already applied by the applicant, in that the belt inclination is adjusted in such a way that variations in the bag size are compensated for by corresponding one-sided height adjustment of the belt receiving side, with a slight rotary movement about an axis in the area of the tape discharge.
- a further, particularly advantageous design idea in cooperation with the band inclination adjustment is that the closing station as a whole is analogous to the angle or Changing the bearing of the conveyor belt is set.
- the invention further relates to a system for bagging free-flowing products, in particular food and feed, with a bagging carousel, a conveyor section adjoining it, which is height-adjustable in the area of the bagging carousel, a spreading device assigned to the conveyor section and a folding device with a subsequent sewing or gluing station, characterized in that that the spreading station and / or the folding and sewing station are designed as movement or work processes harmonically assigned to the conveyor line.
- the present invention further relates to a device for the parallel juxtaposition of the sack walls at the upper, open end of filled sacks with a continuously driven conveyor path forming a conveying path, to which the sacks are staggered in time, and with two of one Spreader drive actuatable spreading fingers, which can be moved by drive means from above into the open end of the bag and upwards again after spreading.
- the spreading fingers mounted on a rod-like support element are moved in addition to the spreading movement on a closed path, so that during the spreading movement the spreading fingers run along an arcuate curve piece in the conveying direction of the conveying path.
- the moving movement is so short that the spreading movement must be carried out quickly when the sack to be closed, guided past the spreading device at a uniform speed on the conveying path. do not get caught on the spreading fingers and should be pulled into an inclined position.
- a diagonal fold would be applied to a sack standing diagonally on the conveyor line, which could lead to an incomplete closing seam, i.e. to a partially open sack.
- the rapid closing movement of the upper end of the sack which is necessary to avoid this disadvantage, causes a strong generation of dust, in particular if the pourable material is powdery products.
- the object of the present invention is to improve a device of the type mentioned in such a way that the upper end of the bag is closed with a low level of dust at a comparatively high conveying speed of the conveying section (which is necessary when the bagging carousel is very powerful).
- this object is achieved in that a support element is mounted so that it can be moved back and forth parallel to the conveyor line, that the spreading fingers are mounted on the support element with the expansion drive, and that the drive means are arranged further on the support element in order to move the spreading fingers up and down relative to the support element move that the expansion drive exerts a spreading movement when the support element moves in the conveying direction, and that the support element is driven at least approximately at the same speed as the conveying path when the spreading movement ends.
- the spreading movement can take place so slowly, even with today's increased conveying speed, that the dust development is very low even when powdered products sag.
- the support element on a conveyor stretch parallel guide back and forth is slidably mounted.
- This embodiment has the advantage that the traveling distance and thus the time available for the spreading movement can be selected.
- a bearing housing is articulated on the support element on an axis parallel to the guide, that the spreading fingers are mounted on the bearing housing by means of an expansion drive, and that the bearing housing is pivoted from a position of the spreading fingers that is essentially perpendicular to the conveying path a raised position is pivotable, in which the spreading fingers lie outside the conveying path of the sacks.
- the present invention relates to a system for bagging pourable products with a bagging carousel, a connected conveyor section, which is height-adjustable in the area of the bagging carousel, on which a spreading device that can be moved back and forth in the conveying direction of the conveyor section and a folding device with a subsequent sewing or gluing station is arranged.
- the present invention also has the object to improve a system of the type mentioned in such a way that the effective direction of the fold device is always oriented parallel to the conveyor track whose inclination is adjustable.
- this object is achieved in that the back and forth movement of the spreading device and the direction of action of the folding device can be aligned parallel to the conveying path.
- FIG. 1 and 2 show a system for bagging pourable products. They have a bagging carousel 1, from which the filled bags 2 are placed on a conveyor section 3 and from there in conveyor direction (arrow 4) can be transported away.
- the conveyor section 3 is designed as an endless conveyor belt that can be pivoted about the axis of rotation 5 of its deflecting roller of the outflow end.
- the deflection roller at the acceptance point is mounted with its axis of rotation 6 vertically adjustable in a bearing 7, which can be designed like a jack. Due to the height adjustability, the distance H of the conveyor section 3 to the bagging carousel 1 can be adapted to the height of the bags to be filled in such a way that the drop height of the bags can be kept constant and as small as possible.
- a column 9 is arranged on the conveyor section by means of a tripod 8, on which a casing 10 is mounted so as to be vertically displaceable and can be driven by means of a motor 11 and a trapezoidal thread which is not visible.
- the height of the jacket 10 can be adjusted along the column 9 by the motor 11.
- a commercially available sewing device 12 is attached to the jacket 10 and sews the passing bags at the upper end. Since the special design of such a sewing device has no influence on the present invention, its description is omitted.
- a folding device 13 with the folding strips 14 and 15 is fastened to the casing 10, the upper folding edge of the folding strip 14 determining the effective direction of the folding device 13, i.e. the folding line.
- the folding device 13 is, seen in the conveying direction 4 of the conveyor section 3, in front of the sewing device 12. Like the sewing device 12, it is a known unit and has no influence on the present invention with regard to its design.
- a support arm 22 is fastened to the vertical strut 19 of the frame 16, to which two locking strips 23 are articulated.
- the closing strips 23 are actuated by pneumatic cylinders 23 'and can be pivoted between the position drawn with solid lines on the one hand and the position shown in dash-dot lines on the other hand.
- FIG. 3 and 4 show the tripod 8 of the column 9 around a horizontal, for conveying Direction (arrow 4) of the conveyor section 3 transversely oriented axis 24 pivotally mounted and adjustable in height at 25 to the nut body 26 on a motor-driven spindle 27.
- a motor 28 By turning on a motor 28, the spindle 27 can be rotated and the inclination of the column 9 can be changed such that the direction of action of the folding device (angle of inclination of the folding edge of the folding strip 17 with respect to a horizontal plane) changes.
- the folding device 13 can thus always be set to a folding line parallel to the conveying path 3 if the angle of inclination of the conveying path is changed.
- a pivot axis 31 is arranged in the carriage 30 parallel to the longitudinal guides 17 and 18, to which a bearing housing 32 is articulated.
- a pneumatic cylinder-piston unit 34 is articulated on the carriage 30, the piston rod of which is articulated at 35 with the Bearing housing 32 is connected. If the piston rod of the cylinder-piston unit 34 is extended, the bearing housing 32 is ver up from the position shown with solid lines in which the downwardly bent ends of the spreading fingers 21 in a vertical plane into the position indicated by dash-dotted lines pivots. When the piston rod is retracted, the swivel movement is reversed downwards. -,
- Two swivel axes 36 and 37 are fixedly arranged in the slide 30, about which angle levers 38 and 39 are pivotably mounted.
- the mutually facing legs of the angle levers 38 and 39 are connected to one another by a joint member 40, whereas the ends of a pneumatic cylinder-piston unit are articulated on the other legs at 41 and 42, respectively.
- a suction pipe 45 is fastened to the bearing housing 32 by means of a pipe clamp 44, which ends over the downward-facing ends of the spreading fingers 21 and widens towards them in a funnel shape / hose 45 connected, the / not shown leads suction air source. Because the suction pipe 45 is firmly connected to the bearing housing 32, the dust extraction is always in the immediate vicinity of the spreading fingers 21 and thus, during a spreading process, directly above the upper end of the bag, ie at the location where the dust develops.
- a motor 47 (FIG. 2) is provided, which drives a spindle 49 (FIG. 5) via a gear 48, which runs parallel to the longitudinal guides 17 and 18 and in a threaded bore on the carriage 30 is stored.
- a gear 48 which runs parallel to the longitudinal guides 17 and 18 and in a threaded bore on the carriage 30 is stored.
- an endless chain can also be provided as the drive element.
- the carriage 30 is moved in the conveying direction of the conveying path (arrow 4, FIG. 1) or in the opposite direction.
- FIGS. 7, 9, 11 and 13 showing views of the spreading device shown in simplified form
- FIGS. 8, 10, 12 and 14 are plan views of the preceding figure.
- a sack 52 filled by the conveyor section 3 at a constant speed in the conveying direction (arrow 4) and open at the top reaches in 7 and 8 the spreading device.
- the cylinder-piston units 23 hold the closing strips 23 in their spread position so that the sack 52 can move between them without interference.
- the carriage 30 assumes its end position remote from the column 9, in which the piston rod of the cylinder-piston unit 34 extends and the bearing housing 32 is pivoted upwards with the spreading fingers 21.
- the piston rod of the cylinder-piston unit 43 is retracted so that the spreading fingers 21 assume the position adjacent to one another.
- the sack 52 actuates the sensor of a switch E 1, whereby the motor 37 and the cylinder piston units 34 and 43 are actuated, so that the carriage 30 moves at the same speed with the conveyor path 3 and the bearing housing 32 with the spreading fingers 21 is lowered and the spreading fingers 21 are moved apart to carry out the spreading movement.
- the ends of the spreading fingers 21 dip into the open end of the bag.
- the carriage 30 actuates a switch E 2, which activates the cylinder piston units 23 'for a closing movement.
- the closing strips 23 lie at the top of the sack against those in parallel by the spreading fingers 21 Sack walls held in alignment and form a narrow guide slot in which the upper end of the bag can slide forward with adjacent bag walls.
- the carriage 30 actuates the switch E 3 which actuates the cylinder piston unit 43 and moves the spreading fingers 21 against one another. He also activates the cylinder piston units 23 'and 34 in such a way that the closing strips 23 are spread and the spreading fingers with the bearing housing 32 are pivoted upward out of the bag 52.
- switch E 4 switches motor 47, which moves carriage 30 back against vertical strut 20, where it actuates switch E 4, which switches motor 47 off (FIGS. 7 and 8).

Abstract
The method is used to close filled bags (52) using an approximately horizontal conveyor line (3). The bags are fed on the conveyor line at a constant conveying speed to a spreading device (16 to 51) and then to a closing station (12, 13). So that the bag material is little used at high power, it is provided that a movement is superimposed on the spreading tools (21) of the spreading device during the spreading process in the conveying direction (4), which at the latest reaches the conveying speed at the end of the spreading process. As a result, the end of the sack is spread out without the sack being delayed by the spreading tools (21) which engage in it.
Description
The invention relates to a method for closing bags of different sizes by a closing station, which is assigned with its tools to a continuous conveyor, which can be adjusted in the inclination to adjust the height to the different sizes of the bags and the open bags coming from a bagging station at intervals without free Case closed.
Automation can be seen, at least from the point of view of the plant construction company, as a competition between material strength issues on the one hand and the speed of the movement sequences on the other.
In contrast to piece goods, such as boxes or finished goods, such as chocolates or car components, a sack, especially when filled, offers an outer shape and outer dimensions that are only constant within wide limits. Another problem is a certain disproportion between the system elements, which today mainly consist of steel, and the sack material, which can be paper, plastic or textile fabric. Anyone who has carried paper or plastic sacks with weights of 30 - 50 kg or more by hand already recognizes emotionally the problem of the relationship: weight of the sack and strength of the sack cover. It is also a fact of experience that with manual intervention in semi-automatic systems, sources of interference can be switched off almost effortlessly, by gently pushing the sack into position, better straightening up the sack, properly arranging the open end of a filled paper sack, etc. Every average person has this in this regard a sensor technology far superior to any technology. However, the semi-automatic filling of sacks is rejected by many, since it often involves considerable physical exertion, and this in one cycle, that of the machine is dictated. This is especially true if the bags are 50 kg or more. Here too, automation has a "natural" upper limit within the framework of the previously known solutions.
The invention was then given as a subtask, an improvement in the handling of the bags for the bagging and closing of the transport bags.
In a known solution of the prior art, the problem of closing bags of different heights is solved in that the continuous conveyor can usually raise and lower an endless conveyor belt around a pivot point on the delivery side or can be adapted to the different bag heights on the delivery side . In this way the free fall for the sack can be prevented at both transfer points. This solution has proven itself in practice. Compensation mechanisms and other sources of interference can also be prevented in this way.
It was therefore also one of the main tasks of the invention to close the bags properly and cleanly, for example to sew them clean, in solutions with continuously adjustable inclinable conveyors or conveyor belts, i.e. also without free fall of the bags or corresponding aids to avoid the same. The The solution according to the invention is characterized in that the movement of the closing tools is used harmoniously in synchronization with the movement of the sack or its opening area.
The object has been achieved in that the individual phases of the closing operation are carried out in harmony with the conveying movement of the sacks on a continuously running conveyor belt.
With the knowledge of the invention, the previous way of automating the bag closure can now be assessed as a faulty path. Up to certain limits, the so-called "speed trick" can be used to couple mutually contradicting movements, at least as long as one of the movements is sufficiently slow and the other movement is carried out sufficiently quickly. The logic included in this alone leads to a natural limit to the increase in speed.
The invention also allows various advantageous further configurations. In a particularly preferred solution, the spreading tools simultaneously perform a traveling movement with the movement of the bag opening area during the spreading movement.
It is particularly advantageous if, on average, the spreading tools move at the same speed and in synchronism as the open end of the bag during the spreading movement. The importance of this simple process according to the invention can be seen from the fact that the sack is only sewn as well as it is prepared for it. The spreading of the end of the bag, which is round or oval, into a corresponding long, flat shape for the sewing machine is the preparation stage for sewing and thus for the safe and orderly closing of the bag for all further manipulations, especially for the subsequent transport load. The same would apply in the case of gluing.
Das Spreizwerkzeug passt sich immer an.A slow movement always has the advantage that it can be optically assessed and also corrected in practice. It is particularly advantageous furthermore, if the movement is carried out, for example, by pneumatically driven spreading tools. The pneumatic pressure can be set to a specific maximum pressure. So there is no need for a stop. Tolerances in the opening width of the sack play no role in the slow movement. The spreading tool always adapts.
The idea of the invention can be applied particularly elegantly with the measure already applied by the applicant, in that the belt inclination is adjusted in such a way that variations in the bag size are compensated for by corresponding one-sided height adjustment of the belt receiving side, with a slight rotary movement about an axis in the area of the tape discharge.
A further, particularly advantageous design idea in cooperation with the band inclination adjustment is that the closing station as a whole is analogous to the angle or Changing the bearing of the conveyor belt is set.
Especially the letz g enannte idea which together with the above-mentioned, a particularly harmonic sequence, so that the entire operation actually harmonic and substantially trouble-free running. It will only be used in exceptional cases len manual intervention necessary. In spite of the possibility of increasing the operating performance, a much lower loss rate (defective sacks), a =. less human than ever. As will be shown in the following, no significant additional structural expenditure is necessary for the concrete implementation of the invention.
The invention further relates to a system for bagging free-flowing products, in particular food and feed, with a bagging carousel, a conveyor section adjoining it, which is height-adjustable in the area of the bagging carousel, a spreading device assigned to the conveyor section and a folding device with a subsequent sewing or gluing station, characterized in that that the spreading station and / or the folding and sewing station are designed as movement or work processes harmonically assigned to the conveyor line.
The present invention further relates to a device for the parallel juxtaposition of the sack walls at the upper, open end of filled sacks with a continuously driven conveyor path forming a conveying path, to which the sacks are staggered in time, and with two of one Spreader drive actuatable spreading fingers, which can be moved by drive means from above into the open end of the bag and upwards again after spreading.
In a known device of this type, the spreading fingers mounted on a rod-like support element are moved in addition to the spreading movement on a closed path, so that during the spreading movement the spreading fingers run along an arcuate curve piece in the conveying direction of the conveying path. In this known device, the moving movement is so short that the spreading movement must be carried out quickly when the sack to be closed, guided past the spreading device at a uniform speed on the conveying path. do not get caught on the spreading fingers and should be pulled into an inclined position. However, a diagonal fold would be applied to a sack standing diagonally on the conveyor line, which could lead to an incomplete closing seam, i.e. to a partially open sack. The rapid closing movement of the upper end of the sack, which is necessary to avoid this disadvantage, causes a strong generation of dust, in particular if the pourable material is powdery products.
The object of the present invention is to improve a device of the type mentioned in such a way that the upper end of the bag is closed with a low level of dust at a comparatively high conveying speed of the conveying section (which is necessary when the bagging carousel is very powerful).
According to the invention, this object is achieved in that a support element is mounted so that it can be moved back and forth parallel to the conveyor line, that the spreading fingers are mounted on the support element with the expansion drive, and that the drive means are arranged further on the support element in order to move the spreading fingers up and down relative to the support element move that the expansion drive exerts a spreading movement when the support element moves in the conveying direction, and that the support element is driven at least approximately at the same speed as the conveying path when the spreading movement ends.
With the invention, the spreading movement can take place so slowly, even with today's increased conveying speed, that the dust development is very low even when powdered products sag.
According to a preferred embodiment it is provided that the support element on a conveyor stretch parallel guide back and forth is slidably mounted. This embodiment has the advantage that the traveling distance and thus the time available for the spreading movement can be selected.
According to a further preferred embodiment, it is provided that a bearing housing is articulated on the support element on an axis parallel to the guide, that the spreading fingers are mounted on the bearing housing by means of an expansion drive, and that the bearing housing is pivoted from a position of the spreading fingers that is essentially perpendicular to the conveying path a raised position is pivotable, in which the spreading fingers lie outside the conveying path of the sacks. If a suction air line is attached to the bearing housing, which ends with a suction funnel directly above the spreading fingers and is directed against them, the small amount of dust that occurs when the bags are closed is also detected and extracted directly at the source, which means that any dust is generated even at the highest bagging speed is almost completely suppressed. Another advantage is that the dust captured and extracted at the source has no possibility of being deposited on the mechanical parts that actuate the spreading fingers, which eliminates the need for frequent cleaning of these parts today.
Furthermore, the present invention relates to a system for bagging pourable products with a bagging carousel, a connected conveyor section, which is height-adjustable in the area of the bagging carousel, on which a spreading device that can be moved back and forth in the conveying direction of the conveyor section and a folding device with a subsequent sewing or gluing station is arranged.
In order to be able to adapt the height of the conveying section in the bagging carousel to the depth of the bags to be filled in such systems, it is known to pivotally support the conveying section at its outflow end and to make it adjustable in height in the area of the bagging carousel at the infeed end. This system has the disadvantage that the conveying direction of the conveying path is not necessarily oriented parallel to the effective direction of the folding device. This can result in oblique closing folds and no closing seams parallel to the closing fold of the subsequent gluing or sewing station.
The present invention also has the object to improve a system of the type mentioned in such a way that the effective direction of the fold device is always oriented parallel to the conveyor track whose inclination is adjustable.
According to the invention, this object is achieved in that the back and forth movement of the spreading device and the direction of action of the folding device can be aligned parallel to the conveying path.

They have a
A commercially
Furthermore, a
Furthermore, a
- ,5 and 6, a
Two swivel axes 36 and 37 are fixedly arranged in the
As shown in FIG. 5, a
For the back and forth movement of the
Ebenso schaltet der Schalter E 4 den Motor 47 um, der den Schlitten 30 gegen die Vertikalstrebe 20 zurückbewegt, wo er den Schalter E 4 betätigt, der den Motor 47 abstellt (Fig. 7 und 8).The function of the system described for bagging pourable products such as flour and the like is explained below with reference to FIGS. 7 to 14, FIGS. 7, 9, 11 and 13 showing views of the spreading device shown in simplified form and FIGS. 8, 10, 12 and 14 are plan views of the preceding figure. The spreader is now ready to spread the top open end of the next incoming bag.
The upper end of the bag 62 leaving the closing strips 23 lies between the folding strips 14 and 15, so that it is folded down and folded. The upper end of the bag folded over in this way then passes through the
If the
