Description

The invention relates to a battery-operated hand-held vacuum cleaner that can be recharged via a charging base according to the preamble of patent claim 1.

Such devices are known CEP-A-0 008117 and available on the market. However, they have considerable disadvantages with regard to their handling - in particular when loosening and connecting the drive part from the dust container. However, loosening and connecting the drive part from the dust container is essential to clean the filter and the dust container.

In known products, the loosening and connection of the drive part and dust container is accomplished via the locking button, which is attached in a front intermediate piece of the device. It is disadvantageous here that the locking button is too far away from the switch button with which the device is switched on and off and which is advantageously located at the front end of the handle.

Another disadvantage of commercially available devices concerns their charging bases, which have specially stamped and spring-loaded contacts, which causes expensive and inefficient production.

It is an object of the present invention to avoid the disadvantages described above in a hand-held vacuum cleaner that is inexpensive to manufacture.

The invention solves the problem with the handheld vacuum cleaner according to claim 1. According to the invention, an ergonomically favorable positioning of the latching button is provided, namely in that the actuating device of the latching button is in the immediate vicinity of the switch button arranged on the handle part and that the charging base also has a contact the standard tubular rivets are used as contacts.

  • Fig. 10 is an impeller in full section.

On the front side, a drive part of the hand-held vacuum cleaner is closed by a clamping ring 43, which is formed in one piece with an air inlet 61, a labyrinth 62 and a retaining ring 63 with the latching lugs 55 for a filter ring 41 (FIGS. 1, 6, 7 and 8), and on which a latch 44 for dust container 25 is formed.

Two half-shells and 26 and 27 of the housing of the drive part end in one piece on their front side as resilient hooks 46 which engage and engage in an annular groove 47 with slots 64 of the clamping ring 43 (FIGS. 8 and 9).

The two half-shells 26 and 27 enclose with the clamping ring 43 the suction fan consisting of a fan wheel 10 and a motor 51, a circuit board 49 soldered to the motor with charging contacts 50, a switch 59 with a switch button 37 and a cell block 48 with connections and switch wires. Furthermore, a detent button 36 with a spring 58 is arranged between the half-shells 26 and 27.

A filter 42 made of a suitable, preferably washable, air-permeable filter material is attached to the filter ring 41. The filter ring 41 with the filter 42 is placed with an annular groove 65 on the retaining ring 63 of the clamping ring 43. When the clamping ring 41 is put on, only a slight pressure in the axial direction is required due to the design of the arc-shaped retaining ring 63 in order to snap the filter ring 41 in place. In this case, the retaining ring 43 can be arch-shaped as in FIG. 8 but also trapezoidal or triangular. The design of the clamping ring 43 and the filter ring 41 ensures that both rings can be snapped on easily. The same can be twisted to each other. The detents 55 always find the correct snap-in position, i.e. an associated snap-in opening 56 in the filter ring. When loosening, rotating the filter ring 41 is sufficient; the retaining ring 63 with the locking lugs 55 is pressed in the radial direction of the device center axis. The locking lugs 55 come out of engagement and an easy removal of the filter ring is possible.

The dust container 25 has a nozzle opening 66, which is closed by an elastic flap 67 that opens in the suction direction.

The dust container 25 is plugged onto the drive part and is held on the lower side by the detent 44 located on the clamping ring 43. The dust container is held on the upper side by the locking button 36, which engages with its locking hook 45 in a corresponding notch of the dust container 25 and is held in engagement by the spring 58. To remove the dust container 25, press the locking button 36 in the area of the spring 58, as a result of which the locking hook 45 disengages and the dust container can be removed.

This arrangement is characterized in that the locking button 36 is not mounted in a front intermediate piece, which corresponds to the clamping ring 43 of the vacuum cleaner described here, but is integrated in the drive part. The main advantage of this arrangement is that the locking button 36 immediately before Switch button 37 sits and can be reached with the same thumb of the hand that operates the switch button 37 without reaching around.

The charging base, which is shown in FIGS. 2, 3, 4 and 5, has a contact, in which instead of specially punched and spring-loaded contacts, two commercially available standard tubular rivets 29 are used as contacts, which are provided by a permanently elastic and electrically insulating Material 38 are held in a resilient position. The tubular rivets 29 are held in a loading mandrel 70 by corresponding cutouts in the loading mandrel 70, the securing against falling out being achieved at the top by retaining pins 68 and at the bottom by ribs 39 attached to a charging base cover 40. Strands 32 from a charging transformer 33 are soldered directly to the usual collar of the tubular rivets. In the event that the charging base is used as a wall bracket, 69 latching lugs 35 are attached to two holding projections in order to give the vacuum cleaner a secure hold.

The suction air passes through the filter 42 into the air inlet 61 and is sucked in by the impeller 10. Due to the curvature leading axially backwards on the nozzle wheel of the fan wheel cover 53, the air is already directed backwards from the fan wheel in the outflow direction 61 (FIG. 10). This avoids friction losses due to bypass curves in the fan housing, which should have a braking effect on the air flow.

By means of rings 71 formed concentrically in the clamping ring 43 and a ring 54 likewise concentrically attached to the impeller, the labyrinth 62 is created in cooperation, which restricts undesired slippage of the intake air and thus causes an increased suction pressure.
