Abstract

In the recording device there is at least one nozzle for writing which is arranged in a holder. If required, writing liquid from the nozzle can be applied to a recording medium arranged in front of the outlet opening of said nozzle. In order to avoid undesired leakage of writing liquid from the nozzle and to prevent the outlet opening of the nozzles becoming blocked by a layer of liquid and paper dust, provision is made for the side (6) of the nozzle holder (10), facing the recording medium (3), to be provided with a coating (15), the surface tension of which is lower than the surface tension of the writing liquid. <IMAGE>

  Mit Flüssigkeitströpfchen arbeitendes Schreibgerät Die Erfindung betrifft ein mit Flüssigkeitströpfchen arbeitendes Schreibgerät, wobei zum Schreiben mindestens eine in einem Träger angeordnete Düse vorhanden ist, aus der bei Bedarf Schreibflüssigkeit herausgestossen und auf einen vor der Austrittsöffnung der Düse angeordneten Aufzeichnungsträger aufgebracht wird.



  Ein solches Schreibgerät ist durch die DE-OS 25 27 647 bekannt. Bei Schreibgeräten dieser Art passiert es   hau-    fig, dass die   dem      Aufzeichnungsträger      zugewandte    Seite des Düsenträgers, insbesondere um die   Düsen    herum, durch Schreibflüssigkeit, die aus den Düsen heraussik- kert, benetzt wird. Dies hat den   Nachteil,    dass   Papier-    staub vom Aufzeichnungspapier auf der Oberfläche des Düsenträgers haftet und zusammen mit der Schreibflüssigkeit einen Belag bildet, der die Schreibfunktion verschlechtert. So kann z. B. der Belag einen Teil der Düsenmündung verstopfen,   so    dass die Richtung der herausgestossenen Tropfen   beeinflusst    wird.



  Um zu vermeiden, dass   Schreibflüssigkeit    aus den Düsen   heraussickert,    kann z.   3.    durch eine Saugvorrichtung in dem Schreibflüssigkeitssystem ein bestimmter Unterdruck erzeugt werden. Beim Ausschalten des Schreibgerätes   lässt    der Unterdruck jedoch nach, so dass wieder   Schreibflüssigkeit      heraussickern    kann.



  Eine weitere Möglichkeit, das Heraustropfen der Schreib   tst    1 TT  flüssigkeit aus den Düsen zu verhindern,ist, den Flüs   sigkeitsbehälter    im Verhältnis zum Düsenträger niedriger anzubringen, so dass ein Unterdruck im Flüssigkeitssystem erhalten wird. Beim Ausschalten des Gerätes wird die im System vorhandene Schreibflüssigkeit in den Behälter zurückgesaugt. Beim Einschalten des Gerätes ist eine gewisse Zeitverzögerung nicht zu vermeiden, da die Schreibflüssigkeit vom Behälter zu den Düsen transportiert werden muss, bevor geschrieben werden kann.



  Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein Schreibgerät der eingangs genannten Art zu schaffen, bei dem ein Heraussickern von Schreibflüssigkeit aus der Düse nicht erfolgt, so dass die   den    Aufzeichnungsträger zugewandte Seite des Düsenträgers trocken   bleibt    Diese Aufgabe ist   erfindungsgemäss    dadurch gelöst, dass die dem Aufzeichnungsträger zugewandte Seite des   Düsen    trägers mit einer Schicht versehen ist, deren Oberflächenspannung niedriger als die Oberflächenspannung der Schreibflüssigkeit ist. Die flüssigkeitsabstossende Schicht halt die   Schreibflüssigkeit    zurück, so dass sie nicht aus der Düse heraussickert.

  Ferner   bleibt    kein Papierstaub   am    Träger haften, so dass   nunmen    eine gut definierte Richtung der Tropfen und damit eine hohe Schreibqualität erreicht ist. Durch die erfindungs- gemässe Schicht braucht auch kein Unterdruck Im Flüs-   sigkeitssystem    erzeugt zu   erden.   



  In einer   Weiterbildung    der Erfindung wird   vorgeschla-    gen, dass die   Schicht    im   Bereich    der   Austrittsöffnung    der Düsen abgeschrägt ist.   Dadurch    ist erreicht, dass die Düsen mit Schreibflüssigkeit gefüllt sind, was nicht der Fall ist,   wenn    die Schicht bis in die Düse gelegt wird. Wenn die Düse nicht ganz mit Schreibflüs  sigkeit gefüllt ist, sinkt die   Schreibqualität    bzw. die Schrift kann ganz ausbleiben.



  Die Erfindung ist nachfolgend anhand eines in den Zeichnungen dargestellten Ausführungsbeispieles   näher    erläutert. Es zeigen: Fig. 1 einen Schnitt   durcn    einen   erfindungsgemässen       Düsenträger    gemäss Schnittlinie I-I von Fig. 4, Fig. 2 eine schematische Ansicht eines Schreibgerätes, Fig. 3 eine Seitenansicht eines als   Biegeschwinger    ar beitenden piezoelektrischen   Wandlers,    und Fig. 4 eine Draufsicht auf den   Düsenträger    nach Fig. 1 mit einer kammartig ausgebildeten piezoelektri schen Wandleranordnung.



  Aus Fig. 2 ist der   äussere    Prinzipaufbau eines   besann-    ten Schreibgerätes ersichtlich. Über die Transportrollen 1 und 2 wird der Aufzeichnungsträger 3, z: B. normales   Registrierpapier,    in Richtung des Pfeiles   ;    über einen Abstandhalter S an der Seite   6    des Gehäuses 7 vorbeigezogen. In das Gehäuse 7 ist die Anschlussleitung 8 geführt, die an ihrem freien Ende mit einem Stekker 9 zum Anschluss an ein nicht dargestelltes Steuergerät versehen ist, das die Steuersignale für   dle      Auf-    zeichnung der gewünschten Verläufe, Zeichen oder Bilder liefert.



  In Fig. 3 ist dargestellt, wie die Seite 6 parallel zum Aufzeichnungsträger angebracht ist. Die Seite 6 ist die Seite eines Trägers 10, der eine Anzahl in ei- ner Reihe nebeneinander angeordnete Düsen 11 aufweiset.



  Ausser der   Schreibflüssigkeit    sind im Gehäuse 7   Stäbe    oder Wandler 12 aus piezoelektrischem Material vorhanden, die derart kontaktiert und angeordnet sind, dass  sie bei entsprechender elektrischer Ansteuerung Schreib flüssigkeit in Form eines   Tröpfchens    aus der Düse   11    spritzen.



  In Fig. 4 ist dargestellt, dass die Wandler 12, die als Zähne eines Kammes ausgebildet sind, als Biegeschwinger arbeiten. Dabei ist der aus dem Wandler 12 und dem Kammrücken 13 bestehende Piezokamm parallel zur Ebene des Trägers 10 angeordnet. Der freie Endbereich der einzelnen Wandler 12 befindet sich vor den einzelnen Düsen 11 der Düsenreihe. Der Kammrücken 13 ist mit einem Befestigungsschraubsatz 14 auf dem die Düsenreihe aufnehmenden Träger 10 angeschraubt. Bei Anlegen von elektrischer Spannung an die Kontaktierungen eines Wandlers 12 bewegt sich dieser in die in Fig.



  3 gestrichelt dargestellte Position. Bei einer Unterbrechung der angelegten Spannung schnellt er zurück in die nicht gebogene, mit durchgezogenen Linien gezeichnete Stellung und drückt dabei ein   Tröpfchen    Schreibflüssigkeit durch die Düse 11.

 

  In Fig. 1 ist dargestellt, dass die Seite 6 mit einer Schicht 15 versehen ist, deren Oberflächenspannung nied   riger    als die Oberflächenspannung der   Schreibflüssig-    keit ist. Materiale dieser Art sind z. 3. Polyäthylen oder Polytetraflouräthylen. Die Schicht weist   elne    Stärke von   0,1 mbis    10 um vorzugsweise 1   um    auf. Die Schicht ist im Bereich 6 der Austrittsöffnung der Düsen 11 abgeschrägt, damit die Düsen 11 ganz mit   Schreibflüs-    sigkeit gefüllt werden.



  Wegen der niedrigeren Oberflächenspannung der Schicht 15 sickert keine   Schreibflüssigkeit    durch die Düsen 11, wodurch die Seite 6 trocken bleibt. 

Claims (6)

1. Mit Flüssigkeitströpfchen arbeitendes Schreibgerät, bei dem zum Schreiben mindestens eine in einem Träger angeordnete Düse vorhanden ist, aus der bei Bedarf Schreibflüssigkeit herausgestossen und auf einen vor der Austrittsöffnung der Düse angeordneten Aufzeichnungsträger aufgebracht wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die dem Aufzeichnungsträger (3) zugewandte Seite (6) des Düsenträgers (10) mit einer Schicht (15) versehen ist, deren Oberflächenspannung niedriger als die Oberflächenspannung der Schreibflüssigkeit ist. 1 operates with liquid droplets writing instrument in which at least one is arranged in a carrier nozzle is for writing any, is from the, if necessary pushed out writing fluid and applied to a arranged in front of the outlet opening of the nozzle recording medium, characterized in that the recording medium (3) -facing side (6) of the nozzle carrier (10) with a layer (15) is provided, whose surface tension is lower than the surface tension of the recording liquid.

4. Schreibgerät nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet , dass die Schicht (15) eine Stärke von 0,1 µm bis 10 µm, vorzugsweise 1 µm aufweist. 4. Verwendung eines mit FLUssigKeitströpfchen arbeitenden Schreibgerätes nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5 zur punktweisen Aufzeichnung analoger Verläufe oder alphanumerischer Zeichen sowie von Bildern, wobei zum Schreiben der einzelnen Punkte reihenweise in einem gemeinsamen Träger angeordnete Düsen vorhanden sind, vor deren Eintrittsöffnungen derart kontaktierte piezoelektrische Wandler angeordnet sind, dass bei elektrischen Spannungsänderungen an der Kontaktierung Schreibflüssigkeit aus der Düse herausgestossen und auf einen vor der Austrittsöffnung der Düsen angeordneten Aufzeichnungsträger aufgebracht wird. 6.
