Description

The invention relates to a barrel weapon according to the preamble of claim 1.

In the case of automatically moving opening and closing devices, it is necessary to carry out the wedge movement manually using a hand release lever before the first shot or in the event of faults. To open the locking wedge, the hand release lever must overcome not only the wedge weight and the frictional forces, but also the force of a spring, which is biased for the closing movement of the locking wedge. To overcome this, especially by the high forces to be applied by hand for the pretensioning of the spring, a manual opener is used to avoid long lever lengths and swivel ranges, as a ratchet working in a small swivel range together with an additional transmission gearbox, but with the disadvantages that a Loss of time arises due to the large number of strokes to be carried out and in order to be able to hold the locking wedge, an additional safety device is required, which must be switched off again after each complete opening of the locking wedge. This complex opening and closing device, which consists of a large number of individual parts, has the further disadvantage that a jamming closure can only be closed with a special tool.

Another hand release lever which triggers the locking wedge movement is known from US-A-3362292, which must open the locking wedge against the force of a torsion bar spring arranged in the opening shaft. This complex construction, which also consists of many individual parts, also has the disadvantage that the usable spring force is reduced or possibly canceled out by the internal friction losses, the torsion bar spring consisting of a plurality of stacked elements.

The object of the invention is to provide a simple construction in the construction consisting of a few parts for a barrel weapon of the type mentioned for the opening and closing movement of a breech wedge, in which the opening movement by hand in a small angle of rotation without overcoming a hand release lever Spring force is easy to carry out and after returning the hand opener lever to its rest position, the locking wedge can automatically take the locking position, and the hand opening lever should enable an automatic sequence of the locking wedge movements together with the device.

This object is achieved by the invention specified in the characterizing part of claim 1.

The invention enables a pre-tensionable piston-cylinder unit to be accommodated by means of a hollow body which is designed as a hollow body and is simple in construction, so that when the locking wedge is opened from the locking position during a direct pivoting movement of the hand opening lever about the opening shaft, no pretensioning force of the springs is required for the closing stroke of the locking wedge. Characterized in that the piston-cylinder unit necessary for the closing stroke is integrated within the hand opener lever, the springs in the piston-cylinder unit are preloaded when the hand opener lever is returned to its rest position, so that only the frictional forces have to be overcome for the opening of the locking wedge in addition to the wedge weight. The advantageous distribution of the spring pretensioning force on the return swing stroke of the hand opener lever allows for a favorable distribution of the low hand forces that arise during the opening and closing by opening the locking wedge during a single swing stroke in a small swivel range and still allows, with a space-saving simple arrangement consisting of a few parts, an uncomplicated, fully automatic operation of the opening and closing device of the locking wedge.

Advantageous refinements and developments of the invention emerge from the subclaims.

According to a special feature of the invention, the hand release lever is designed as a thin-walled tube having an oval cross-section and widening conically towards the lever attached to the opening shaft, the shape of which gives the hand release lever stability in addition to a spacious interior and a light design of everything, as well as represents a safety protection against the movable piston-cylinder unit arranged in the interior.

Through a contact surface arranged between the opening shaft bearing and the conical tube on the hand release lever, it is possible to move the opening shaft via a lever into the open locking wedge position, while this contact surface also serves to limit the pivoting back of the lever required for the closing stroke of the locking wedge.

According to a further special feature of the invention, a favorable position and swivel range adjustment during the expansion stroke of the piston-cylinder unit which can be swiveled via a lever around the opener shaft makes it possible to keep the torque which can be transmitted to the opener shaft constant in a region beyond half the swivel-back range of the lever . Due to the torque, which does not decrease, especially in the acceleration phase of the closing movement of the locking wedge, the locking wedge is moved faster into the locking position and the overall closing time is shortened as a result.

Furthermore, in the case of a stiff locking wedge, by actuating the hand opener lever and engaging a locking bolt, without spring forces of the piston-cylinder unit occurring, the locking wedge can be closed to take up the ready-to-fire position.

Ice on the bottom piece of the unlockable handle represents a secure fixation of the swiveling end of the hand opener lever, which is particularly advantageous during the automatic operation, a stable storage.

The invention is explained in more detail below on the basis of the preferred exemplary embodiment shown in the drawings, largely without details essential to the invention.

In Figure 1, a hand opener lever 1 is shown as a hollow body 2 rotatable about an opening shaft 5, the interior 3 of which receives a piston-cylinder unit 4. The piston-cylinder unit 4 is pivotally arranged with its cylinder 15 by means of fastening means 17 in the hollow body 2, while the end 18 of the piston 16 protruding from the piston-cylinder unit 4 of the piston 16, which is displaceable in its longitudinal axis, is pivotably connected by means of fastening means 17 to a lever 6 seated firmly on the opening shaft 5. Preloadable springs 7 are arranged within the piston-cylinder unit 4, which are relaxed during the assumption of the starting position 11 and pretensioned when the end position 8 is assumed. If the springs 7 are not tensioned, the lever 6 rests against a system designed as a stop surface 19 on the hand opener lever. Via the opening lever 10, the locking wedge 9 can be opened and closed during the changing rotational movement of the opening shaft 5. The lever 6 located in the opening 14 of the hand opener lever 1, pivoted about the axis 20 of the opener shaft 5 in the end position 8, can be swiveled up by the hand opener lever 1, which is unlocked by a displaceable handle 22 from its rest position 12 on the base piece 23 by means of an engaging locking bolt 21 be pivoted back into the starting position 11.

Figure 2 illustrates the arrangement of the thrust lever 24 on the opener shaft 5 mounted in the base piece 23, the representation of the bearing of the lever 6 and the manual opener lever 1 and the piston-cylinder unit 4 connected to the lever 6 by means of fastening means 17 with the opening shaft 5 a fixed connection incoming opening lever 10 a form fit.

Durch Herausbewegen des längsverschieblichen Griffes 22 ist dieser entriegelbar.FIG. 3 shows the locked position of the hand opener lever 1, in the handle 22 a positive connection with the locking fork 25 arranged on the base piece 23 is established. By moving the longitudinally displaceable handle 22, it can be unlocked.

With regard to the stability of the spatial freedom of movement and the weight, the hand release lever 1 designed as a 'hollow body 2' has assumed a cross-sectional profile of a tube 13 which corresponds to these parameters, as illustrated in FIG.

The mode of action is as follows:
  • The hand wire can be opened by pulling the handle 22 out of the locking fork 25 and then pivoting the hand opener lever 1 up. The lever 6 is pivoted through the stop surface 19 from the initial position 11, in which the locking wedge 9 is closed, into the end position 8, in which the locking wedge 9 assumes the open position. The locking wedge 9 is opened via the opening shaft 5 and the opening lever 10. Since the cylinder unit 4 and the lever 6 do not move against one another during the swiveling-up movement of the hand opener lever 1, the springs 7 remain untensioned. Only the weight of the locking wedge 9 and the friction affect the hand opening force. After reaching the end position 8, the locking wedge 9 is locked via a locking bolt, not shown, and thus the lever 6 is held in this position. When the hand opener lever 1 is pivoted back into its locked rest position 12, the closing springs 7 are tensioned by applying a low hand force corresponding to the opening process.

The closing movement of the locking wedge 9 takes place via the tensioned piston-cylinder unit 4, the lever 6 and the opening lever 10, and from the beginning, in a certain range of movement, an equally large torque acts on the opening lever 10 for the movement of the locking wedge 9.

The wedge 9 is opened automatically during the pipe advance. While the hand opener lever 1 remains locked in its rest position 12 on the base piece 23, the opening shaft 5 is rotated via the start lever 24 and the closing wedge 9 is opened by the transmission of the rotary movement to the opening lever 10 engaging in the locking wedge 9. By rotating the opening shaft 5 and moving the lever 6 from the initial position 11 into the end position 8, the springs 7 are pretensioned during the longitudinal movement of the piston 18.

Figure imgb0001
If a locking wedge 9 is difficult to close, or if it remains stuck between the end position 8 and the starting position 11 of the lever 6, the lock can still be closed by hand in that the The hand release lever 1 is unlocked by the handle 22 and swung up until the stop surface 19 abuts the lever 6, and a rigid connection of the hand release lever 1 with the lever 6 can be established by engaging the locking bolt 21. By pivoting the hand opener lever 1 into the rest position 12, the locking wedge 9 is closed via the opener shaft 5 and the opener lever 10. Because the lever 6 and the piston 16 do not change their position relative to one another during this movement process, no additional forces occur by the springs 7 when closing by hand.

(b) when the manual opening lever (1) is in the position of rest (12) springs (7) forming energy-saving elements inside the piston cylinder unit (4) can be pre-stressed in the axial direction, by pivoting the lever (6) into an end position (8) in which the breech wedge (9) is opened in a manner known due to the entrainment of an opening lever (10) the force of the said prestressing being such that the breech wedge (9) through the lever (6) is pivotable back into the initial position (11) under resilient force and can be moved into the locking position by the opening lever (10).
(c) the opening of the breech wedge (9) from the closed position being effected by a pivoting movement of the manual opening lever (1) about the opener shafts (5) the lever (6) being held in the terminal position (8) in an energy-saving manner and by hand, without thereby effecting any prestressing of the springs (7),
(d) by means of the manual opening lever (1) and during return to the idle position (12) in which the lever (6) with the breech wedge (9) in the open position, remains in the end position (8), the springs (7) are pre-stressable with only a limited exertion of force, as a result of which the lever (6) can pivot automatically into the initial position (11) so that the breech wedge (9) can assume a closed position.
2. Barrel weapon in accordance with Claim 1, characterised by the manual opening lever (1) comprising a hollow body (2) being constructed in the receiving zone of the piston cylinder unit (4) as a thin-walled tube (13) which has an oval cross section and which tapers towards the lever (6) and in which an opening (14) is provided in the pivoting zone of the lever (6).
3. Barrel weapon in accordance with any one of Claims 1 and 2, characterised by the fact that the manual opening lever (1) is provided with a permanent stop face (19) to enable same to come to rest against and entrain the lever (6).
4. Barrel weapon in accordance with any one of Claims 1 to 3 characterised by the fact that the stop face (19) is provided at the transition point from the hollow body (2) to the mounting on the opener shaft (5) inside the manual opening lever (1
5. Barrel weapon in accordance with any one of Claims 1 to 4, characterised by the pivoting zone of the lever (6) being fixed in such a way that starting from an end position (8) in a pivoting range continuing beyond half the return pivoting movement, a torque produced by the resilient force and transmitted to the opener shaft (5) remains constant or is not reduced.
6. Barrel weapon in accordance with any one of Claims 1 to 5, characterised by the force to be supplied by the manual opening lever (1) during a manual operation of opening the breech wedge (9) corresponding to the force to be generated in the return pivoting movement to the position of rest (12) for the purpose of prestressing the springs (7).
7. Barrel weapon in accordance with any one of Claims 1 to 6, characterized by the provision in the vicinity of the opening (14) on the manual opener lever (1) of a locking bolt (21) which can be engaged by the action of a breech wedge (9) which is difficult to move, and which can be moved into a position in readiness for firing, without additional forces occurring through the springs (7), when a manual opening lever (1) which has been pivoted to bear against the lever (6) is manually pivoted back into the position of rest (12).
8. Barrel weapon in accordance with any one of Claims 1 to 7, wherein the manual opening lever (1) in the position of rest (12) can be interlocked with and released from a base part (23) using a displaceable handle (22) and an interlocking fork (25).
