- the foremost chain link 3 "is larger than the other chain links.
- a chain link 3 is suspended in the double needle 2 in such a way that the double needle is guided from above and from the side over the one side bulge of the upper stitch 4 and one leg through the gap 7 between the stitches is passed through.
- the double needle comprises the constriction 6 of the chain link 3. From this position, the double needle 2 can be passed forward through the upper stitch 4 so that its two legs are laterally gripped by the stitch 4 and guided displaceably (FIG. 5). 5 is referred to as the suspended position of the chain link 3.
- a chain link 3 can assume the hooked-in position (FIG. 6) or the hooked-out position (FIG. 7) relative to the double needle 3, regardless of whether the adjacent chain links in the hooked-in position (FIG. 6 and 7) or in the unhooked position.
- the transition from the position according to FIGS. 6 and 7 is only possible if the chain link 3a preceding the chain link 3 in question is in the suspended position, specifically when the double needle according to FIG. 4 is completely retracted, and if further also possibly chain links in the front are in the unhooked position.
- the double needle 2 must first be inserted through the upper stitch of the last chain link 3 '(position shown in Fig. 5) and then pushed forward to the front chain link 3 "to solve the patience then the foremost chain link 3 "by means of the sequence of movements shown in FIGS. 3, 4 and 5 into the suspended state and can then do the same with the second chain link 3 by withdrawing the needle.
- the first chain link In order to be able to hang in the third chain link, the first chain link must first be brought into the unhooked state. In this way one can proceed step by step in order to finally reach a position in which all chain links are in the suspended position. After that you can.
- the puzzle can also. possibly reducing the number of chain links, so that it also serves as a key ring, belt or clothes buckle or brooch, in which case you will have to pay attention to the choice of particularly valuable and / or decorative material. Also, the play appeal as well as the decorative effect can be increased by the different colored design of the double needle and chain or the individual chain links.
Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a puzzle of ring-shaped wire elements with a double needle closed at both ends. wherein the wire elements can be inserted and separated from one another.
Puzzle games from z. B. two rings that can only be separated from each other or found again when a correct mutual position is found. Finding this correct position or the correct sequence of movements takes time and skill. Once the solution has been found, the merging or separating is carried out with a single quick movement, so that the game then no longer offers any further appeal.
A patience game is also known (CH-A-188993). which consists of a closed fork (double needle) and a rail, on which movable webs are arranged, each of which carries a ring with its head shaped into an eye and each web is pulled through the ring of the web following it, insofar as one is available.
In addition, a jewelry chain is known (DE-A-1 902 265), in which closed chain links are provided with a constriction in the center and the smaller loop thus formed is bent in the constriction by more than 90 ° against the larger loop. The larger loop is then spread out and the smaller loop of the same second chain link is hung in this larger loop of the first chain link, which is compressed again in the constriction, whereupon the same process is repeated with another chain link.
In the puzzle according to the invention, both finding the solution and, if the solution is known, carrying out the correct sequence of movements requires a certain amount of time, attention and patience without the need for supporting elements or supports for the individual wire elements and also for no use of force or bending of the individual parts is.
The patience game according to the invention has, in addition to annular wire elements, a double needle closed at both ends and is characterized in that it has a chain with a small number of chain links, each chain link being shaped by a constricted and C-shaped ring such that it is two superimposed Forms stitches that are connected on one side by the constriction and on the other side by a gap. whose width is larger than the wire thickness of the double needle. are separated. and wherein in each case the stitches of a chain link comprise the constriction of the subsequent chain link and wherein the double needle encloses the constriction of at least one chain link and its two legs are encompassed by one of the stitches of this chain link and are displaceably guided.
The play possibility is that each chain link can be hung in the double needle. in which it is passed with one of its legs through the gap between the two stitches of the chain link and then encloses its constriction. The chain link can be removed again in the opposite way. This hooking in and out is only possible for the front link of the chain at any time. For any other chain link, it is only possible to attach or detach it. when the preceding chain link is hooked into the double needle, but each chain link still further forward is unhooked. For hanging or unmounting a specific, e.g. B. the last chain link, it is therefore necessary to bring the chain link preceding the chain link in question into the suspended position and all the chain links lying in front of it in the unhooked position by a certain sequence of hooking and unhooking operations. By systematically running through the various possible positions, e.g. B. all chain links hooked into the double needle or the chain can be completely detached from the double needle.
The total number of different positions to be covered increases exponentially with the number of chain links. This is preferably four to eight chain links.
The chain links can preferably be designed so that they can be separated from each other by loosening the chain from the double needle. To prevent this from being possible. when the chain is hooked into the double needle. the foremost chain link is preferably larger than the other chain links.
- Figure 1 shows schematically the game of patience in the ready-to-use position.
- FIG. 2 shows a single chain link greatly enlarged.
- Figures 3. 4 and 5 show schematically the hanging of the chain link in the double needle.
- FIGS. 6 and 7 show the suspended or detached position of a chain link inserted into the chain relative to the double needle.
Das vorderste Kettenglied 3" ist größer als die übrigen Kettenglieder ausgebildet.1, the game of patience consists of a
Starting from the position shown in Fig. 1, the
There is extensive freedom in the size, material and color design of the puzzle. The puzzle can also. possibly reducing the number of chain links, so that it also serves as a key ring, belt or clothes buckle or brooch, in which case you will have to pay attention to the choice of particularly valuable and / or decorative material. Also, the play appeal as well as the decorative effect can be increased by the different colored design of the double needle and chain or the individual chain links.
