Definitions
- the invention relates to a plate-shaped sieve element made of elastic material, with at least one sieve field, the gap-shaped sieve openings in the sieve plane running continuously over the length or width of the sieve field.
- Such a screen element is known from DE-PS 26 34 934.
- rows of short and long sieve openings alternate with one another.
- Such a screen element has good properties in terms of its rigidity and splitting accuracy, but could have an even larger open screen area and improved drainage performance.
- the object of the invention is to enlarge the open screen area in a screen element of the type mentioned at the outset without reducing the rigidity and splitting accuracy.

- Such a sieve element has a very large open sieve area due to the long uninterrupted first sieve openings and thus has a very high drainage capacity.
- the rigidity of the sieve element and the gap accuracy do not decrease, since the regions of the sieve plane that separate the second sieve openings of a row support the edges of the first sieve openings on both sides. These areas thus prevent that the material to be screened does not move the side walls of the first screen openings and thus cannot widen the first screen openings.
- a sieve element designed in this way also has a lower dead weight with the same load-bearing capacity or a higher load-bearing capacity with the same dead weight.
- the sieve element 1 has a smooth upper side (sieve plane). On the underside are longitudinal and transverse webs, not shown, which stiffen the sieve element. In particular, an outer web 2 for reinforcement runs around the edges on the underside, in the area of which no screen openings are arranged.
- the approximately square-shaped sieve field has four webs 2 all around. Between two mutually parallel webs 2, the sieve openings are arranged in parallel, namely first sieve openings 3 as openings running continuously over the entire sieve field and between the sieve openings 3 rows 4 of second sieve openings 5, which are mutually related all of the same length and 1/5 to 1/20, preferably 1/10 of the length of the first screen openings. Rows 4 of second screen openings 5 alternate with first screen openings.
- the widths of all sieve openings are the same and in the exemplary embodiment are approximately 0.5 mm, the length of the first sieve openings being approximately 120 mm and the length of the second sieve openings approximately 12 mm.
- the Siebrest lake located between the openings 3 and 4 rows have the L ijkssteqe 8 are referred to, which extend parallel to the openings.
- the material to be screened is placed in the direction of arrow X on the screen element.
- transverse webs 6 the upper sides of which are lower than the screen plane, transverse to the longitudinal direction of the openings.
- the transverse webs 6 are arranged at regular intervals directly below the areas 7 of the sieve level that separate the second sieve openings 5 of a row.
- the crosspieces 6 do not interfere with the flow through the second sieve openings 5, while the crosspieces 6 and the areas 7 laterally support the side walls and the upper edges of the first sieve openings 3.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a plate-shaped sieve element made of elastic material, with at least one sieve field, the gap-shaped sieve openings in the sieve plane running continuously over the length or width of the sieve field.
Such a screen element is known from DE-PS 26 34 934. In this known sieve element, rows of short and long sieve openings alternate with one another. Such a screen element has good properties in terms of its rigidity and splitting accuracy, but could have an even larger open screen area and improved drainage performance.
The object of the invention is to enlarge the open screen area in a screen element of the type mentioned at the outset without reducing the rigidity and splitting accuracy.
Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, daßThis object is achieved in that
zwischen den ununterbrochenen ersten Sieböffnungen jeweils eine Reihe kürzerer spaltförmiger zweiter Sieböffnungen parallel angeordnet ist.a row of shorter, gap-shaped second sieve openings is arranged in parallel between the uninterrupted first sieve openings.
Such a sieve element has a very large open sieve area due to the long uninterrupted first sieve openings and thus has a very high drainage capacity. The rigidity of the sieve element and the gap accuracy do not decrease, since the regions of the sieve plane that separate the second sieve openings of a row support the edges of the first sieve openings on both sides. These areas thus prevent that the material to be screened does not move the side walls of the first screen openings and thus cannot widen the first screen openings. A sieve element designed in this way also has a lower dead weight with the same load-bearing capacity or a higher load-bearing capacity with the same dead weight.
From DE-OS 30 41 338 a plate-shaped sieve element made of elastic material is known, the sieve fields of which only have gap-shaped sieve openings running parallel next to one another. These continuous sieve openings are held on the underside by transverse webs below the sieve plane, but the side edges of the sieve openings located in the sieve plane can be widened by the grain of the sieved material, so that the splitting accuracy suffers. This known sieve element thus has an insufficient classification result when there is a risk of clogging. In contrast, the sieve element according to the invention does not have these properties.
Advantageous embodiments of the invention are listed in the subclaims.
- Fig. 2 einen Schnitt nach II-II in Fig. 1.
- Fig. 1 is a plan view of part of a screen element and
- 2 shows a section according to II-II in FIG. 1st
The
Although the
The material to be screened is placed in the direction of arrow X on the screen element.
