Nachteilig ist, daß der Verschluß jeweils während des gesamten Transportes mit verfahren werden muß, was unter anderem wegen des vorstehenden Rohrstutzens zu Beschädigungen und Beeinträchtigungen des Betriebs führen kann. Darüberhinaus muß der Verschluß jeweils vor dem Drücken des Kokses abgehoben und nach Einfüllen des Kokses wieder aufgesetzt werden. Dafür sind gesonderte Hebeanlagen notwendig, was sehr aufwendig ist, weil diese zusammen mit dem Kokskuchenführungswagen und/oder dem Kokskübel verfahren werden müssen. Darüberhinaus hat sich herausgestellt, daß während des Verfahrens auf dem Löschgleis die Belästigung durch den glühenden Koks gering ist. Kommt dann der mit glühendem Koks gefüllte Kokskübel zurück und fährt in das Schachtgerüst ein und wird er vom Löschgleis abgehoben, so nimmt erden Verschluß mit und ist nun bis zu seiner Entleerung und Absetzen auf dem Löschgleis gegenüber der Atmosphäre abgeschirmt. Für das Abheben bzw. Aufsetzen des Verschlusses wird somit ein gesonderter Arbeitsvorgang und eine besondere Einrichtung nicht benötigt, was zu einer Vereinfachung des Verfahrens führt, ohne daß die Umwelt nennenswert dadurch höher belastet wird. Mittig des u-förmigen Stückes 38 ist ein Rohrstutzen 39 ausgebildet, der über eine Klappe 40 verschlossen werden kann. Diese Klappe wird während des Absaugvorganges geöffnet, so daß kühle und frische Luft zuströmen kann und dabei die aus dem Kokskübel 1 abgesaugten Gase abkühlt. Dadurch ist es möglich, die abgesaugten Gase am Ende der Absaugleitung 6 über ein Tuchfilter zu entstauben. Claims (11)

1. A method of coke dry quenching wherein the hot red coke is filled into a coke skip, transported to the cooling shaft in said skip and then discharged into said cooling shaft with the coke skip being sealed during transportation and connected to an exhaust system as coke is discharged into said cooling shaft,
characterized in
that said coke skip is not sealed from above until being raised from the quenching car track and then moved in the shaft structure with the seal cover resting on it.
2. Method according to Claim 1,
characterized in
that the released gases are substantially collected during coke skip travelling and exhausted after putting said coke skip on the cool shaft.
3. Coke skip with a cover covering the coke receiver space and having a connection nozzle which can be coupled to the exhaust line to permit travelling according to Claim 1 and Claim 2,
characterized in
that the cover (10) resting detachable on the rim (16) and that the interior space (7) is designed to seal against the atmosphere and is equipped with longitudinal girders (14, 15) projecting beyond the rim towards two sides (17, 18).
