Die Herstellung der Schienen aus allgemein üblichen Profilen und die Montage der Schienen und Schließplatten am Rahmen ist einfach und wirtschaftlich. Dabei können die Schließplatten und die sie überspannenden Abschnitte der Schiene durch gemeinsame Befestigungsmittel am Rahmen befestigt sein. Die in den Fig. 1a und 1b gezeigten Beschlagteile bestehen aus einer Schiene 1 mit U-förmigem Querschnitt, deren beide Schenkel 2 in durch die Riegelelemente 15, 25 festgelegten und dem Abstand der Schließplatten 4 entsprechenden Abständen mit Aussparungen 3 versehen sind. Die Schließplatte 4 besteht aus einer rechteckigen Platte 5, deren Breite maximal dem Abstand zwischen den beiden Schenkeln 2 der U-förmigen Schiene 1 entspricht, und zwei beispielsweise angegossenen oder angeschweißten Formstücken 6. Die Formstücke 6 sind im wesentlichen Quaderförmig und sind an den einander zugewandten Seiten 7 mit Abschrägungen 8 zum Einlauf eines Riegelelementes versehen, die, zusammen mit den Seiten 7, vom Riegelelement hintergreifbare Wangen bilden. Die Formstücke 6 sind dabei so an der rechteckigen Platte 5 befestigt, daß ihre äußeren Seiten 9 so weit an den Längskanten der Platte 5 vorstehen, daß sie, wenn die Schließplatte 4, wie aus der Fig. 1 b ersichtlich, in die U-förmige Schiene 1 eingesetzt ist, bündig mit den Aussenseiten der Schenkel 2 abschließen. Die Schließplatte 4 wird so in die Schiene 1 eingesetzt, daß ihre Formstücke beispielsweise an den unteren Kanten 10 der Ausparungen 3 anliegen. Die Aussparungen 3 sind dabei so dimensioniert, daß ihre Länge wesentlich größer als die der Formstücke 6 ist, so daß oberhalb der Formstücke genügend Raum für das Eingreifen des Riegelelementes in den Bereich der Schließebene verbleibt. Die Schließplatte 4 ist an ihrem oberen und unteren Ende mit Bohrungen 11 versehen und ist mit der U-förmigen Schiene 1 beispielsweise durch Nieten oder Schrauben verbunden. Die U-förmige Schiene 1 ist ebenfalls mit Bohrungen 12 versehen, die zum Anschrauben der Schiene an der Schmalseite eines feststehenden Rahmens 13, wie in der Fig. 2 dargestellt, dienen. Wie aus der Fig. 5 zu ersehen ist, sind bei einer derartig verbreiterten Schiene 1, 29 nur im anschlagseitigen Schenkel 2 der Schiene 1 Aussparungen 3 vorgesehen, während der andere Schenkel 2 durchgehend ausgebildet ist. Claims (10)

1. 2. A lock fitting according to Claim 1, characterised in that the rail (1, 16) is of angular or U-shaped cross-section.
3. A lock fitting according to Claims 1 and 2, characterised in that the recesses (3) are provided in that limb (2, 21) of the otherwise continuous rail (1, 16) which abuts the overlapping surface of the leaf.
4. A lock fitting according to Claims 1 and 2, characterised in that the recesses (3) are provided in both lateral limbs (2) of the otherwise continuous U-shaped rail (1).
5. A lock fitting according to Claim 1, characterised in that the rail (16. 33) comprises individual rail portions adjoining the lock plates (17), each lock plate (17) having recesses (20) for ac- comodating in form-locked and flush manner the ends of the adjacent rail portions.
6. A lock fitting according to Claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the lock plates (4, 17) are releasably connected to the rail (1, 16, 33).
7. A lock fitting according to claims 1 and 5, characterised in that the lock plates (4, 17) and the portion of the rail (1, 16,33) between them are fastened to the surround (13, 23) by common fastening means.
8. A lock fitting according to claims 1 and 5, characterised in that the lock plates (17) secure the portion of the rail (16, 33) between them to the surround (23) by a clamping action.
9. A lock fitting according to claims 1 and 3, characterised in that the rail (1) has along the limb (2) remote from the overlapping surface of the leaf a channel (28) for accommodating a sealing profile (32).
