Abstract

1. Furniture for sitting and sleeping with multiple cushions that can alternatively be utilized as furniture for sitting or as a sleeping couch, whereby the seating cushion is attached at the upper back edge with the lower back edge of the backrest cushion by means of a hinge-like device, whereby the backrest cushion (5) is reduced in length by the seating depth and whereby a retractable pull-out frame (3) rests on a supporting frame that functions as a bedding box (1) and which can be pulled out in the front and is supported in the extended position, characterized in that a flip-over back frame (4) stands behind the backrest cushion (5) that is attached by means of folding hinges (41) which are connected to the side frame (12) of the bedding box (1) and, which can, when in the lying down position, be flipped over onto the latter, whereby the flip-over back frame (4) is so high that in the lying down position the affixed upholstery (40) along with the retractable pull-out frame (3) and the attached seating cushions (30) make for the sleeping surface.

Description

The invention relates to a seat-reclining furniture with several upholstery parts, which can be used either as seating or as a bed, in that the seat cushion at the rear upper edge with the rear lower edge of a back cushion reduced by the seat depth is detachably connected, whereby a pull-out frame extendable forward on a lower frame serving as a bed box and supported in the extended position.

Such furniture is known from DE-C 25 25 005. It has the advantage that it can be easily changed from the sitting to the lying position and vice versa, without having to move the furniture away from the wall. In addition, the entire bedding box volume is easily accessible from the front, and the back can be well supported by the height of the leaning surface of the back cushion.

The disadvantage of the furniture is that the lying width is limited to the depth of the seat cushion and the depth of the folded back cushion. Another disadvantage is that the cushion structure of the back cushion is not analogous to that of the seat cushion, so that different cushion hardnesses arise when in use. In addition, no spring core can be used in the back cushion, which is also effective in the sitting position. It is also unfavorable that only the seat cushion cover is available for lying down.

A similar piece of furniture is known from US-A-3905 053. According to this publication, a seat-couch furniture with several upholstery parts is known, which can be used either as a seat or as a couch. Here, too, a pull-out frame can be pulled out and supported in the extended position. However, this pull-out frame cannot be pulled out on a lower frame serving as a bed box. Due to the absence of this bed box, it is necessary that the known furniture has two side parts which are connected to one another by two angle rails on their underside. Grooves are also necessary in which the frame slides on rollers. The frame is supported self-supporting both in the seat and in the lying position, which requires a relatively complex construction. The back folding frame is also cantilevered in the sitting position only by a roller, which is supported in a vertically backward groove of the arm parts, and by a second roller, which is inserted through a recess in a horizontal groove. So that the arm does not tip over, you have to push a metal rod into the groove.

The invention has for its object to eliminate the disadvantages mentioned and to improve the furniture so that it can be converted into a recliner in a few simple steps and still retain the original properties of the subject matter of DE-C 25 25 005, so that if necessary can also be slept across the wall if circumstances require.

This object is achieved in that behind the back cushion is a folding back frame which is connected via folding hinges to the side frame of the bed box and can be folded in the lying position on the latter, the folding back frame having such a height that the padding arranged on it in the lying position together with the seat cushion attached to the pull-out frame gives the lying surface.

In a second solution to the problem, a back folding frame is located behind the back cushion, which is connected to the side frame of the bed box via folding hinges and can be folded onto the latter in the lying position, the seat cushion being divided into a lower and an upper cushion in its middle level, which is divided by a detachable hinge are connected to one another, the folded seat cushion being arranged on the folding back frame in the lying position. Further developments of the invention are contained in the dependent claims.

According to FIG. 1, a pull-out frame (3) is above a bed box (1), which consists of a front frame (10), a rear frame (11), two side frames (12) and a floor (14) with two rear position rollers (15) ) with a seat cushion (30). The seat or lying height (31) results from the height of the bed box (1) and seat cushion (30). As shown in FIG. 2, it also corresponds to the height (52) of the back cushion. This has a maximum overall depth that corresponds to the bed box height (16). The pull-out frame (3) is connected via rollers (21) to slide rails (20) inside the bed box, which are embedded in the side frames (12). The rollers (21) have a roller connector (22) to which a hinge (23) is attached. With the help of this hinge, the pull-out frame (3) can be raised so that the bed box (1) is accessible. The pull-out frame (3) is connected to the hinge band of the hinge (23) with fastening screws (24). On the front of the pull-out frame (3) there is a support frame (32) with rollers (33), which can be pulled forward through a handle recess (34) up to the bed box stop (25). With the side frame (12) of the bed box next to the rear frame (11), a folding back frame (4) with upholstery (40) is connected via hinges (41). The side frames (12) have an overhang (13) in the back, in which elastic tension elements (26) rest in the sitting position. These are connected to the rear folding frame (4) at point (28) on a fastening (27) of the rear bed frame frame (11). A back cushion (5) is arranged on the seat cushion (30) and coupled at its lower rear edge to the upper rear edge of the seat cushion (30) by a releasable hinge (57). In addition, the back cushion (5) is detachably connected to the back folding frame (4) by means of Velcro strips (50, 51).

In Fig. 2 it is shown how after loosening the Velcro straps (50, 51) the back cushion (5) is folded into the bed box and an average lying width is created.

Fig. 3 zeigt die in die Seitenrahmen (12) integrierte Rollenanordnung.Fig. 3 shows the roller arrangement integrated in the side frame (12).

Der Auszugsrahmen (3) und der Rückenklapprahmen (4) haben vorteilhafterweise die gleiche Bautiefe, Bauhöhe und Polsterung, so daß eine Liegequalität gleich derjenigen von normalen Gebrauchsmöbeln erreicht wird.4, the pull-out frame (3) with the seat cushion (30) is pulled forward as far as it will go (25) and the folding back frame (4) with the cushioning (40) after the hinge (57) has been released on the side frame (12 ) of the bed box folded down by 90 °. The pull-out frame (3) and the back folding frame (4) advantageously have the same overall depth, overall height and upholstery, so that a lying quality equal to that of normal utility furniture is achieved.

Fig. 6 shows that an additional swivel ceiling (45) is arranged on the back folding frame (4) on the upholstery (40). After loosening a zipper (44) that extends from a point (43) to the zipper end piece (42), the swiveling blanket (45) can be folded over the seat cushion (30) in the lying position. The swivel ceiling (45) is held in the sitting position with rubber bands (46) on the lower inner stop edge of the back folding frame (4). In the lying position, the position of the swivel ceiling (45) is fixed by the retaining straps (46) on the front lower edge of the pull-out frame (3). The swivel cover (45) has the advantage that an additional, heat-insulating cover is achieved over the seat upholstery (30) in the lying position and at the same time it is avoided that the user does not have to lie on the seat upholstery for hygienic reasons. The folding frame upholstery (40) is matched to the seat cushion (30). 8, two arm parts, which are shown in detail in FIG. 10, are provided. A pull-out side part (61) is fastened to the pull-out frame (3), while a further fixed pull-out side part (60) is screwed to the bed box side part (12) via a spacer (62). This measure prevents the bedding from slipping on the head and foot side.

In Fig. 11, the back cushion (5) is additionally equipped with a cushion plate (53) to which stops (54, 55) are attached at the top and bottom. A detent insert (56) is provided at the lower stop (55). The stops (54, 55) rest in the sitting position in a recess in the back folding frame (4) and fix the back cushion against lateral displacement. - The lying position is shown in FIG. 12, the back cushion (5) rotated by 180 ° with the latching insert (56) resting in the handle recess (34), while the upper and lower stops (54, 55) on the pull-out support frame (32) is immovable.

Mit Hilfe der Positionsrollen (15) kann das Möbel leicht an einem anderen Platz aufgestellt werden.13 shows a variant of the subject of the application. The back folding frame (4) points in the sitting position on the back a slat suspension (47) or a similar flat suspension. The seat cushion is divided in its middle level into a lower cushion (35) and an upper cushion (36), which are connected to one another by a detachable hinge (37). Two pins (32.1) are arranged on the support frame (32) and are received in drill holes (10.1) in the front frame (10). With the help of the position rollers (15) the furniture can easily be set up in another place.

In the lying position according to FIG. 14, the upper cushion (36) is folded through 180 ° onto the folding back frame (4).

Der Bettkastenseitenrahmen (70) verjüngt sich nach hinten um ein Sitzgefälle (71) bis zur Höhe des Bettkastenhinterrahmens (72).15 and 16 show a variant of the piece of furniture according to the invention with a seat gradient. The back folding frame (7) tapers upwards according to the seat incline. The bed frame side frame (70) tapers to the rear by a seat gradient (71) up to the height of the bed frame rear frame (72).

The pull-out frame (3) with the seat cushions (35) and (36) has an extension piece (73) with rollers (74) which slide on carrier strips (75) attached to the inside of the bed frame side frames (70). The latter run horizontally into a front stop part (76), so that in the extended state the pull-out frame (3) has a horizontal plane which corresponds to the plane of the folded back folding frame (7). The upper seat cushion (36) is folded back onto the frame (7) using the hinge (37).

In the variant of the furniture according to FIGS. 17 and 18, the back cushion (77) is integrated into the lying position if the head is to be used to sleep across the wall. The back cushion (77) has a right angle at the top (77.1) and a support board (77.2) on which there are support feet (77.3) and (77.4) of the same height. The lower foot (77.4) lies against the folding back frame (7), while the upper foot (77.3) rests in a recess (78) in the back cushion frame (7). The back inclination is formed by the tapering of the back folding frame (7) and by the stop of the lower foot (77.4) and the support board (77.2). The height of the back cushion (77) with the lower and the upper foot is equal to the lying height.

With the detachable connection (79), which is located on the pull-out support frame (32), the back cushion is fixed to the upper foot (77.3).

According to FIG. 19, a seat cushion (30) lies on a bed box (1), which is arranged on a support frame (17) with support cams (58) and a handle projection (59) and with which a back cushion (5) on another support frame (18 ) and is connected by an angle hinge or spring bracket (2) and attached to an extension frame (3) of the bed box (1). A support frame (63) with rollers (64) is located on the front of the pull-out frame. On the bed box front wall (65) there are sliding rollers (66) for the bed box pull-out part which has a stop (83) at the back, which is fixed to a front locking device (68) after being pulled out of the bed box front wall (65). At the top of the bed box rear wall (67), a folding back frame (7) is connected to a hinge (69). The pull-out frame (3) slides on support rails (80) attached to the inside of the bed box. A front cushion (8) is arranged in front of the back cushion on the seat cushion (30) and lies against the back cushion (5). At its rear upper edge, it is connected to the front upper edge of the back cushion by a releasable hinge (6).

Fig. 20 shows the furniture as a single bed in a lying position. For this purpose, the support cam (58), which has a catch (81), which rests in a locking lock (82) of the pull-out frame (3), is released by lifting it slightly and the support frame (17) is pulled a little forward and onto the pull-out frame ( 3) or the bed frame side frames (84).

The front cushion (8) is then folded upwards by 180 ° or separated from the detachable hinge 6 and removed. For the conversion to the double reclining position according to FIG. 21, the bed box pull-out part is first pulled a little forwards and, for the removal of bedding, the support frame (17) is folded up over the spring mount in a manner known per se. Then pull out the bed frame pull-out frame as far as it will go and fold the support frame (17) with the seat cushion (30) and the back cushion (5) with the support frame (18) into the lying position. Then the back folding frame (7) is folded inwards and placed on the bed frame side frames (84) and the front back cushion is folded down by 180 ° onto the back frame (7). It is advantageous that the furniture does not have to be moved away from the wall.

Fig. 22 zeigt eine Variante, bei der ein zweites Rückenpolster (9) an Klettenbändern (85) am Rückenklapprahmen (7) befestigt ist..22 shows a variant in which a second back cushion (9) is attached to Velcro strips (85) on the back folding frame (7).

In Fig. 23, the seat cushion (30) and the back cushion (5), after the bed box pull-out part is slightly pulled forward, are folded down horizontally with their support frames (17) and (18), so that either an embedding bed or a relaxation bed for laying on the legs or a multi-seat couch is created. The second back cushion (9) is fixed upwards on the Velcro strips (85).

Fig. 24 zeigt die Liegestellung. Fig. 24 shows the lying position. For this purpose, the pull-out part (3) is pulled out as far as possible, the second back cushion (9) is removed and the back folding frame (7) is folded down until it rests on the bed frame side frames (84). Then the second back cushion (9) is put on and fixed by Velcro strips (86). The inclination for the head position is made with the help of a vertically acting locking fitting (87). The locking fitting is attached to the rear wall (67) of the bed box and has a hinge formation (88) on the upper edge. The hinge is connected to the folding back frame (7).

Fig. 25 shows a further variant, which has the advantage that the second back cushion (9) is not arranged in front of, as in Fig. 22, but behind the back folding frame (7) along its entire length. Here, the pull-out frame (3) has extensions (89) (see FIG. 27) which rest in recesses (90) in the back folding frame (7) or in the head cushion (9) in the sitting position. For the lying position (Fig. 26), the pull-out part (3) is pulled out as far as possible in the manner described above and the seat cushion (30) with the support frame (17) and the back cushion (5) with the support frame (18) to folded down to the horizontal. The head cushion (9) with the folding back frame (7) then only needs to be folded inwards and placed on the bed frame side frames (84). Even with this variant, the furniture does not have to be moved away from the wall.

In the variants according to FIGS. 19 to 27, the support frames are at least so wide that they correspond to the sum of the thicknesses of the bed box pull-out part and the bed box side frame.

Vor dem Rückenpolster (5) steht in der Sitzstellung ein Vorsatzpolster (93), das in ein mittleres Polster (94) und zwei äußere Polster (95) aufgeteilt ist.28, the pull-out frame (3) with the upper cushion (36) is arranged above the bed box (1), which has a stop (91) and a central support (92). The seat or lying height results from the height of the bed box and seat cushion. The support frame (32) with rollers (33) is arranged on the front of the pull-out frame (3) and can be pulled out to the bed box stop (91) through a recess in the handle. The back folding frame (4) is connected to the side frame of the bed box next to the rear frame via folding hinges (41). The back cushion (5) is arranged on the upper cushion (36). The lower cushion (35) is arranged under the seat cushion and connected to the latter by the hinge (37). In front of the back cushion (5) there is a front cushion (93) in the sitting position, which is divided into a middle cushion (94) and two outer cushions (95).

The support frame (32) with rollers (33) is arranged on the front of the pull-out frame (3), which can be pulled forward through a recess in the handle up to the bed box stop (25). With the side frame of the bed box next to the rear frame, the folding back frame (4) is connected to the upholstery (40) via hinges. The swivel blanket (45) is detachably fastened over the seat cushion (30) with the help of zippers (97) and (99) on the outer edges and on the lower front edge. The further course of the blanket passes under the back pad (5) in an intermediate space (96) and extends to the rear edge of the padding (40), where it is detachably connected to a zipper (98). After pulling out the seat cushion (30), at the same time loosening the swivel cover on the zipper, the upholstery (40) is folded inwards and the loose swivel cover is folded over the upholstery part. The swivel blanket can either be used as a thermal underlay or after opening the zippers as a quilt to cover.

Mit der der Rückenklapprahmen (4) auf der Mittelstütze (92) und auf den Seitenrahmen des Bettkastens (1) aufliegt.32 and 34 it can be seen that the back cushion (5) can be guided up to the upper edge of the padding (40) in order to achieve a perfect support of the quilt in the same plane as the back padding. For the lying position, a center recess is provided at (100) and a side recess at (101). With which the folding back frame (4) rests on the center support (92) and on the side frame of the bed box (1).

Under the pull-out frame is a second pull-out frame (102) which can be pulled out up to a stop (103) on the front of the bed box (1). The seat cushion is divided in its middle level into a lower and upper cushion (35, 36), which are connected to each other by a detachable hinge (37). The upper pull-out frame (3), which can be pulled out to the front support frame (104) of the second pull-out frame (102), is supported on the latter with its part facing the head end. The support frame (102, 7) and the lower pull-out frame (102) forming the support surface for the lower and upper upholstery (35, 36) and the back cushion (77) are connected to each other by the lock so that the support surface length corresponds approximately to the height of the bed box, wherein the pads (36, 77) are proportioned so that they correspond to the length and width of the support frame (102, 7), reduced by the support surface. The slat springs (105, 106) and (107) are arranged transversely to the lying direction. The back folding frame (7) and the lower pull-out frame (102) are provided with a support arm (108, 109) bent downwards in the lying position, the latter being arranged in such a way that it simultaneously locks the upper pull-out frame in the correct position in the pull-out movement. A stop (110) is provided for locking the upper pull-out frame (3). This has a handle recess (112) on a front support frame (111) and runs on rollers (113). On the inside of the back folding frame (7), a pivoting ceiling (114) is attached in a hinge-like manner to the upper rear edge of the back folding frame. The swivel cover is held on the side by a Velcro fastener (115) or a zipper and is attached to the frame (7) by a hinge (116). If the back folding frame (7) after the Pull-out frame (102) and (3) are pulled out to their stops, folded down, the swivel cover is placed on the frame (102), thereby protecting the seat cushion in the upholstery fabric. The length of the swivel ceiling corresponds to the length of the lower pull-out frame (102), minus the length of the contact surface of the upper pull-out frame (3). The back folding frame has push buttons, Velcro fasteners (117) or the like on its back, with which the back cushion (77) is fixed in the lying position. In the sitting position, the back cushion (77) is connected to the folding back frame (7) by a Velcro strap or snap fasteners (118). The lower pull-out frame (102) has a side support frame (119) with castors (120), which increases the stability of the frame and at the same time prevents the frame parts from being distorted. In addition, the bed box has an overhang on the top side. With guide rails (121) attached to the support frames, an exact, smooth pull-out is guaranteed. An improvement and simplification of the pull-out system is achieved by providing an inclined tongue guide (122, 123). The back cushion has about the same thickness in the lying position as the seat cushion and has a slight, anatomically correct headrest increase. The pull-out system is simplified in a cost-saving manner and the back cushion (77) has an effective lumbar support in the area of the lower back in the sitting position due to the cross beam (109) of the folding back part. In the case of wider furniture, it is advantageous to provide a central support (124) for supporting the folding back frame.
