Description
- Some are intended to operate on so-called "pre-mixing" torches, which means that the gas mixture is produced in a mixing system located upstream of the head.
The others are intended to operate on so-called "head mix" torches. As the name suggests, the gas mixture is made in the head, and in this case the injector-mixer system upstream of it is no longer necessary.
The present invention relates to improvements made to existing heads for "pre-mix" torches, so that they can also function on "head mix" torches, and it is particularly intended to improve heads comprising a part male or internal nozzle and a female part or external nozzle.
- Figure 1 is a longitudinal section of a head according to the invention associated with the head holder of a torch "mixing in the head".
- Figure 2 is a section similar to Figure 1 but showing a head according to the invention associated with the head holder of a torch "premixed".

- FIG. 10 is a partial section of the internal nozzle, and FIG. 11 is a partial section of the external nozzle which constitute the cutting head of FIG. 7.
In Figure 1, we see a cutting head according to the invention associated with the head holder of a torch "mixing in the head". The
In Figure 2, we see the cutting head according to the invention, which will be described below with reference to Figures 3 and 4, associated with the
We will now describe in more detail the constitution of the
The external nozzle 7 (FIGS. 1 and 2) has at its upper end a
A.In the variant of FIGS. 7 to 11, a second embodiment of the invention is seen. In these figures, the parts corresponding to those of Figures 1 to 6 have the same references followed by the letter A.
It will be emphasized that, unlike the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 to 6, the variant of FIGS. 7 to 11 requires precise alignment of the
En particulier, le principe de l'invention est également applicable à des chalumeaux soudeurs ou chauffeurs: il suffit de supprimer l'alésage axial 8 ou 8A pour l'oxygène de coupe situé au centre de la buse interne 6 ou 6A.It should be understood that the embodiments described and shown have only been given by way of examples and can undergo numerous modifications without thereby departing from the spirit of the invention. In particular, the principle of the invention is also applicable to welding torches or drivers: it suffices to omit the
- a) la tête est polyvalente, car elle peut se monter sur des chalumeaux de conceptions différentes (à mélange préalable ou dans la tête);
- b) tout en étant polyvalent, la tête permet d'aspirer le gaz combustible dans le cas de la figure 1, ce qui apporte une sécurité supplémentaire;
- c) la fabrication est simple et donc économique;
