Abstract

1. A clamping device comprising a guide bar (10), a first clamping arm guided for displacement along said bar and a second clamping arm (42) carried by one end thereof, and a clamping lever for pivoting said second clamping arm towards said first clamping arm and for securing said second clamping arm in position, characterized in that at least two first clamping arms (16, 18) are guided for displacement on said guide bar (10), each of said first clamping arms having a guide member (12, 14) penetrated by said guide bar (10) and adapted to be secured in position thereon, and that the free ends of said first clamping arms (16, 18) are spaced from one another in the transverse direction.
