- Flooding is the operating state when the drainage time between two strokes of the moving floor is not sufficient to drain the swamp in front of the moving floor to such an extent that the cake can be transported.
- the sump is the longitudinal section of the screening drum that is swept by the moving floor. If the drainage is not sufficient, there is still a suspension in the swamp when the moving floor returns, which cannot be moved as a cake, which leads to the above-mentioned flooding.
- centrifuges have a separate feed line for each side with respect to the moving floor, one of which opens on one side and the second on the other side of the moving floor, so that the sump area on both sides of the moving floor is under constant supply of the suspension and can come to water.
- the invention has for its object to provide a pusher centrifuge of the type specified, with which thin suspensions can be processed.
- the outflow opening of the feed pipe points radially outwards, lies in the middle between the two turning points of the push floor, and in that the push floor has a central opening which clears a passage for the feed pipe through the push floor, so that the outflow opening of the feed pipe is alternately located on one or the other side of the moving floor when the pushing floor is pushed back and forth relative to the outflow opening.
- the push centrifuge is provided with a washing device for washing the filter cake on the sieve surface of the sieve drum.
- the push centrifuge as a two-stage centrifuge.
- a screen drum 2 is rotatably mounted in a housing 1 of the pusher centrifuge.
- a disc-shaped sliding floor 4 is arranged, which is rotatable and can be moved back and forth in the longitudinal direction between two turning points, 5 in FIG. 1 and 6 in FIG. 2, relative to the screening drum 2.
- the push floor 4 sweeps a longitudinal section between the turning points 5 and 6 of the filter surface of the screening drum 2 and in each case moves a filter cake along the screening drum 2 in the direction of discharge openings 7, which are provided for the filter cake to be let out.
- the sump which is designated here by 28.
- the turning points 5 and 6 are preferably on both sides of the imaginary center line 3, in FIG. 1, the sieve drum 2, the push floor 4 thus oscillates in a longitudinal section of the sieve drum about this imaginary center line 3.
- a Provided feed tube 8 which is arranged coaxially with the sieve drum.
- An outflow opening 9 of the feed pipe 8 is located in the middle between the two turning points 5 and 6 of the moving floor 4 and points the flow of the suspension radially outwards, ie. H. in the radial direction to the sieve surface of the sieve drum 2.
- the push floor 4 has a central opening 10 which opens a passage for the feed pipe through the push floor during its back and forth movement relative to the outflow opening.
- the outflow opening 9 of the feed pipe 8 is alternately on one or the other side of the moving floor 4 when the pushing floor 4 is pushed back and forth relative to the outflow opening.
- the inflow of the suspension to be separated is introduced into the sump 28, when the sieve bottom 4, after the filter cake has been pushed away, moves to the next turning point and has thus exposed the longitudinal section of the filter surface, so that the liquid of the suspension, unhindered by no filter cake layer, is discharged through the sieve surface of the drum 2.
- the filter cake is pushed along the screening drum 2 in both longitudinal directions.
- the feed tube 8 can be provided for directing the current in the radially outward direction with a baffle plate, as z. B. in Figs. 1 and 2 at the end of the tube 8 can be seen. It would also be possible, as shown in FIG. 3, to close the feed pipe 8 with a cover and to arrange openings 9 for the outflow of the suspension to be supplied.
- the wall delimiting the central opening 10 in the moving floor 4 has a wedge-shaped cross section 11 which points against the direction of the flow direction of the suspension flowing out radially and for distributing the flow of the suspension serves.
- a friction disc 12 or 13 arranged coaxially and parallel to the moving floor is attached to the moving floor 4 on both sides.
- the attachment is provided by a few rods 24, which are each arranged between the moving floor and the respective friction disc 12 or 13.
- the friction disk 13 attached to the side of the sliding floor 4 facing the feed pipe 8 is provided with a central opening 14 provided for the passage of the feed pipe.

Description
The application relates to a pusher centrifuge with at least one sieve drum rotatably mounted in a housing and with a disk-shaped sliding floor arranged coaxially in the sieve drum, which is rotatable and can be moved back and forth in the longitudinal direction between turning points relative to the sieve drum, and for coating one Longitudinal section of the filter surface of the sieve drum and for pushing a filter cake along the sieve drum in the direction towards discharge openings for the filter cake is provided, the turning points preferably being on both sides of the imaginary center line of the sieve drum, with a coaxially arranged to feed the suspension to be separated in the sieve drum The feed tube is provided, and the discharge openings for the filter cake are provided on both sides of the sieve drum.
Solche Schubzentrifugen sind zum Beispiel aus DE-AS 1 065333 und aus DE-AS 1 114149 bekannt.Such push centrifuges are known for example from DE-AS 1 065333 and from DE-AS 1 114149.
The general advantages of the pusher centrifuge, such as high throughput and low residual moisture, are associated with the disadvantage that the centrifuge can only be fed with relatively high solids concentrations. If the inlet concentration decreases, there is a risk of washing up. Flooding is the operating state when the drainage time between two strokes of the moving floor is not sufficient to drain the swamp in front of the moving floor to such an extent that the cake can be transported. The sump is the longitudinal section of the screening drum that is swept by the moving floor. If the drainage is not sufficient, there is still a suspension in the swamp when the moving floor returns, which cannot be moved as a cake, which leads to the above-mentioned flooding.
This is also the case with the two known centrifuges mentioned above. They have a separate feed line for each side with respect to the moving floor, one of which opens on one side and the second on the other side of the moving floor, so that the sump area on both sides of the moving floor is under constant supply of the suspension and can come to water.
To solve this problem, i. H. In the swamp to achieve sufficient drainage, various attempts have been made to incorporate additional sieve surfaces into the centrifuge on the path of the suspension to be separated to the swamp. However, these measures have not succeeded in increasing the range of use of the pusher centrifuge in the direction of thin suspensions.
In the case of suspensions that are relatively easy to sediment, such thin suspensions are first thickened by static sedimentation and only then introduced into a batch centrifuge. In the case of poorly sedimenting suspensions, other machines may be used for pre-thickening, e.g. B. centrifugal decanters with which it is also possible to process thin suspensions. These systems are structurally quite complicated and accordingly expensive and problematic in terms of operation.
The invention has for its object to provide a pusher centrifuge of the type specified, with which thin suspensions can be processed.
This object is achieved according to the invention in that the outflow opening of the feed pipe points radially outwards, lies in the middle between the two turning points of the push floor, and in that the push floor has a central opening which clears a passage for the feed pipe through the push floor, so that the outflow opening of the feed pipe is alternately located on one or the other side of the moving floor when the pushing floor is pushed back and forth relative to the outflow opening.
With this arrangement according to the invention, it is possible to carry out a new process when using a push centrifuge: the flow of the incoming suspension is only allowed into the sump when the sump section has been exposed by moving the push floor, so that the cleared sieve surface the liquid of can pass through entering suspension. The suspension to be separated is distributed automatically to the two drum sections by moving the moving floor, but the flow of the suspension through the feed pipe remains uninterrupted, so that there are no pressure surges in the pipeline carrying the suspension.
According to one embodiment of the push centrifuge according to the invention, it is provided with a washing device for washing the filter cake on the sieve surface of the sieve drum.
According to another embodiment, it is possible to design the push centrifuge as a two-stage centrifuge.

The
The
As can be seen particularly clearly in FIG. 4, the wall delimiting the
Advantageously, a
The structure fastened together, consisting of the sliding
According to the example according to FIG. 7, a push centrifuge according to the invention can be built, in which the sieve drum has a
The pusher centrifuge, as shown in FIGS. 1, 2 and 5, is provided with a
A two-stage centrifuge according to the invention is shown schematically in FIG. Two nested
The relative displacement between the
Similarly, it would also be possible to build multi-stage centrifuges in the manner of the invention.
