Abstract
Bei Bildröhren werden wenige scharf begrenzte und
unregelmäßig verteilte Hindernisse als Inhomogenitäten im
oder am konischen Teil der Kolbenwandung angebracht.
Damit wird der Ablauf einer unvermeidbaren Implosion
schon von Beginn an beeinflußt, indem an den Inhomogeni
täten infolge der Energieanreicherung beim Auftreffen von
die Röhre gefährdenden Stößen Rißbildung ausgelöst wird.
Diese Risse pflanzen sich sofort bis zum Röhrenhals fort und
führen dort zu einer gefahrlosen Belüftung der Röhre.
