Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Betrieb eines Hochgeschwindigkeitsbrenners, bei dem Brennstoff und Luft in einer Verbrennungskammer unter Überdruck weitge hend ausgebrannt werden und die Verbrennungsprodukte (Rauchgase) aus einer im Vergleich zur Brennkammerstirn fläche kleinen, düsenartigen Öffnung mit hoher Geschwin digkeit in den zu beheizenden Raum austreten. Eine verbes serte Verwirbelungs- und Umwälzwirkung in dem mit dem Brenner verbundenen Ofenraum wird dabei dadurch er reicht, daß das Verhältnis P₁/P₂ des Brennkammerdruckes P₁ zum Druck im Raum hinter der Brennkammer P₂ größer als 1,2 ist. Weiter wird eine Vorrichtung zur Durchführung des Verfahrens vorgeschlagen.
