  • a natural consequence of the invention idea is that the locking ring with the entrance opening 10 closed by the latch 3 readily ends up close to the fastening ring 2, and that the opening movement for the knob 4 in the slit 5 will take place from the fastening ring 2, contrary to what is the case with conventional circlips, which implies that an end link, which is hooked into the locking ring 1, must be moved over the knob 4 before it can be loosened. This in its turn increases additionally the safety by the locking ring according to the invention, if some fault should arise on the same.

Claims (4)

1. Federring, bestehend aus einem Sperring (1) und einem Befestigungsring (2) mit einem daran hängenden Endglied, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Öffnungen oder Löcher im Sperring (1) und Befestigungsring (2) durch einen Schlitz (7) verbunden sind, der in nicht angebrachtem Zustand offen ist und bei Anbringung zusammengeklemmt und in dieser Lage durch im Anschluß an den Schlitz liegende Halteglieder (8, 9) festgehalten wird, so daß der Sperring (1) zusammen mit dem Befestigungsring (2) eine Acht bildet.
2. Federring nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Halteglieder Einschnappglieder (8, 9) sind, die im Schlitz liegen.
3. Federring nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Halteglieder (8, 9) den Charakter von Nieten haben.
4. Federring nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Befestigungsring (2) am Schlitz (7) zwei radiale Verlängerungen (5, 6) hat, an denen runde Glieder (3, 4) für Einsetzen in einen rohrförmigen Federring befestigt sind, und daß die Glieder (3, 4) auf einer Seite einen Vorsprung (8) und eine Ausnehmung (9) enthalten, die vorgesehen sind, beim Anbringungsvorgang als Zentrier- und Haltemittel zu dienen.
