Description

The invention relates to a folding box packaging container in the form of a cuboid with a rectangular opening serving as a carrying device in its one end wall, which is formed from four wall parts which can be folded inwards by one fold each.

The already known packaging containers of this type require a relatively large manufacturing effort. In particular, in order to form the rectangular tiling opening, punching lines have to be carried out on the folding blank, for which relatively expensive tools are required.

The invention has for its object to provide a folding box packaging container of the type mentioned, which can be produced with less effort and still results in the use of a cardboard material of the same quality for cutting at least the same strength and resistance of the front opening having the carrying opening.

This object is achieved in that each of the four wall parts forming the end wall provided with the rectangular opening is subdivided into two collapsible surface sections by an additional, parallel fold and is dimensioned such that the additional folds of the folded and together with the first fold limit the rectangular opening in the end wall plane.

It is thereby achieved that the boundary of the rectangular carrying opening is formed on all four sides by folding edges of two wall section layers lying one on top of the other, from which one end wall of the cuboid folding box packaging container consists. In this way, a high load-bearing capacity of the carrying opening against unintentional tearing is achieved even without special reinforcement inserts or other additional measures.

A particularly high strength of the folding box structure can be obtained in that the hinged wall parts hanging on the narrow longitudinal walls of the cuboid folding box are placed in their final position over the wall parts hanging on the wide longitudinal walls of the folding box and folded into the end wall plane.

A further stiffening can also be achieved in that a flap is provided at the outer ends of the foldable wall parts, which can be folded in the opposite direction to the two sections of the same foldable wall part by a second additional, parallel fold and the length of the foldable Wall parts and their subdivision ratio determined by the position of the two additional parallel folds are dimensioned such that the flap in the final state, in which the two collapsible surface sections of the respective foldable wall part are folded parallel to one another into the end wall plane, faces the inside of the longitudinal wall, which they is assigned.

Folding box pocketing containers according to the invention are particularly suitable for bottles filled with liquids, especially beverages, e.g. B. wine bottles for which such packaging containers also offer great packaging advantages.

With 1, 2, 3, 4, the longitudinal walls of the cuboid folding box are designated; 1,3 are the narrow-sided and 2, 4 the broad-sided longitudinal walls. 4, on one side four cut incisions separate, foldable wall parts 5, 6, 7, 8 hang on these. These wall parts are used in a generally customary manner to form one end wall of the folding box, specifically the bottom wall, which forms the standing surface of the folding box shown standing upright in FIGS. 1 to 3. On the other side of the longitudinal walls 1, 2, 3, 4 of the blank hang the foldable wall parts 11, 12, 13, 14, which serve to form the other end wall having the rectangular carrying opening 20. The wall parts 11, 12, 13, 14 are each one fold 11 ', 12', 13 ', 14', in the end wall plane of the folding box, in which the rectangular carrying opening 20 is located, can be clipped. The foldable wall parts 11 to 14 are also divided by an additional parallel fold 11 'to 14' into two sections, of which the second, outer foldable by its additional fold in the same folding direction by 180 °, so that both sections of each foldable wall part lie directly on one another and in the final state, in which they Community s at about the first fold 11 'to 14' by 90 ° are folded in the front plane of the folding box and the respective additional fold line 11 "to 14" the central aperture 20 as shown in Figure 1 to 3 watch, limit.

Furthermore, in the exemplary embodiment shown here, each of the foldable wall parts 11 to 14 is provided with a foldable tab 15 at its outermost end. This can be folded around a second additional parallel fold 11 "'to 14"' in the opposite direction to the two sections of the foldable wall part 11 to 14 mentioned. The length of the foldable wall parts 11 to 14 and their subdivision ratio determined by the position of the two additional parallel folds are dimensioned such that, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the tab 15 in the final state in which the two foldable surface sections of the foldable wall parts 11 to 14 are folded parallel to one another into the end wall plane, nestling or fitting against the inside of the longitudinal wall of the folding box to which it is assigned. This condition is met in the exemplary embodiment described here if the length, for example of the foldable end wall 11, of the folds 11 to 11 "'is measured and is approximately halved by the fold 11". The flap 16 provided in the blank along the outer edge of the one longitudinal wall 1 serves to connect the longitudinal walls 1 and 4 in the manufacture of the folding box. The fasteners indicated by a cross 17 can staples o d. Like. Which connect the foldable wall parts 11 to 14 in their final position in the end wall plane. However, other types of fastening can also be used.

B. Wein in Flaschen. Particular advantages hot a fat-Schochtel packaging container according to the invention also for the storage of the contained therein and for the gradual removal of goods units, such as. B. Bottled Wine. Such a container can, for example, contain six wine bottles in two layers of three bottles each, the bottle heads facing the end of the packaging container having the carrying opening. A large number of identical packaging containers lying on one flat side can now be stacked on shelves in such a way that the front side of all containers which has the rectangular opening is at the front. If one or more bottles are now to be removed from one or the other container, only that wall part of the end wall of each container that forms the upper boundary of the rectangular opening needs to be cut through at two points up to the upper flat side wall of the container with a knife be so that a flap hanging from above is formed. By lifting this flap, the carrying opening, which originally had the shape of a relatively narrow rectangle, can be expanded to a removal opening from which one bottle can be conveniently removed, while the bottles which are initially intended to remain in the container can be removed by the others Parts of the container end wall are secured in their position, but are also accessible through the removal opening.
