Claims (4)

1. Auspuff-Vorschalldämpfer für einen Motor mit innerer Verbrennung, mit einem Gehäuse, das von einer Seitenwand (1:31) und zwei Endwänden (2, 3; 32, 33) gebildet ist und in dem zumindest eine erste Abschwächungsstufe für Reflexion und/oder Interferenz und mindestens eine einen Helmholtz-Resonator bildende zweite Stufe angeordnet sind, der von einer Kammer und einem Hals gebildet ist und einen Druckabgriff bildet, der mit der ersten Stufe in Verbindung steht, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sich der Druckabgriff der zweiten Stufe von der einen Endwand (3; 33) des Gehäuses mittels eins Halses (19; 48) vollzieht, der zumindest teilweise ausserhalb des Gehäuses liegt, und daß die Kammer (9; 42) des Resonators von Rohren (11, 12, 13; 45, 46, 47) durchdrungen ist, die Teil der ersten Stufe sind.
2. Schalldämpfer nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Druckabgriff des Resonators in der Außenwand (3; 33) des Gehäuses dem Gaseintritt gegenüberliegend und mit einem Eintrittsrohr (11; 45) fluchtend angeordnet ist.
3. Schalldämpfer nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Kammer (9; 42) des Resonators zwischen zwei Kammern (8, 10; 41, 430 angeordnet und Teil der ersten Stufe ist.
4. Schalldämpfer nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der den Druckabgriff des Helmholtz-Resonators bildende Hals (19; 48) einen gekrümmten Teil enthält, der außerhalb des Gehäuses liegt,. und einen geradlinigen Teil (19b) aufweist, der sich bis in die Kammer (9; 42) des Resonators erstreckt.
