Abstract

A soft, fluffy, bulky, nonwoven fabric is disclosed which is made from bonded or at least partially fused fibers which have been needle-punctured.

Description

The invention relates to an interlining nonwoven, in particular for soft, fluffy and voluminous textile outer fabrics, consisting of staple and / or continuous fibers, which solidifies with the aid of binders and / or thermoplastic softenable binding fibers and which is provided on one or both sides with an adhesive pattern on the surface is.

Interlining nonwovens of this type have long been used in the textile industry in addition to interlining and interlining. Iron-on interlining nonwovens have proven particularly useful, one or both surfaces being provided with an adhesive pattern. In the binder fiber bonded nonwovens spot welded nonwoven fabrics are preferred, and in this case Vliesgewic h te between about 30 to 50 g / m 2 without any adhesive material. In the case of heavier spot-welded nonwovens, an insufficient volume and a somewhat too firm grip are generally achieved.

To reinforce the modern textile outer fabrics, attempts have already been made to roughen the good fiber-bonded, spot-welded interlining nonwovens to a better volume. However, this attempt showed no improvement, because the fibers are pulled out during the roughening process and the linting nonwoven cannot be coated with adhesive. The loose fibers occupy the printing device and the interlining nonwoven fabric, which is poorly coated with adhesive, is not resistant to washing and dry cleaning.

The invention is based on the object of developing a nonwoven interlining which is particularly suitable for soft, textile outer fabrics and which does not interfere with the properties of the outer fabric and, in particular, should have good drapability. This interlining nonwoven is also said to be washable and cleanable.

An interlining nonwoven fabric is proposed which consists of staple and / or continuous fibers and is consolidated with the aid of binders and / or thermoplastic softenable binder fibers and is provided on one or both sides with an adhesive pattern on the surface. The interlining nonwoven fabric known in this way is characterized in that, after solidification with the binder or the binding fibers, it is needled on one or both sides with felting needles at 20 to 100 punctures / cm 2 in such a way that it is attached the cutout side has a fluffy surface. If the nonwoven is only needled on one side, the adhesive is expediently printed or powdered on the puncture side.

Cross-laid nonwovens are particularly suitable as the basic nonwovens. However, longitudinally laid nonwovens made of staple and / or continuous fibers or wetlaid nonwovens are also suitable. It is surprising that an interlining nonwoven fabric which is strengthened in a known manner by binding fibers or binders has the desired fluffy and voluminous properties if it is needled in the manner proposed according to the invention. This effect was not to be expected because well-known, pre-needled nonwovens are relatively hard and stiff. Pre-needled and then consolidated nonwovens are used, for example, as needle felt floor coverings or as backing materials for synthetic leather. Needling reduces the softness and volume of the raw material. In contrast, the E inla g estoff according to the invention is intended to be needled, after solidification, which surprisingly leads to the comparison with the known needle nonwovens opposite effect.

Interlining nonwovens have been found to be suitable, which are either bound to a binder known per se with 5 to 30% by weight, based on the weight of the fibers. Polyacrylic ester dispersions, polyurethane binders or silicone rubber binders can be used as binders. Binder additions of 10 to 20% by weight, based on the weight of the fibers, are often desired. When using binding fibers, homofil fibers, but preferably bicomponent fibers, can be used. Nylon 6, copolyester or bicomponent fibers made of nylon 66/6 or polyethylene terephthalate / copolyester are particularly suitable. The binder fibers can make up 10 to 100% by weight of the fiber mixture. Conventional fully synthetic fibers such as polyesters, polyamides or polyacrylonitrile fibers are suitable as co-fibers. In addition, semi-synthetic or natural fibers can also be used.

The interlining nonwoven fabric according to the invention is needled on one or both sides after consolidation. It expediently has 20 to 100 punctures / cm 2 . The nonwoven fabric can be finished, for example dyed, before or after the needling process. In the case of iron-on interlinings, this refinement process consists in applying adhesive, preferably on the denser stitch side, which is not fluffy. Subsequent application of the adhesive is preferred in order to avoid that the adhesive is partially detached in the needle process. In the case of non-fixable interlining fabrics, it is better to needle on both sides in order to obtain the desired fluffy surface from both sides.

The interlining materials according to the invention have a fluffy feel that has not previously been attainable, which surprisingly is not impaired even during dry cleaning and washing. The needled products already differ in appearance and in their properties considerably from known interlinings. In particular, however, they differ from those nonwovens that are pre-consolidated with the help of needles before binding. Beispiel 1example 1

% Polyester 1,7 dtex.A fleece is carded onto a card with a fiber mixture of 50% polyamide 6, 1.6 dtex and 50% by weight polyester 1.7 dtex.

This fleece is laid down on a slatted belt by means of cross layers. The weight of the fiber pile is 24 g / m. This pile is led into an impregnation plant and impregnated there with a foamed mixture of a polymer dispersion of 90% by weight butyl acrylate, 6% by weight acrylonitrile and 4% by weight N-methylolacrylamide, to which some wetting agent and 1 part by weight are firmly added to solid maleic acid , so that 5 g / m 2 dry matter are absorbed. The proportion of binder is approx. 21% by weight. The width is 1 m, the winding speed is 11 m / min.

This nonwoven is then passed through a needle chair with 2 boards with 5000 needles / m each with 38 gauge and 3 barbs per edge (9 barbs per 3 edges). The stroke is 1000 / min, the insertion depth is 14 mm, all 3 barbs per edge pierce the nonwoven fabric. The throughput speed is 24 m / min, the number of punches per cm 2 is 38. The result is a one-sided flausc h strength material.

Er dient als aufbügelbarer Einlagestoff, z.B. für Popelineoberstoff, Blusenoberstoff usw.12 g / m 2 of a copolyamide hot-melt adhesive in dispersion form, which is a terpolymer of 25% nylon 6, 25% nylon 66 and 50% nylon 12, are applied to the smooth, non-fluffy surface using the screen printing process. The hot melt adhesive is applied with a 20 mesh stencil, dried and sintered. This nonwoven fabric can be ironed onto an outer fabric made of a polyester-cotton mixture with a plate press at 350 mbar, 150 ° C and 10 seconds and results in a very soft, pleasing handle that is relatively full for its low weight and good surface smoothness of the fabric top. It serves as an iron-on interlining, e.g. for poplin, blouse, etc.

The measurement of the thickness of the nonwoven fabric with adhesive according to DIN draft standard 53 855 part 2 resulted in 0.42 mm (thickness without needles 0.30 mm). Measurement of the falling power of those with the same waiter Laminated nonwovens according to DIN 54 306 resulted in 50.1%. The low drop coefficient shows greater drapability and a softer textile drop capacity than is the case with conventional interlining nonwovens.

Beispiel 2Example 2

Die Breite ist 1 m.On a card, a fleece is carded with a fiber mixture of 30% nylon 66 with a titer 1.7 dtex, 20% polyester with a titer 3.3 dtex and 50% of a core-sheath bicomponent fiber, which is made of 50% nylon 6 and 50% is made of nylon 66 and the titer is also 3.3 dtex. This fleece is placed on a slatted belt by means of cross layers. Then the fleece is calendered with a smooth roller and an engraved roller with dot dimensions of 0.55 x 0.8 x 0.65 mm and 30 dots / cm 2 (dot spacing in the horizontal rows 2.1 mm, in the vertical rows Rows 1.6 mm) welded at a temperature of 225 ° C and a pressure of 50 kp / cm. The outlet speed is 10 m / min, the weight of the calendered nonwoven is 6 0 g / m 2 . The width is 1 m.

Der Schmelzkleber wird punktförmig aufgetragen, wobei der Punktdurchmesser 0,90 mn beträgt und 30 Punkte statistisch aufThis nonwoven fabric is then passed through a needle chair with 2 boards with 5000 needles / m each with 40 gauge and 3 barbs per edge (9 barbs per 3 edges). The stroke is 1000 / min, the penetration depth is 14 mm; all 3 barbs per edge pierce the nonwoven. The throughput speed is 24 m / min, the number of punches per cm 2 is 38. The result is a one-sided flausc h strength material which is very drapable, soft and bulky. 23 g / m 2 of a copolyamide hot-melt adhesive from a dispersion, which is a terpolymer of 25% nylon 6, 25% nylon 66 and 50% nylon 12, are applied to the smooth, non-fluffy surface using the screen printing method. The hot melt adhesive is applied in dots, the point diameter being 0.90 mm and 30 points statistically

Er dient als aufbügelbarer Einlagestoff für Mäntel, Kostüme, Herrenjacketts u.a.a cm 2 are distributed, and then dried and sintered. This nonwoven can be ironed with a plate press at 350 mbar, 150 ° C and 10 seconds on a polyester cotton 65/35 and gives a very soft and pleasant full grip. It serves as an iron-on interlining for coats, costumes, men's jackets, etc.

Beispiel 3 (Vergleichsversuch)Example 3

A nonwoven fabric is produced as in Example 2 without being subjected to the post-needling procedure according to the invention. It is harder, flatter and less drapable than the control sample of Example 2 and the flausc h owned character lacks the surface.

The laminate ironed with the outer fabric PE / BW 65: 35 also shows a much flatter and firmer grip than in example 2.

Beispiel 4 (Vergleichsversuch)Example 4

  • Beispiel 2 = 1,32 mm
  • Beispiel 3 = 1, 15 mm
  • Beispiel 4 = 1,12 mm
A fleece of the same composition as in Examples 2 and 3 is carded, laid crosswise and needled. The following conditions are selected: 2 needle boards (needled from above), 6 m / min, 700 stroke, 12 nm penetration depth. This fleece is then welded under the same conditions as in Example 2 at 10 m / min in a calender with an engraved and smooth roller at 225 ° and coated in a similar manner as in Example 2 with copolyamide hot melt adhesive. The nonwoven fabric produced in this way is somewhat more restless than that produced according to Examples 2 and 3, but resembles the nonwoven fabric of Example 3 before and after ironing in its hard and firm grip. After ironing with a smooth upper The surface of the fabric is much more restless. All 3 samples are ironed with a 65/35 polyester-cotton fabric, 3 x cleaned according to DIN 54 303 sheet 1 and 3 x washed according to DIN 54 304 sheet 1 and 53 920 section 4.3 (60 °). All 3 samples show almost the same behavior with these care treatments. They fluff little, and the laminates show only a slight change in grip compared to the initial state. The thickness measurement of the coated material according to DIN draft standard 53 855 part 2 showed the following results:
  • Example 2 = 1.32 mm
  • Example 3 = 1, 15 mm
  • Example 4 = 1.12 mm

  • Beispiel 2: 61,8 %
  • Beispiel 3: 69,4%
  • Beispiel 4: 72,2 %
The falling properties of a laminate with the same outer fabric, measured with the "Cusick Tester" according to DIN 54 306, showed:
  • Example 2: 61.8%
  • Example 3: 69.4%
  • Example 4: 72.2%

The low fall coefficient shows the softer textile fall and the better drapability.
