Abstract

Une machine a imprimer fonctionnant a l'aide d'un clavier (3) possede un clavier (1) produisant un signal different pour chacune des touches, une imprimante connectee au clavier et sensible a chaque signal different pour imprimer un caractere approprie, et une unite de stockage et de rappel de donnees (4) qui est connectee pour recevoir des signaux provenant du clavier et pour transmettre des signaux a l'imprimante. L'unite de stockage et de rappel de donnee est programmee et une commande (6) est prevue pour placer l'unite dans des etats respectifs de production et de non-production des signaux. Lorsqu'elle se trouve dans l'etat de production des signaux, un ou plusieurs signaux recus du clavier peuvent servir comme instruction a l'unite pour produire un ou plusieurs signaux qui sont envoyes a l'imprimante, de telle sorte que des groupes etablis d'information peuvent etre imprimes sans avoir recours a l'utilisation manuelle du clavier. Le terme "imprimante" englobe un dispositif d'affichage, une machine de traitement de texte, un ordinateur etc.
