Der Filterüberzug (5), vorzugsweise ein Lüster, weist eine Transmission bei 400 nm von etwa 40%, bei 500 nm von etwa 60%, bei 600 nm von etwa 70% auf. Filterschichten auf dem Hüllkolben aufzubringen ist bekannt. So wird bei einer Quecksilberdampf-Hochdruckentladungslampe mit ellipsoidförmigem Hüllkolben auf der Innenseite des Hüllkolbens ein Leuchtstoff angebracht, der gelbes Licht und solches kürzerer Wellenlänge emittiert, und auf der Außenseite des Hüllkolbens ein Filterbelag aufgebracht, der das gelbe Licht durchläßt und das kürzerwellige Licht absorbiert. Diese Lampe soll statt Natriumdampflampen in der Straßenbeleuchtung an verkehrsgefährdenden Stellen eingesetzt werden (GB-PS 818 423). Bei einer anderen Quecksilberdampf-Hochruckentladungslampe, die für Pflanzenzucht verwendet werden soll, sind beide Schichten auf der Innenseite des Außenkolbens angebracht, wobei die Filterschicht aus Cobalt-Aluminat besteht und zwischen der inneren Glaswand des Außenkolbens und der Leuchtstoffschicht aufgebracht ist (JA-GM 43-3864).It is known to apply filter layers to the envelope flask. Als Leuchtstoff ist in Kombination mit der Filterschicht ein mit Europium aktiviertes Yttriumvanadat-Phosphat geeignet. Die Filterschicht besteht vorzugsweise aus einem Lüster, der gemäß der Neuerung bei nicht brennender Lampe eine goldbraune Farbe aufweisen soll. Das letztere hat den Vorteil, daß die Lampe auch, wenn sie nicht betrieben wird, ein dekoratives Aussehen hat, was noch durch die Ausbildung des Außenkolbens in Form einer Kugel verstärkt wird. Durch die Kombination des rotemittierenden Leuchtstoffes mit einer Filterschicht der beanspruchten Transmission wird eine Entladungslampe mit glühlampenähnlicher Lichtfarbe mit einer Farbtemperatur von ungefähr 2800 K und einem Farbwiedergabeindex R 60 erreicht. Die Lüsterfarbe 5 hat dabei die in Figur 2 dargestellte Transmission von etwa 40 % bei 400 nm, etwa 60 % bei 500 nm und etwa 70 % bei 600 nm. In Figur 3 ist der spektrale Strahlungsfluß φ einer 50 W-Lampe gemäß der Neuerung dargestellt.
