Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for producing an elastic thread, in which an elastomer thread of approximately 140 to 200 is adhesively twisted with two yarns, the strength of each of which is only about 1/10 of the elastomer thread, the yarns preferably being produced by the rotor method.
- yarn of polyvinyl chloride, Polyvinylzwanid, polyacrylonitrile and / or wollfdäen used and the yarns prior to twisting for loosening at a negative pressure between about 0,1 and 0,2 bar in hot steam of about 70 ° C up to 10 minutes at its surface on g be equollen as well as the elastomer thread is given a pretension when twisting against the yarns.
- Elastic threads usually consist of an elastomer thread and two yarns made of natural or synthetic threads, which hide this mostly undyed elastomer thread. So far, it has been difficult to produce elastic threads from inexpensive OE yarns and an elastomer thread. OE yarns are made using the rotor process, are very hard and have an approximately circular cross-section. Such round yarns do not tend to adhere to the surface of the elastomeric thread and g to remain so during Auseinancerrecken and contraction of the elastomer yarn at a once an e-taken place but slide on the elastomer thread back and forth, which after some time the extremely undesirable "Grin" of the non-colored, mostly whitish elastomer thread occurs.
- the invention is therefore based on the object of avoiding this tearing of threads during the start-up phase of the twisting device, the advantages of the method according to DE-OS 28 11 329 being retained and increased productivity with less downtime being made possible.
- This object is achieved with a method of the type mentioned g-e according to the invention achieved in that the tension of the elastomeric yarn during starting the twisting device held equal to the tension of the yarns in approximately and only after a predetermined period of time after Starting the twisting device between about 2 and about 5 times the pre-tension is given to the elastomer thread.
- the device proposed according to the invention for carrying out this method is characterized in that two gears with different ratios are provided for transmitting the torque of a drive shaft to the delivery and pressure cylinders of a twisting device, the one gear with a ratio that has approximately the same delivery speed for yarn - And elastomeric threads results from a clutch on the drive shaft when switching on the twisting device and uncoupled after a predetermined period of time and the other gear, which causes an approximately 2 to 5 times lower delivery speed of the elastomeric thread compared to the yarns, is simultaneously coupled.
- the pretensioning is built up only after the device has started up, it can be achieved that the elastomer thread is not overstretched in the start-up phase or the yarn threads are suddenly loaded so high when starting that they tear.
- an elastic one Thread 11 is made from an elastomer thread 10 and two yarns, preferably OE yarns, although the invention is generally directed towards the production of elastomer thread.
- the three threads are pinned in a twisting ring 21 via a deflection roller 24 for the elastomer thread or guide rollers 26, 27, 28 aligned essentially parallel.
- the non-elastic yarns 13 and 14 are withdrawn from their spools of thread 16, 17 by the interaction of a pressure damper 19 which, if necessary, rests on the lever cylinder 18.
- the conveying speed of the yarns will. determined by the rotational speed of the delivery cylinder 18.
- the Elsstomer thread 10 is drawn off its supply roll 22 with the aid of a delivery cylinder 23, the pretensioning of the Elzstoner thread depending on the rotational speed of the delivery cylinder 23.
- the delivery cylinder 23 and the delivery cylinder 18 are driven by a common drive shaft 38, the respective rotational speeds being regulated by step-up gears 34, 36.
- the first translation which takes place through the gear 34, which is just engaged in the operating mode shown and is therefore effective, leads to a delivery speed of elastomer thread and yarns of approximately 1: 1.
- the elastomer thread is therefore not pretensioned with respect to the yarns.
- the other gear 36 shown in the drawing as not engaged, leads to approximately 2 to approximately 5 times the pretensioning of the elastomer thread by the delivery cylinder 23 rotating more slowly than the delivery cylinder 18.
- the device which is used to carry out the method according to the invention is started up as follows:
- the first clutch 30 is acted on by the switching on, which is engaged - as shown in the figure -, whereby the torque of the drive shaft 38 leads to approximately the same delivery speed for elastic yarn and OE yarn at an approximately 1: 1-fold ratio.
- the second clutch 32 is acted upon, for example by an electrical time circuit or similar devices well known to the person skilled in the art, and at the same time the coupling 30 is disconnected, so that the torque of the drive shaft 38 now acts via the gear 36.
- the elastomer thread is given about 2 to 5 times, preferably 3.5 times the pretension compared to the inelastic thread.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a method for producing an elastic thread, in which an elastomer thread of approximately 140 to 200 is adhesively twisted with two yarns, the strength of each of which is only about 1/10 of the elastomer thread, the yarns preferably being produced by the rotor method. yarn of polyvinyl chloride, Polyvinylzwanid, polyacrylonitrile and / or wollfdäen used and the yarns prior to twisting for loosening at a negative pressure between about 0,1 and 0,2 bar in hot steam of about 70 ° C up to 10 minutes at its surface on g be equollen as well as the elastomer thread is given a pretension when twisting against the yarns.
Elastic threads usually consist of an elastomer thread and two yarns made of natural or synthetic threads, which hide this mostly undyed elastomer thread. For this reason, it was proposed in US Pat. No. 2,146,966 to glue such yarns that do not automatically adhere to the elastomer thread to the elastomer thread using a suitable, for example heat-activatable adhesive. Before the twisting, the elastomer thread is provided with a heat-activatable adhesive, twisted and activated after the twisting process by a heat treatment, as a result of which the yarns are firmly bonded to the elastomer thread. This process therefore always requires yarns impregnated with glue, which may have undesirable properties - for example, the glue can change colors in the long run, is expensive, may cause allergies and, particularly at elevated temperatures, undesirably reacts with free valences of the synthetic fibers.
In DE-OS 28 11 329, therefore, a better method of the generic type has been provided, in which a good bond with the elastomer thread can in any case be achieved by using roughened and swollen yarns which adhere more easily to the elastomer thread that it would be necessary to add expensive and adversely affecting adhesives. The elastomer thread is preferably twisted under approximately 3.5 times the pretension.
It has now been found that thread breaks often occur in the manufacture of these twists when the twisting device starts up and stops, especially when a machine has to be stopped for a short time without, for example, spools of thread or the like being replaced.
The invention is therefore based on the object of avoiding this tearing of threads during the start-up phase of the twisting device, the advantages of the method according to DE-OS 28 11 329 being retained and increased productivity with less downtime being made possible.
This object is achieved with a method of the type mentioned g-e according to the invention achieved in that the tension of the elastomeric yarn during starting the twisting device held equal to the tension of the yarns in approximately and only after a predetermined period of time after Starting the twisting device between about 2 and about 5 times the pre-tension is given to the elastomer thread.
The device proposed according to the invention for carrying out this method is characterized in that two gears with different ratios are provided for transmitting the torque of a drive shaft to the delivery and pressure cylinders of a twisting device, the one gear with a ratio that has approximately the same delivery speed for yarn - And elastomeric threads results from a clutch on the drive shaft when switching on the twisting device and uncoupled after a predetermined period of time and the other gear, which causes an approximately 2 to 5 times lower delivery speed of the elastomeric thread compared to the yarns, is simultaneously coupled.
Because the pretensioning is built up only after the device has started up, it can be achieved that the elastomer thread is not overstretched in the start-up phase or the yarn threads are suddenly loaded so high when starting that they tear.
Further features and advantages of the invention result from the claims and from the following description, in which an exemplary embodiment is described with reference to the drawing consisting of a single figure, which shows a schematic representation of an apparatus for carrying out the method according to the invention.
In the method according to the invention, an elastic one Thread 11 is made from an
Two different translations are shown in the figure. The first translation, which takes place through the
The device which is used to carry out the method according to the invention is started up as follows:
First of all, the
Of course, it is within the Erfindun g s-thought, instead of providing an electrical coupling mechanical couplings, which can also be connected arbitrarily manually. However, it is preferred to couple the clutches such that only one clutch can be engaged and is effective.
The features of the invention disclosed in the above description, in the drawing and in the claims can be essential both individually and in any combination for realizing the invention in its various embodiments.
