Definitions
- the invention is directed to a device for securing clothes hangers to support rods.
- Such support rods are preferably arranged in transport containers, such as trucks, wagons, or containers.
- the hangers are hung with their hooks on the support rods and are to be prevented by the device from falling off, which could result from the movements during transport.
- a safety rod which is essentially parallel to the support rod and is pivotable between two positions is provided in devices of this type.
- a first release position pivoted away from the supporting rod the securing rod is moved so far that the clothes hangers can be freely suspended or removed from the supporting rod with their hooks. This is the case when loading or unloading the transport container equipped with the carrying rods.
- the securing rod In the transport state of the container, however, the securing rod is pivoted into a blocking position folded against the support rod, where the hooks of the clothes hangers are held on the support rod so that they cannot be lifted off and as immovably as possible.
- tapes or straps are used to lock the blocking position, with which the folded safety rod is tied to the support rod. A lot of time is required to close or loosen the straps or straps, especially since several connections to the folded security rod, which are distributed over the length of a support rod, are required.
- the additional locking means consisted of spring clips or eyelet-pin couplings between the safety rod and the support rod, apart from the work required to set and deactivate these separate locking means, a certain sequence of movements of the safety rod had to be observed and a complicated operation had to be learned. The locking position of the security rod was not always reliably secured with these locking means.
- the invention has for its object to develop a cost-saving device of the type mentioned in the preamble of claim 1, the one Easy handling of the security rod is only required and is still characterized by an extremely reliable locking of the locking position of the security rod.
- the securing rod carries radially projecting, non-rotatable lugs, a circumferential region of the supporting rod is arranged as an obstacle in the middle of the path of movement of the lugs when the securing rod is pivoted, and the securing rod forms a flexurally elastic member which forms an obstacle at the transition of the lugs Maximum of its rod deflection passes.
- the securing rod has the additional new function of serving as a clamping element for locking its own blocking position.
- the noses that are non-rotatably attached to the securing rod no additional elements are required for the locking process; one comes out with the device with the support rod and the pivotably mounted safety rod.
- the securing rod When pivoting, the securing rod strikes a circumferential region of the supporting rod placed in its path, which apparently stands in the way of the further pivoting of the securing rod as an obstacle. But then the flexurally elastic effectiveness of the security rod begins to develop.
- the one on the security rod stuck noses cause the securing rod to bend more and more as the pivoting continues until a so-called “dead center position" of the securing rod is reached in relation to its pivot axis. In this position, the nose, which is guided along the circumference of the support rod, has brought the area of the securing rod sitting on it to a maximum distance from its pivot bearing axis, as a result of which a maximum deflection of the rod is achieved.
- the safety rod in its deflection could have deformed back so far that it was folded onto the supporting rod almost without tension. It is, however, more favorable to leave the securing rod with sufficient residual tension in the locked position in order to safely rattle out the rattling movements of the securing rod on the supporting rod.
- the extent of the tension depends first of all on the bending elasticity of the security rod itself.
- the support rod could experience a counter-deflection due to the lugs supporting it on the rod, which includes these effects in the tensions of this self-locking system, it is more expedient for the reliable mounting of the clothes hangers to assume an essentially rigid support rod, if at all can sag due to the weight loads of the hangers suspended from it, but does not undergo any noteworthy deformation due to the lugs running over them.
- This load-related sagging of the support rod has not inconsiderable difficulties in holding the hooks of the hangers in the known devices, because there have been too large distances between the sagging support rod and the unaffected safety rod in its folded position.
- the resulting tension of the security rod also depends on the profile of the nose sitting on the security rod from which expediently has a profile that is different on both sides.
- a control curve is provided on a profile side that meets the support rod when the securing rod is pivoted, which ensures the extent of the desired deflection of the securing rod.
- the extent of the tension of the securing rod can also be changed retrospectively for a given construction if one changes the number and the distribution of the lugs having a predetermined profile along the securing rod. It is advisable to move the lugs longitudinally on the security rod, which is possible without additional security measures if you use an angular profile for the security rod, for example, to form it as a square.
- Such an angular profile of the securing rod also contributes to an increase in the locking if the rod deflection is allowed to jump from one profile edge to another during the transition at the obstacle. This is because the angular locking rod is difficult to bend in the direction of a profile corner, because there is a much higher rigidity in this direction than in the direction of a profile side. At the transition at the obstacle, the rod deflection that has occurred can suddenly change from one profile side to another profile side, which only determines the deflection during the final blocking position. In this way, the locking position can be locked particularly reliably.
- the support rod can form an obstacle in basically two different ways, which causes the above-mentioned tension-generating deflection of the securing rod, whereby if necessary, both measures can also be used at the same time.
- the simplest thing is to arrange the pivot axis of the securing rod outside the cross section of the supporting rod and to place the support rod with part of the cross-sectional profile in the middle of the pivoting path of the securing rod, because then the support rod can have a symmetrical cross-sectional profile, for example a circular tube.
- the pivot axis which would be favorable for the overall height of the device, lay inside the cross section of the support rod, in particular arrange the pivot axis coaxially with the longitudinal center line of the support rod, if the support rod is given an asymmetrical cross-sectional profile which has a profile elevation which as an obstacle in the path of movement of the noses when pivoting the security rod.
- the device comprises a support rod 10, which is provided at its ends, as shown in FIG. 7, with end pieces 11, which enable a coupling to complementary receptacles in the side walls of a transport container, such as a container.
- end pieces 11 have pins 12 which are inserted into the profile interior of the support rod 10, which consists of a circular tube profile.
- a fastening pin 13 is guided through transverse bores of the pin 12 and the support rod 10 and also ensures a rotationally fixed connection between the end piece 11 and the support rod 10.
- the end piece 11 also comprises a coupling head 14 and a neck 15 which is offset from it and which lie in front of the end face 16 of the support rod 10.
- a tab 17 which has an angled stop tab 19 for a handlebar 21 which is pivotally mounted on the bracket 17 via a bearing pin 22.
- the coupling head 14 has plane cutouts 24 which ensure that the support rod 10 is non-rotatably positioned in receptacles of a transport container (not shown in more detail). In this way, the tab 17 with the bearing pin 22 of the handlebar 21 is also in its basically fixed position in the position of use.
- the device also includes a securing rod 20 which runs essentially parallel to the support rod 10 and which has a polygonal profile, for which a square tube is particularly suitable, as shown in FIGS. 4 to 7.
- a securing rod 20 which runs essentially parallel to the support rod 10 and which has a polygonal profile, for which a square tube is particularly suitable, as shown in FIGS. 4 to 7.
- the support rod 10 is designed with regard to its moment of inertia so that it remains essentially stiff
- the moment of inertia of the securing rod 20 is smaller, so that it is elastically flexible.
- the securing rod 20 is in a rotationally fixed connection at the ends of the two links 21, which hold the securing rod 20 between them at the ends, the type of fastening being recognizable, for example, in FIG. 7.
- the square bolt 28 shown in FIG. 7 is inserted into the interior of the square tube and has a constriction 29 into which the securing rod 20 engages with a bead 25 for fastening purposes.
- the bolt 29 with its square cross-section also extends through a corresponding opening 26 and over its with Nem screw end 31 is screwed using a washer 32 abutting the outside of the handlebar 21, a nut 33. In any case, a rotationally fixed attachment of the securing rod 20 to the handlebar 21 is generated.
- one or more lugs 30 are attached in a rotationally fixed position, which have the profile shape shown in FIGS. 3 to 7 and are made of plastic, in particular polyamide. 3 to 6, the lugs 30 have a banana-shaped profile and are in one piece with a guide sleeve 34 with which they enclose the securing rod 20 and are longitudinally displaceable thereon.
- a defined longitudinal position of the lugs 30 on the securing rod can be achieved if necessary by clamping, riveting or gluing.
- the nose 30 projects radially from the securing rod 20. About the handlebar 21, the nose 30 is made pivotable with respect to the support rod 10 and can now be brought into different positions, each of which is of special importance.
- the concave longitudinal edge 38 of the handlebar 21 is also provided with a projection 39 which, as will be explained in more detail in connection with FIG. 6, provides support functions in the other end position of the securing rod 20.
- the securing rod 20 is in its locked position, where it is folded as close as possible to the carrying rod 10. This situation is also shown in Fig.2. Now the hooks 35 of the hangers 36 are fixed and can no longer be lifted off or unintentionally fall off the support bar when the latter is shaken. This position is initially determined by the fact that the handlebar 21 has been largely folded around the support rod 10, so that the aforementioned projection 39 on its concave long side 38 can be supported on the upper side 43 of the support rod 10.
- the square opening 26 used to hold the securing rod 20 at its end is brought to the opposite side of the support rod 10 with respect to the mentioned pivot axis 23 and is located with respect to the dash-dotted boundary line 40 which defines the pivot axis 23 with the center of the circular support rod 10 connects, in an additional guided position.
- the projection 39 on the handlebar 21 ensures a defined distance of the securing rod 20 with respect to the surface of the support rod 10. This small distance prevents the clothes hanger hooks 35 from falling off.
- This locking position of the locking rod 20 is further characterized in that the nose with its concave ge curved inner side 41 engages behind the support rod 10 on its underside 42 and presses in the direction of the projection 39 on the upper side 43 of the support rod 10. This. Pressing can be read from the height distance 44 between the projection 39 and the inside 41 of the nose 20 if one compares it with the corresponding height distance 44 'in the initial situation of FIG. 3 with the security rod 20 in the release position.
- the height distance 44 now corresponds to the outer diameter of the circular tube profile of the support rod 10, which is why the concave inside 41 of the curved nose 30 is expediently approximately the same as the circumferential circle of the support rod profile.
- This deflection of the securing rod 20 can be read from the bending section 46 shown in FIG. 6. So much that must be stuck in the guide sleeve 34 of the nose 30 de section of the rod 20 have bent out opposite its end stuck in the fastening opening 26 of the handlebar 21. This distance 46 is thus based on the prior g e-added suspension properties of the security bar 20 used, a measure of the effective in blocking position retaining force. This ensures an automatic locking of the securing rod 20 in the blocking position shown in FIG. 6. It is also worth noting that in this locked position the bend 46 takes place in the direction of the profile side 47 leading in the pivoting movement 49. All of this is significant in comparison with the previous mode of operation for the pivoting movement of the security rod 20, which will now be discussed.
- the securing rod 20 can be pivoted about the pivot axis 23 mentioned in the sense of the arrow 49 shown.
- the rod ends fixed at the free end of the handlebar 21 are fixed in their pivoting direction.
- the section of the securing rod 20 that carries the nose 30, on the other hand, can deflect during the further pivoting because of the rod elasticity mentioned.
- the curved shape of the outside 50 of the nose 30 on the one hand and the curvature of the peripheral region 51 of the support rod 10 on the other hand are responsible for this evasive movement.
- the securing rod 20 bends out on the section carrying the nose 30.
- the deflection takes place radially outwards with respect to the swivel axis 23 pointing profile side 48, which becomes particularly clear in the movement phase shown in FIG. 5.
- FIG. 5 shows approximately the maximum of the rod deflection in a certain pivoting movement phase, where the nose 30 has moved along to the end of the mentioned peripheral region 51 of the support rod 10, the support point on the outer convex control curve 50 of the nose 30 always going to the tip 52 the nose 30 has wandered.
- This state is shown approximately in FIG. 5.
- the fastening opening 26 in the handlebar 21 on the one hand and the section of the securing rod 20 fixed to the nose 30 there is now approximately the maximum deflection which is due to the considerable length of the bending path 46 'shown in FIG. is readable.
- the shape of the rod in this bend is shown in Fig. 5 only indicated by dash-dotted lines.
- this bend 46 has occurred around the already mentioned radially outwardly directed profile side 48 of the square tube of the securing rod 20 when this bending direction is related to the pivot axis 23.
- the support point between the tip 52 of the nose 30 and the circumference 51 of the support rod 10 is located approximately on the boundary line 40 already mentioned, which connects the mentioned pivot axis 23 to the center of the support rod 10. There is approximately a dead center position.
- FIGS. 8 and 9 An exemplary embodiment of the device according to the invention is schematically illustrated in the exemplary embodiment in FIGS. 8 and 9, the same reference numerals as in the previous case being used to designate the same components, but with a dash (') to distinguish them.
- An essential difference consists first of all in that the securing rod 20 'there is made pivotable about an axis 23' via a handlebar (not shown in any more detail) which is arranged within the cross-sectional profile of the support rod 10 'and in the present case even coaxially with the longitudinal center line of the support rod 10
- the support rod 10 ' is of non-uniform design here because it has a profile elevation in the angular range of the pivoting marked by the rotation arrow 49' 55 has.
- the support rod could also have other profile shapes. So it would be grateful to bring the locking position of the security rod in other angular areas to the hanging coat hanger hook 35 'by appropriate recesses. For example, the blocked position in the above ren apex of the support rod 10 'be brought, which is why you would then provide a profile recess.
- the profile elevations 55 or the depressions 56, 57 do not need to go over the entire length of the support rod, rather it is sufficient to provide them in the length ranges which ensure the interaction with the nose 30 'when the rod 20' is pivoted.
- eccentric pieces could also be inserted into the support rod 10 ', which has the desired curve shape in order to control the deflection of the securing rod 20' in the required angular ranges of the pivoting.
Abstract
Description
The invention is directed to a device for securing clothes hangers to support rods. Such support rods are preferably arranged in transport containers, such as trucks, wagons, or containers. The hangers are hung with their hooks on the support rods and are to be prevented by the device from falling off, which could result from the movements during transport.
For this reason, a safety rod which is essentially parallel to the support rod and is pivotable between two positions is provided in devices of this type. In a first release position pivoted away from the supporting rod, the securing rod is moved so far that the clothes hangers can be freely suspended or removed from the supporting rod with their hooks. This is the case when loading or unloading the transport container equipped with the carrying rods. In the transport state of the container, however, the securing rod is pivoted into a blocking position folded against the support rod, where the hooks of the clothes hangers are held on the support rod so that they cannot be lifted off and as immovably as possible. Furthermore it is crucial in these devices to reliably lock the locking position of the safety rod so that during the movements occurring during transport the safety rod does not stand out and loses its retaining function on the hooks on the hangers. For this locking special components are always required, which require additional handling, which takes a long time.
In the simplest case, tapes or straps are used to lock the blocking position, with which the folded safety rod is tied to the support rod. A lot of time is required to close or loosen the straps or straps, especially since several connections to the folded security rod, which are distributed over the length of a support rod, are required.
In devices with not pure pivoting mobility of their security rod, which require a complicated storage of the security rod for a retracting movement of the security rod between its release position and locking position (DE-PS 25 33 647), the additional locking means consisted of spring clips or eyelet-pin couplings between the safety rod and the support rod, apart from the work required to set and deactivate these separate locking means, a certain sequence of movements of the safety rod had to be observed and a complicated operation had to be learned. The locking position of the security rod was not always reliably secured with these locking means.
The invention has for its object to develop a cost-saving device of the type mentioned in the preamble of claim 1, the one Easy handling of the security rod is only required and is still characterized by an extremely reliable locking of the locking position of the security rod.
This is achieved according to the invention in that the securing rod carries radially projecting, non-rotatable lugs, a circumferential region of the supporting rod is arranged as an obstacle in the middle of the path of movement of the lugs when the securing rod is pivoted, and the securing rod forms a flexurally elastic member which forms an obstacle at the transition of the lugs Maximum of its rod deflection passes.
In the invention, the securing rod has the additional new function of serving as a clamping element for locking its own blocking position. With the exception of the noses that are non-rotatably attached to the securing rod, no additional elements are required for the locking process; one comes out with the device with the support rod and the pivotably mounted safety rod. There are also no special movement sequences to be observed in order to move from the release position of the security rod into the locking position of the locking position. It is sufficient to carry out the usual pivoting movement of the securing rod, because the nose located on it automatically interacts with the supporting rod when pivoting, so that a reliable locking is achieved in its final blocking position. Nothing additional needs to be arranged for the locking to become effective or ineffective. When pivoting, the securing rod strikes a circumferential region of the supporting rod placed in its path, which apparently stands in the way of the further pivoting of the securing rod as an obstacle. But then the flexurally elastic effectiveness of the security rod begins to develop. The one on the security rod stuck noses cause the securing rod to bend more and more as the pivoting continues until a so-called "dead center position" of the securing rod is reached in relation to its pivot axis. In this position, the nose, which is guided along the circumference of the support rod, has brought the area of the securing rod sitting on it to a maximum distance from its pivot bearing axis, as a result of which a maximum deflection of the rod is achieved. From d 4 onwards, the pivoting of the safety rod approaches; the section of the safety rod that sits on the nose again a little to the swivel axis, which is why the rod deflection decreases again and thus the tension within the rod is relieved. Stops on the handlebars, which generate the pivotability of the securing rod with respect to its pivot axis, ultimately determine the blocking position of the securing rod at the end of its pivoting movement, where the nose engages behind the obstacle formed by the peripheral region of the supporting rod. The security rod is in an "over-center position" from which it cannot be moved back in the direction of its pivoting position releasing the supporting rod. For this purpose, it would again be necessary to exert a tension in the securing rod, where the lugs are lifted over the circumferential regions of the support rod which are opposed as an obstacle. There is thus automatically a reliable locking of the security rod in the locked position.
In the locked position, the safety rod in its deflection could have deformed back so far that it was folded onto the supporting rod almost without tension. It is, however, more favorable to leave the securing rod with sufficient residual tension in the locked position in order to safely rattle out the rattling movements of the securing rod on the supporting rod. The extent of the tension depends first of all on the bending elasticity of the security rod itself. Although the support rod could experience a counter-deflection due to the lugs supporting it on the rod, which includes these effects in the tensions of this self-locking system, it is more expedient for the reliable mounting of the clothes hangers to assume an essentially rigid support rod, if at all can sag due to the weight loads of the hangers suspended from it, but does not undergo any noteworthy deformation due to the lugs running over them. This load-related sagging of the support rod has not inconsiderable difficulties in holding the hooks of the hangers in the known devices, because there have been too large distances between the sagging support rod and the unaffected safety rod in its folded position. These difficulties are also with the invention eliminated, because because of the lugs engaging behind the support rod in the locked position, sagging of the support rod is automatically transferred to the securing rod in a shape-like manner. It is particularly advantageous, however, to let the above-mentioned locking rod deflection of the securing rod run essentially in the same direction as the load-dependent sagging of the supporting rod, because the bending of the securing rod then takes place from the outset in the same direction as the sagging of the supporting rod. The more the support rod sags, the more the safety rod has to bend and the higher the tension effect it exerts in this self-locking system. The locking position of the safety rod is locked even more reliably when the support rod sags.
The resulting tension of the security rod also depends on the profile of the nose sitting on the security rod from which expediently has a profile that is different on both sides. A control curve is provided on a profile side that meets the support rod when the securing rod is pivoted, which ensures the extent of the desired deflection of the securing rod. When the aforementioned "dead center position" is exceeded, the support point of the nose on the support rod circumference migrates over the nose end into a recess adapted to the profile outline on the other profile side of the nose, which provides a sudden relief of tension in the securing rod when this profile point the support rod in the locked position engages behind. This results in a kind of "snap movement" when the locking bar reaches the locked position with respect to the support rod. This causes the locking position to be locked reliably.
Finally, the extent of the tension of the securing rod can also be changed retrospectively for a given construction if one changes the number and the distribution of the lugs having a predetermined profile along the securing rod. It is advisable to move the lugs longitudinally on the security rod, which is possible without additional security measures if you use an angular profile for the security rod, for example, to form it as a square. The closer one moves the nose to the handlebar located at the end of the securing rod for a given construction, which ensures that the securing rod can be pivoted, the "harder" is the suspension in the system; the more the nose is brought into the center of the support rod for a given construction, the "softer" the springing that arises when the securing rod is bent out. It can be seen that the elastic properties of the rod deflection depend on the distances between the lugs on the safety rod with respect to the handlebars or to each other.
Such an angular profile of the securing rod also contributes to an increase in the locking if the rod deflection is allowed to jump from one profile edge to another during the transition at the obstacle.
The support rod can form an obstacle in basically two different ways, which causes the above-mentioned tension-generating deflection of the securing rod, whereby if necessary, both measures can also be used at the same time. The simplest thing is to arrange the pivot axis of the securing rod outside the cross section of the supporting rod and to place the support rod with part of the cross-sectional profile in the middle of the pivoting path of the securing rod, because then the support rod can have a symmetrical cross-sectional profile, for example a circular tube. In the other case, the pivot axis, which would be favorable for the overall height of the device, lay inside the cross section of the support rod, in particular arrange the pivot axis coaxially with the longitudinal center line of the support rod, if the support rod is given an asymmetrical cross-sectional profile which has a profile elevation which as an obstacle in the path of movement of the noses when pivoting the security rod. Further advantages and measures of the invention are described in the claims, the drawings and the following description. Exercise can be seen in which two embodiments of the invention are shown.

The device comprises a
The
The device also includes a securing
The
On the securing
First of all, there is the release position of the
In the case of FIG. 6, the securing
The
This locking position of the locking
This deflection of the securing
Starting from the release position in FIG. 3, the securing
Es liegt etwa eine Totpunktlage vor.FIG. 5 shows approximately the maximum of the rod deflection in a certain pivoting movement phase, where the
An exemplary embodiment of the device according to the invention is schematically illustrated in the exemplary embodiment in FIGS. 8 and 9, the same reference numerals as in the previous case being used to designate the same components, but with a dash (') to distinguish them. An essential difference consists first of all in that the securing rod 20 'there is made pivotable about an axis 23' via a handlebar (not shown in any more detail) which is arranged within the cross-sectional profile of the support rod 10 'and in the present case even coaxially with the longitudinal center line of the
There, the security rod 20 'is moved out of the area of the clothes hanger hooks 35', which is why they can be freely suspended and suspended from the support rod 10 '. This release position is achieved in this exemplary embodiment not by stops, but by a similar locking position to the blocking position in FIG. 9, because a profile recess 57 is also provided on this side, into which the nose 30 'falls while releasing the securing rod 20'. Since residual stress is not important here, the profile recess 57 can also be formed deeper than the 56 located on the opposite side.
It goes without saying that the support rod could also have other profile shapes. So it would be grateful to bring the locking position of the security rod in other angular areas to the hanging
It is thus possible with the invention to achieve a reliable locking of the locking position of the securing rod by choosing a curve shape between the supporting rod and the nose relative to the pivoting movement, which ensures a minimum of the bending stress of the rod in the desired angular position reached a stable blocking position. For the handling, only a simple swiveling movement of the safety rod about its swiveling axis is to be carried out. All radial movements that lead to the targeted control of the rod tension take place automatically due to the interacting curves. The operator need not pay particular attention to anything. Due to the aforementioned snap movement when the locking position is reached, the exact holding position of the security rod is set automatically as soon as the operator has slightly exceeded the dead center position. Incorrect operation is therefore definitely excluded; the relevant locking position of the security rod is set automatically.
Would one draw in the locked position in the illustrated exemplary embodiments, the line of action of the force acting at the support point between the nose and the support rod and the resulting "lever arm length" towards the swivel axis, this would result in a torque acting in the closing direction, which tends to press the safety rod against the support rod. This force is determined by the normal force in any case, but could also result as a total force from this normal force and an effective frictional force. The resulting locking torque is a ß case manually expended in actuating opening torque in the opposite direction. So there is a self-locking system already mentioned at the beginning.
