Description

The invention relates to a shoe, in particular a mountain or hiking shoe. Such mountain or hiking shoes generally have to be very stable and are usually equipped with soles made of hard rubber or plastic. In order to increase the wear resistance of such mountain and hiking shoes, it has also been proposed to design the upper as a shell, in particular a plastic shell, which naturally increases the stiffness of the shoe. The appearance with such shoes causes relatively hard blows to the leg, especially when going downhill, which leads to signs of fatigue and increase the risk of injury. It has therefore already been proposed for relatively stiff footwear to arrange an elastic sole insert on the insole, which reduces such impacts. It has already been proposed to arrange springs which cooperate with the insole in the heel area and which were arranged in recesses of the heel. Common disadvantage of such designs is that the internal volume of the shoe is increased with each compression and therefore the foot is not held securely inside the shoe, but "floats".

The invention now aims to provide a shoe of the type mentioned at the outset, with which shock absorption is made possible when it occurs and nevertheless the foot is securely held in the shoe in every phase. To solve this problem, the shoe, in particular mountaineering and hiking shoes, with a rubber or plastic outsole and a shaft preferably formed by a shell, in which the insole is resiliently supported against the outsole, is essentially characterized in that the heel of the outsole has a slot extending substantially parallel to the sole plane, which extends from the rear end of the heel over at least half the length of the heel and is arranged at a distance from the insole and the outsole surface of the heel. Characterized in that a slot is arranged at a distance from the insole and from the outsole in the heel, a deformability of the heel area is permitted without there being an increase in the interior of the shoe. This slot extends from the rear end of the heel and must extend over at least half the length of the heel in order to allow sufficient deformability for damping hard impacts with the relatively rigid heel materials commonly used.

Preferably, the design is such that the slot is filled, preferably entirely, with an insert made of a material that is more compressible than that of the outsole material. Filling this slot with an insert prevents snow and debris from entering and it is an insert that seals the slot Fills in completely, particularly preferred because snow entering could significantly affect the deformability of the slot.

According to the invention, the outsole is made of a material with a hardness of 75 to 95 ShoreA, and the insert is made of a material with a hardness of 40 to 60, preferably 50 ShoreA. Such a combination of materials for the sole and the insert combines the requirements for high wear resistance and nevertheless conveys a high level of comfort due to the slot provided in the heel area with such an insert.

According to the invention, the height of the slot extends over 20 to 30%, preferably 25%, of the height of the heel. This slot height ensures sufficient deformability, in particular when an insert is arranged with a material with a hardness of approximately 50 ShoreA. In order to keep the deformations in the area of the shaft as small as possible, the lower boundary of the slot facing the outsole is preferably arranged at a height of 30 to 60%, preferably 50%, of the heel.

According to the invention, the slot can extend in the longitudinal direction of the heel over 55 to 75%, preferably 60 to 65%, of the length of the heel, the best wearing comfort being found at values between 62 and 64% of the length of the heel.

Die Länge des Schlitzes a beträgt 64 % der Länge des Absatzes b.The invention is explained below with reference to an embodiment shown in the drawing. With 1 a mountain shoe is shown, the shaft 2 formed by a plastic shell is and on which a plastic sole 3 is welded or glued. The outsole is labeled 4. Eyelets 5 are shown in the instep area, which serve to accommodate a lacing. The upper shaft part 6 is pivotably articulated on a pivot axis 7 in order to take account of the relatively rigid shell material and to facilitate entry. The sections of the shaft designated 8 consist of easily deformable material, in particular leather. In the area of the heel 9, a slot 0 is provided, which is arranged at a distance from the running column 4 of the heel 9 and the insole 11. The slot 10 extends in the longitudinal direction of the paragraph 9 over a length a. The length of the paragraph is denoted by b. The length of the slot a is 64% of the length of the shoulder b.

The slot 10 is filled with an insert 11 with a hardness of 50 ShoreA. The insert consists of modified rubber, in particular of rubber mixed with blowing agents.

The lower boundary 12 of the slot 10 facing the outsole 4 of the heel 9 is arranged at a distance c from this outsole, which corresponds to approximately 60 the height d of the heel. The clear width e of the slot is dimensioned such that the slot upper edge 13 is still at a distance from the insole 11, this distance corresponding to 20% of the height d of the heel. In this way, an Ver - avoided enlargement of the internal volume of the shaft 2 in compressing the liner. 11
