Dabei sollen die die Fließ-Schwenktrommel durchwandernden Werkstücke nicht nur in Längsrichtung entlang der Trommel gleiten, sondern auch sich um sich selbst drehen, "überschlagen", damit sie an ihrer gesamten Oberfläche von dem Strahlmittel getroffen werden, welches von den Schleuderrädern durch die Mantelöffnung in die Trommel abgestrahlt wird. Die in den Figuren dargestellte Fließ-Schwenktrommel weist in Längsrichtung eine Einlauftrommel 1, daran anschließend eine Strahltrommel 2 und wiederum daran anschließend eine Siebtrommel 3 auf. Die Fließ-Schwenktrommel ist - was in der Zeichnung nicht dargestellt ist - in Längsrichtung geneigt, so daß Werkstücke beim Schwenken der Fließ-Schwenktrommel auf natürliche Weise vom Eingang der Einlauftrommel 1 bis zum Ausgang der Siebtrommel 3 gefördert werden. Die Einlauftrommel 1 ist zur Aufgabeseite hin nach Art eines Trichters 4 verengt. An der der Strahltrommel 2 zugewandten Stirnseite weist die Einlauftrommel 1 einen Flanschring 5 auf. Auch die Siebtrommel 3 weist auf der der Strahltrommel 2 zugewandten Stirnseite einen Flanschring 6 auf; daran anschließend zur Auslaufseite hin einen Stützring 7. An jeder Stirnseite der Strahltrommel 2 ist außen an ihrem Mantel 10 ein Laufring 11 vorgesehen. Der Laufring 11 an der einen Stirnseite ist mit dem Flanschring 5 der Einlauftrommel 1, der an der anderen Stirnseite mit dem Flanschring 6 der Siebtrommel 3 sowie dem zugehörigen Stützring 7 mittels Schraubenbolzen 12 verschraubt. Der Boden der Strahltrommel 2 ist mit Längsdurchbrüchen 13 versehen. Im oberen Teil der Strahltrommel 2 ist in dem Mantel 10 eine Mantelöffnung 14 freigelassen, durch die von Schleuderrädern austretende Strahlmittel auf die in der Strahltrommel 2 transportierten, geschwenkten und gewendeten Werkstücke treffen. Seitlich ist die Mantelöffnung 14 im Bereich ihrer beiden Seitenkanten durch je einen I-Träger 15 verstärkt. Andere Verstärkungen sind möglich.A
Der Mantel 10 ist auf seiner der Mantelöffnung 14 gegenüberliegenden Seite mit einer Wendestufe 16 versehen. Die Wendestufe 16 erstreckt sich im Ausführungsbeispiel zwischen den Innenflächen der Laufringe 11. Sie kann sich über die gesamte Länge der Strahltrommel 2 erstrecken. Als Wendestufe kann auch eine Wendeleiste oder eine Wendekante vorgesehen sein. Maßgebend ist, daß beim Schwenken der Strahltrommel 2 an die Wendestufe, -leiste oder -kante gelangende Werkstücke bei Vergrößerung des Schwenkwinkels nicht einfach entlang der Innenfläche des Mantels 10 weiterrutschen, sondern sich überschlagen, so daß ein anderer Teil ihrer Oberfläche der Mantelöffnung 14 zugewandt ist, was gleichmäßiges Bestrahlen der Werkstücke gewährleistet. Die Wendestufe 16 ist im Ausführungsbeispiel als in den Mantel 10 nach außen gedrückte im wesentlichen V-förmige Rinne ausgebildet. Die eine Schenkelfläche 17 der Wendestufe 16 geht tangential in den Mantel 10 über; die andere Schenkelfläche 18, die zu der ersten Schenkelfläche 17 im wesentlichen senkrecht steht, geht mit einem Knick in den Mantel über.The
