Abstract

Bei einer Brennstoffeinspritzvorrichtung für Brennkraft­ maschinen mit einer Brennstoffzufuhrsteuereinrichtung und einem Einspritzventil, das einen an eine Brennstofförderein­ richtung über eine durch eine Brennstoffabsperrvorrichtung absperrbare Brennstoffzuleitung angeschlossenen Brenn­ stoffvorlageraum und eine mittels einer elektrohydraulischen Steuereinrichtung taktweise in Öffnungs- und Schließ­ stellung bewegbare Düsennadel aufweist, ist zur Über­ wachung der Tätigkeit und Feststellung eines Störungsfalles derselben erfindungsgemäß eine Düsennadelhub-­ Kontrolleinrichtung vorgesehen. Diese besteht aus einem mit der Düsennadel zusammenwirkenden Nadelhubindikator mit Steuerschaltung sowie einer daran angeschlossenen, ihrer­ seits mit einer Alarmeinrichtung und oder der Brennstoffab­ sperrvorrichtung verbundenen, elektronische Auswertor­ gane aufweisenden Überwachungseinrichtung. Die Überwa­ chungseinrichtung ist dabei in der Lage, praktisch alle an der Düsennadel und deren Bewegungsablauf möglicherweise entstehende, durch den Nadelhubindikator signalisierte Stö­ rungsfälle auszuwerten und im Störungsfalle ein Notstopp-­ Signal abzugeben, durch das entweder nur der oder die Zylin­ der mit dem eine defekte Düsennadel aufweisenden Ein­ spritzventil oder alle Zylinder der Brennkraftmaschine abschaltbar sind. Außerdem wird durch das Notstopp-Signal eine nachgeschaltete Alarmeinrichtung aktiviert, die exakt den Ort der Störung signalisiert und somit eine rasche Scha­ densbehebung vor Ort ermöglicht.
