Claims (5)

1. Joining element for joining a writing or drawing device, particularly a tube pen (4), to the leg of a drawing compass, with a stud (12) fitting to the drawing leg (5) and a receptacle (11) to receive the writing or drawing device, thereby characterized that the receptacle (11) is a cylindrical holder guided by a thread of coarse pitch within the stud (12) without selflocking such, that the receptacle (11) may be automatically lowered to the drawing board due to its weight or by a spring, and that means (19') are provided for locking the shiftable receptacle (11) to the stud (12).
3. Joining element according to claim 1, thereby characterized that the means for locking the shiftable receptacle (11) to the stud (12) consist of a cylindric extension (11') of the receptacle (11) encompassing the stud (12) and a cap (19") fitting to the extension (11') and rotatable thereon, the cap (19") having a bore (27) excentric to its axis and the stud (12) fitting into the bore (27).
4. Joining element according to claim 1 or 3, characterized by a range of displacement of the receptacle (11) such, that at minimum spread of the drawing compass the drawing point (3) of the writing or drawing device may be lifted above as well as lowered below the compass point (1
5. Joining element according to claim 4, thereby characterized that the drawing point (3) of the writing or drawing device is maintained on the drawing board by the weight of device and shiftable receptacle (11) or by a spring, when the compass is held in its working position.
