Deswegen wird auf einem zusätzlichen Lochstreifen in regelmäßigen Zeitabständen von etwa 5 Minuten die Urzeit ausgedruckt. Beim Auftreten von Signalen läuft der Lochstreifen schneller durch die Registriereinrichtung, das Zeitintervall bis zum Ausdrucken der Uhrzeit ändert sich dagegen nicht.
