Definitions
- the invention is based on a rod or telescopic antenna according to the preamble of the main claim.
- a pivotable rod antenna for vehicles is already known (DE-GM 1 606 115), in which the antenna rod is carried by a base fastened to the vehicle via a lockable, two-part joint.
- the joint parts have toothings on their mutually facing sides, which interlock when a screw connecting both joint parts is tightened.
- the known antenna has the disadvantage that a special tool is required for swiveling the antenna and subsequently setting the antenna angular position.
- Another significant disadvantage is that the antenna rod can be removed by loosening the articulation, for example, before the vehicle enters a car wash, but that the articulation part remaining on the vehicle creates a risk of an accident.
- a pivotable rod or telescopic antenna is also known (DE-OS 27 08 594), in which the foot piece fastened to a vehicle body carries a swivel joint with a dome-shaped joint shell in which an approximately circular disc is rotatably mounted.
- the disc contains a continuous threaded hole perpendicular to the disc axis into which a threaded bolt that is firmly connected to the antenna rod can be screwed.
- the threaded bolt protrudes from the lower end of the bore, as a result of which the disk with the screwed antenna rod is clamped in the joint shell at a preselected angle of inclination.
- a pivot joint with these-features has the disadvantage that SS is damaged by repeated loosening and subsequent firm screwing of the antenna rod or -teleskops the free end of the threaded bolt and that the inside of the dome-shaped joint shell is deformed by the free end of the threaded projection over time , so that a secure locking of the antenna rod or telescope is no longer possible.
- the rod or telescopic antenna according to the invention with the characterizing features of the main claim has the advantage that the threaded bolt screwed into the swivel joint cannot be damaged at its free end, that the inside of the joint shell cannot be deformed by the free end of the threaded bolt and that the dome-shaped joint shell is relatively easy to manufacture.
- Fig. 1 10 denotes a section of a vehicle body on which a foot piece 11 is attached.

Abstract
Description
The invention is based on a rod or telescopic antenna according to the preamble of the main claim.
A pivotable rod antenna for vehicles is already known (DE-GM 1 606 115), in which the antenna rod is carried by a base fastened to the vehicle via a lockable, two-part joint. The joint parts have toothings on their mutually facing sides, which interlock when a screw connecting both joint parts is tightened. The known antenna has the disadvantage that a special tool is required for swiveling the antenna and subsequently setting the antenna angular position. Another significant disadvantage is that the antenna rod can be removed by loosening the articulation, for example, before the vehicle enters a car wash, but that the articulation part remaining on the vehicle creates a risk of an accident.
A pivotable rod or telescopic antenna is also known (DE-OS 27 08 594), in which the foot piece fastened to a vehicle body carries a swivel joint with a dome-shaped joint shell in which an approximately circular disc is rotatably mounted. The disc contains a continuous threaded hole perpendicular to the disc axis into which a threaded bolt that is firmly connected to the antenna rod can be screwed. When the antenna rod is screwed in, the threaded bolt protrudes from the lower end of the bore, as a result of which the disk with the screwed antenna rod is clamped in the joint shell at a preselected angle of inclination.
A pivot joint with these-features has the disadvantage that SS is damaged by repeated loosening and subsequent firm screwing of the antenna rod or -teleskops the free end of the threaded bolt and that the inside of the dome-shaped joint shell is deformed by the free end of the threaded projection over time , so that a secure locking of the antenna rod or telescope is no longer possible.
The rod or telescopic antenna according to the invention with the characterizing features of the main claim has the advantage that the threaded bolt screwed into the swivel joint cannot be damaged at its free end, that the inside of the joint shell cannot be deformed by the free end of the threaded bolt and that the dome-shaped joint shell is relatively easy to manufacture.
Advantageous further developments and improvements of the antenna specified in the main claim are possible through the measures listed in the subclaims. It is particularly advantageous if the end face of one end of the cylindrical swivel part is adapted to the outer contour of the swivel joint and if the other end of the swivel part and the part of the bore adjacent to this end are offset such that the swivel part is held axially immovably in the opening of the swivel joint becomes. In this way, an operationally reliable swivel joint is obtained in which, even when the antenna is unscrewed from the swivel joint, only a smooth, strongly rounded profile of slight increase protrudes from the vehicle body.
- Fig. 1 eine perspektivische Ansicht einer erfindungsgemäßen Teleskopantene,
- 1 is a perspective view of a telescopic antenna according to the invention,
- Fig. 2 is a side view of the swivel part with screwed antenna telescope, partly in section, and
- Fig. 3 shows a horizontal section through the dome-shaped joint shell according to Fig. 1 with the antenna rod in a vertical position.
In Fig. 1, 10 denotes a section of a vehicle body on which a
The
Above the threaded
So that the
The
The
The flange-
