Definitions
- the invention relates to an actuating device according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Such devices are usually used for actuating so-called snap switches, a contact being provided at the free end of the leaf spring, which works together with a stationary counter-contact.
- the object of the invention is to provide an actuating device which can be used both for electrical and pneumatic switching elements and which can exert higher actuating forces than conventional snap-action switches without additional outlay on equipment.
- This object is achieved by the invention characterized in claim 1.
- the leaf spring that is used here it is not the leaf spring that is used here, but the dead center spring serving as part of the same and causing the snap movement to generate the actuating force.
- larger actuating forces can be applied using the known snap spring elements produced in large numbers and thus reliably actuate both electrical and pneumatic switching elements.
- a leaf spring 2 is clamped on one side, for example with its fastening end 3 riveted to a housing shoulder 5 with the aid of a rivet 4.
- the middle leg 6 is shortened and pre-stressed into a notch 7 of a bracket 8 also held on the shoulder 5 by means of the: rivet 4.
- This arcuately curved dead center spring stands opposite the switching element to be actuated, which in the present case is a two-armed rocker 9, which carries a closing body 12 and 13 on each of the two lever arms 10 and 11.
- the two closing bodies each face a valve seat 14 or 15 and thus either close one or the other passage.
- the leaf spring 2 rests with its free end on the bracket 8, which determines its upper limit position.
- the actuating slide 16 guided in two lateral rails 23 presses the side legs 24 of the leaf spring 2 down and this passes through the dead center position, it suddenly jumps down, driven by the force of the dead center spring 6.
- the dead center spring 6 actuates via the extension 18 the rocker 9 which can be pivoted about the axis 19 fixed to the housing, so that the valve 13, 15 is now closed and the other valve 12, 14 is opened.
- the contact 20 provided at the free end of the leaf spring 2 remains unused in the present application. However, it can cooperate with a mating contact provided on the housing shoulder 21 or can be replaced by a rubber stopper to dampen the switching movement.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to an actuating device according to the preamble of
- Fig. 1 shows a section through such an actuator parallel to the leaf spring and
- F ig. 2 shows an orthogonal section at the section line II-II.
In a
In the rest position shown, the
As soon as a tappet, e.g. a temperature sensor, acting on the actuating
