Description

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Trainingsgerät für Tennisspieler.The invention relates to a training device for tennis players.

The spread of tennis has recently increased considerably, but what has been achieved is still not fully satisfactory. One of the reasons why access to this sport is still denied to many interested people is the comparatively high training costs. The coach hourly rates are substantial and the investment in ball throwing machines, which can widely replace a coach in striking exercises, is substantial. On the other hand, practicing on a wall already requires certain skills that the beginner generally does not have. Both learning with a trainer, working with a ball machine and playing on a wall also require favorable weather conditions, which are often not the case.

The invention has for its object to provide a training device that is simple in construction and can be produced at low cost and that allows the performance of striking exercises even in living rooms. This object is achieved by a training device, which is characterized by a rod which is pivotally mounted in the region of its one end and carries a ball at its other end, which can be converted from a stroke position determined by a fixing stop to a rebound position from the it is automatically moved back to the striking position by a spring element.

The training device according to the invention has the advantage that with its help the ball is always transferred to a predetermined optimal striking position. The tennis student gets used to the correct ball position for the shot and also has the opportunity to practice the correct basic movements for the execution of the shot.

  • Fig. 1 die perspektivische Ansicht eines Trainingsgerätes;
  • Fig. 2 eine Einzelheit eines abgewandeten Trainingsgerätes und
The invention is explained below with reference to an embodiment shown in the accompanying drawings. Show it:
  • Figure 1 is a perspective view of a training device.
  • Fig. 2 shows a detail of a modified training device and
  • Fig. 3 shows a detail of a training device with an adjustable fixing stop.

In Fig. 1 are 1 and 2 longitudinal bars and 3 and 4 cross bars of a frame which has at one end two columns 5 and 6, which are connected to each other by a spring element 7 formed by an elastic band. On the side opposite the columns 5 and 6 there is a column 8, at the upper end of which a fixing stop 9 is attached. In the middle of the crossbar 4, a pivot bearing 10 is arranged, on which a rod 11 is pivotally mounted. This rod 11 consists of a rigid elastic material. He's wearing his free end of a ball 12, which preferably consists of a foam plastic.

When using the device, the ball performs movements in a plane defined by the swivel bearing 10 in the direction of the double arrow 13, namely that it is struck from the starting position shown in dashed lines by a stroke with a tennis racket into the position shown in full lines. Here, the spring element 7 deforms in order to then throw the rod back into its starting position. A rebound from the starting position is prevented by the fixing stop 9.

It proves to be particularly expedient if the frame for the rod 11 consists of a plurality of parts which can be plugged together, as is indicated in FIG. 2. 2 shows a longitudinal rod 1, which is connected to a crossbar 4 by means of an elbow 14, the projections 15 and 16 of the elbow being insertable into the ends of the box-shaped longitudinal and transverse rods, where they can be frictionally engaged or by suitable means Spring elements are held.

In order to be able to change the position of the ball 12, it proves to be expedient to manufacture the column 8 from two telescopically interlocking parts 17 and 18, the part 17 being able to be pushed more or less far into the part 18 and through in the desired position a locking element 19 can be locked.
