Durch die erfindungsgemäße Maßnahme wird eine Türklinke oder ein Türband geschaffen, das aus normalem Holz hergestellt werden kann, d.h. nicht aus Furnierblättern gepreßt werden muß. In das Holzbauteil wird eine zylindrische Bohrung eingebohrt und in diese ein aus Metall oder Kunststoff bestehender Verstärkungseinsatz eingesetzt. Der Verstärkungseinsatz weist als wesentliches Merkmal der Erfindung an seinem äußeren Ende einen hohlkehlenartigen, zum freien Ende hin geschlossenen Ringraum auf, der mit seinem äußeren Schenkel in eine Nut im Holzbauteil eingreift. Hierdurch wird das Holzbauteil durch den äußeren Schenkel des Verstärkungseinsatzes verstärkt und kann daher in diesem Bereich nicht ausbrechen, wobei ein unter Umständen durch das Einsetzen des Verstärkungseinsatzes erzeugter Druck wiederum durch den Schenkel, der in der Nut des Holzes sitzt, aufgenommen und ausgeglichen wird.The measure according to the invention creates a door handle or hinge that can be made from normal wood, i.e. does not have to be pressed from veneer sheets. Hierdurch wird ein ringförmiges Festlegen des Verstärkungseinsatzes im Bandlappen erreicht.
