Mit Hilfe der Spannzwingen 22 kann nun, wie ohne weiteres aus der Figur ersichtlich, das zweite Rahmenteil 16 zum Einspannen eines in der Figur gestrichelt eingezeichneten Rahmens 24 gegenüber dem ersten Rahmenteil 10 derart festgezogen werden, dass der Rahmen von allen Seiten her zusammengepresst wird. Durch die Verwendung der Zugstangen 18 wird dabei sichergestellt, dass die Zugkräfte, die in der Figur durch Pfeile dargestellt sind, im Sinne einer ausgeglichenen Belastung aufgeteilt werden können. Die innenseitig angeordneten Winkelstücke 20', 20", mit denen der eingespannte Rahmen 24 in Anlage kommt, garantieren, dass der rechte Winkel des Rahmens 24 beim Einspannen aufrechterhalten wird, d.h., dass die Ecken des eingespannten Rahmens 24 nicht einer den rechten Winkel des Rahmens 24 deformierenden Belastung unterworfen werden.Clamping clamps 22 are arranged on the outwardly projecting sections of the legs 16a, 16b of the second frame part 16 and the pull rod 18, which are supported on the outside of the legs 10a, 10b of the first frame part 10. Claims (5)

1. Clamping frame for making rectangular frames. in particular picture frames, having a first frame part (10) consisting of two pieces (10a, 10b) which are arranged at right angles to one another and are rigidly joined to one another, and two further frame pieces (16a, 16b) which are arranged at right angles to one another and are guided to be displaceable relative to the first frame part (10), in order to form a closed rectangular clamping frame, the two further frame pieces (16a, 16b) projecting outwards beyond the pieces (10a, 10b) of the first frame part (10) and, additionally, tension bars (18) being provided which extend parallel to the pieces (10a, 10b) of the first frame part (10) on the outside thereof and which engage on the projecting sections of the two further frame pieces (16a, 16b), characterised in that the two further frame pieces (16a, 16b) are rigidly joined to one another in order to form a second frame part (16), that the tension bars cross at the corner of the first frame part (10) and that tensioning clamps (22), which can be mounted to the sections, projecting beyond the pieces of the first frame part (10), of the pieces of the second frame part (16) and of the tension bars (18) and are supported on the outside of the pieces of the first frame part (10), are provided for securely clamping the second frame part (16) to the first frame part (10).
2. Clamping frame according to Claim 1, characterised in that the pieces (16a, 16b) of the second frame part (16) are guided in longitudinal etots (14) In the pieces (10a, 10b) of the first frame pert (10).
3. Clamping frame according to Claim 1 or 2, characterised In that the tension bars (18) on the outside of the pieces (10a, 10b) of the first frame part (10) are mounted in guidepieces (20) which are rigidly joined to the first frame part (10).

Clamping frame according to one of Claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the corners of the closed frame formed by the two frame parts (10, 16) are associated with rectangular angle pieces (20', 20") which come into direct contact with the picture frames to be clamped in, the angle pieces (20') associated with the corners of each frame part (10, 16) being rigidly joined to the frame part (10, 16), whilst the two other angle pieces (20") are guided displaceably, preferably in the longitudinal slots (14) for guiding the pieces (16a, 16b) of the second frame part (16), on the pieces (10a, 10b) of the first frame part (10).
5. Clamping frame according to one of Claims 1 to 4, characterised in that a baseplate (12) is provided on which the two frame parts (10, 16) are arranged.
