Definitions
- the invention relates to a piece of furniture with several cushions of the same width, which can optionally be strung together as a couch or folded as seating and whose total length is equal to the length of the couch, in which the floor cushion part is connected by a hinge to the congruent seat cushion part lying on it, on which is a back cushion part, the support surface of which differs from the upper surface of the seat cushion part by the seat depth of the seating furniture, the hinge being attached to the rear upper edge of the floor cushion part, which is loosely or firmly arranged on a lower support frame provided with rollers, which is connected to a is composed of an inner and an outer support frame back support part, the inner support frame is hinged at its lower edge in the vertical position with the lower support frame and has support feet for support in the lying position and the outer support frame men is connected in a hinge-like manner on its upper side in the vertical position to the inner support frame.
- Such furniture is known from US-A-2 257 754 and US-A-2 562 197.
- the floor cushion part is fixedly arranged on the lower support frame, while the other document lies loosely.
- Both pieces of furniture have the disadvantage that they cannot be set up freely in the room or with their backs as room dividers in the apartment because of the sharp protruding back fittings of the folding mechanism and the associated risk of injury.
- Another disadvantage is that the furniture has a large depth, which is due to the complex folding mechanism. This requires large living spaces.
- the mechanism is too complicated and has a large number of hinges or connection points, movable levers and struts, which also includes the entire metal support under the furniture.
- the high basic structure of the furniture has the further disadvantage that the seat and back upholstery parts, because of their low height, if the seat height is to be selected anatomically correctly, can only be equipped with foam rubber padding or the like, which entails the restriction that insufficient spring force is available for very heavy people.
- the furniture can only be installed in corners, niches or built-in walls. This arrangement makes it more difficult that the furniture must first be pulled forward to convert it into the lying position and then it can be folded out to the rear.

- the straps can in turn be releasably connected to the back cushion part in the lying position.
- the back cushion part can have on its backrest surface a wedge-shaped cushion articulated at half a height to a hinge point, which is folded down in the lying position and together with the back cushion part results in a cuboid-shaped cushion with a horizontal lying surface.
- a hinge is provided between the lower support frame and the outer support frame, which has a releasable retaining pivot pin.
- the seating and reclining furniture consists of a floor cushion part 1 and a seat cushion part 2, which are connected to one another at their rear edge by a hinge 4.
- a back cushion part 3 stands on the seat cushion part 2.
- the floor cushion part 1 is arranged on a lower support frame 5 provided with rollers 6.
- the rear support of the upholstery is provided by an outer support frame 8 which, as shown in FIG. 2, can be pulled out into the lying position.
- the outer support frame 8 and the lower support frame 5 are connected by tethers 11. These can be sturdy rubber straps or combined straps when leaning on exert a spring effect on the back cushion part 3.
- an inner support frame 7 is arranged within the outer support frame 8, which has support feet 9 for support in the lying position. Both frames are hinged together.
- the two frames 7, 8 are connected laterally on the lower support frame 5 with hinges. Then, however, the hinge 4 must also be arranged laterally so that the seat cushion part 2 can be folded aside.
- FIG. 3 it is shown that the entire pull-out mechanism, which consists of the frames 5, 7, 8, serves as a support for the cushion parts 1, 2, 3 in the lying position.
- the loosely placed back cushion serving as a head cushion 3 is fixed against slipping by the holding straps 11, which are attached at one end to the outer support frame 8.
- the back cushion part 3 forms the lying cushion.
- a wedge-shaped cushion 14 is articulated at half the height in a hinge 15 on the back cushion part. In the lying position, as shown in FIG. 3, this cushion is folded in the other direction. Both cushions 3, 14 then result in a cuboid structure with a horizontal lying surface.
- the outer support frame 8 is connected by a hinge 16 to the wall part 17, so that rollers on the outer support frame 8 can be omitted and the pull-out mechanism is brought into the pull-out position by simply pulling away from the wall part 17.
- Fig. 4 it is shown that the floor cushion part 1 is not padded onto the lower support frame 5, but rests loosely on this. With this construction, it is possible to fold the pull-out mechanism so that the furniture can be easily transported, for example in a car.
- Fig. 7 shows the corresponding transport position. 5 shows the lying position for FIG. 4. 6, the lower and the outer support frame 5, 8 are connected by hinges 12, each having a releasable retaining pin 13. With this training, the possible uses of the furniture during transport are expanded by reducing the bulk and distribution of the transport volume.

Description
The invention relates to a piece of furniture with several cushions of the same width, which can optionally be strung together as a couch or folded as seating and whose total length is equal to the length of the couch, in which the floor cushion part is connected by a hinge to the congruent seat cushion part lying on it, on which is a back cushion part, the support surface of which differs from the upper surface of the seat cushion part by the seat depth of the seating furniture, the hinge being attached to the rear upper edge of the floor cushion part, which is loosely or firmly arranged on a lower support frame provided with rollers, which is connected to a is composed of an inner and an outer support frame back support part, the inner support frame is hinged at its lower edge in the vertical position with the lower support frame and has support feet for support in the lying position and the outer support frame men is connected in a hinge-like manner on its upper side in the vertical position to the inner support frame.
Such furniture is known from US-A-2 257 754 and US-A-2 562 197. In the subject of the first-mentioned document, the floor cushion part is fixedly arranged on the lower support frame, while the other document lies loosely.
Both pieces of furniture have the disadvantage that they cannot be set up freely in the room or with their backs as room dividers in the apartment because of the sharp protruding back fittings of the folding mechanism and the associated risk of injury. Another disadvantage is that the furniture has a large depth, which is due to the complex folding mechanism. This requires large living spaces. In addition, the mechanism is too complicated and has a large number of hinges or connection points, movable levers and struts, which also includes the entire metal support under the furniture. The high basic structure of the furniture has the further disadvantage that the seat and back upholstery parts, because of their low height, if the seat height is to be selected anatomically correctly, can only be equipped with foam rubber padding or the like, which entails the restriction that insufficient spring force is available for very heavy people. Even in normal apartments, the furniture can only be installed in corners, niches or built-in walls. This arrangement makes it more difficult that the furniture must first be pulled forward to convert it into the lying position and then it can be folded out to the rear.
The invention has for its object to eliminate the disadvantages mentioned.
This object is achieved in that the inner support frame is hinged to the rear lower edge of the lower support frame and the outer support frame to the wall part.
The furniture according to the invention has the advantage that the pull-out mechanism and upholstery parts can be brought into the lying position with a simple handle. In addition, the mechanism is simple and the upholstery parts do not come into contact with the floor.
According to an expedient embodiment of the invention, the lower support frame is releasably connected to the outer support frame by means of holding straps. The straps can in turn be releasably connected to the back cushion part in the lying position.
Furthermore, the back cushion part can have on its backrest surface a wedge-shaped cushion articulated at half a height to a hinge point, which is folded down in the lying position and together with the back cushion part results in a cuboid-shaped cushion with a horizontal lying surface.
According to a further embodiment of the invention, a hinge is provided between the lower support frame and the outer support frame, which has a releasable retaining pivot pin.

It is also possible that the two
In Figure 3 it is shown that the entire pull-out mechanism, which consists of the
Fig. 7 zeigt die entsprechende Transportstellung. In Fig. 4 it is shown that the
