Definitions
- the present invention relates to a disk-shaped program carrier with an axis and with sector-shaped segments which are cut out of a circular ring with a particularly equal width and are arranged in an at least approximately seamless, preferably regular division on the circumference around this axis and which are from a rest position in the mentioned Circular or circumferential surface are adjustable in a cam-like projecting position and in at least one of these positions for the angle-dependent control of a functional group in operative connection with a lever and / or direct action on a component for closing a circuit.
- Program carriers which by means of cam-like projecting segments on their circumference, by being rotated around an axis and thereby using a lever or a component suitable, for example. act electromechanically and can thus be used for a control, whereby they trigger or bring about other processes according to the angular position of the cam-shaped projecting segments and, if they rotate depending on the time, bring about or bring about, have been known for a long time and in practice in the most diverse embodiments known.
- the previous program carriers which were equipped with a fixed or uniquely set program, were later replaced by those in which projecting parts are made effective or ineffective either by rotating a disc part or by screwing on, plugging on or radially or axially displacing them .
- the last-mentioned group also includes an embodiment known per se (according to DT-AS 16 15 0 34), in which circular ring segments which can be displaced in radial grooves and / or openings are arranged between a base plate and a cover plate; Special advantages were achieved in that the setting itself was made easier by an angularly bent edge on the outside, but above all it also fell out when the program was changed and thus got lost, as well as setting positions for the active position or the position clearly defined by locking devices Rest position can be brought about.
- the present invention is therefore based on the object of forming the program carrier according to the type described at the outset from fewer parts than in the prior art, the number of operations for the insertion of the segments also being to be substantially reduced; Furthermore, the task also includes the goal that the setting or changing of the program is made even easier and thus more reliable, that the force for changing the setting of the segments is again considerably less than in the above-mentioned advantageous embodiment of the prior art.
- the disk-shaped program carrier is designed as a circular disk with a hub and, preferably in one piece, radially attached tongues serving as segments with end pieces, each of the tongues having a head on its free end piece, which in the an operative connection position of its associated tongue acts on the lever or the component and in the rest position mentioned with a nose rests under spring tension against a stop that at least one of its surfaces is the same as that of all the others Heads lying against the stop lie together in a circular ring surface and / or in a surface of a rotating body as a scanning surface.
- the advantage is already achieved that a substantial part of the production costs are saved because the program carrier not only has to be composed of fewer parts, but also the relatively large number of parts serving as sector-shaped segments no longer have to be used individually.
- the production is made even cheaper, particularly in that the program carrier preferably contains two mutually complementary disks, on the hubs of which the tongues are attached with gaps uniformly distributed over the circumference, the width of which is equal to the width of the tongues of another disc (s) plus an air gap, and the discs are connected so that they are offset from one another in such a way that the tongues of one disc fall into the gaps between the tongues of the other disc (s) and fill them up to the mentioned air gap.
- the advantages according to the features described so far are further increased in that the tongues of one disk are attached to the upper edge of the hub and those of the other are attached to the lower edge of the hub of the latter and / or the one Hub is plugged on the other as a ring hub on an annular shoulder and / or the lugs with their stop edges are in the rest position of the tongues in the surface of the stop edge and / or the circular ring surface is at a right angle to the axis and / or the surface of the rotating body is a cylindrical outer surface and / or the program carrier has an additional circular stop ring and / or an additional nose on the head for the forced adjustment of the projection position of the head.
- a further simplification of the production is further brought about by the fact that above the disk or the disks complementary to one another, ie. in the direction of the spring preload of the tongues with this disk (s) a stop disk is connected to an edge surface against which the tongue heads rest at the desired height and which intersects the rotary body or cylinder surface of the tongue heads at an acute cone angle, so that a cone jacket of such surface inclination forms that the head lies against it in its intended position, and has a diameter that is smaller than the inner diameter of the rotating body or cylinder formed by the inner surfaces of the tongue heads in their rest position in the height of the base line of the lugs.
- the base diameter of the conical surface of the stop washer is at least approximately equal to the inner diameter of the entirety of all tongue heads or, in an alternative embodiment, the conical surface of the stop washer has the larger diameter on the side opposite the support surface and / or in both alternative cases the lugs are preferably arranged in one piece as prisms arranged parallel to a circumference on the inner surface of the tongue heads and rest with their lower surface on the upper edge surface of the stop disk.
- a rotationally symmetrical pot is connected to this or these washer (s), the outer surface of which is the washer.
- the height of the lugs on the tongue heads has a diameter which is greater than that of the rotating body or cylinder formed by the outer surface of the tongue heads in their rest position in the height of the foot lines of the lugs, and one protrudes inwards contains the nose ring, and that the lugs are preferably attached in one piece as prisms arranged on the outer surface of the tongue heads parallel to a circumference and rest with their upper edge surface on the lower surface of the nose ring.
- a circumferential surface is arranged in a rotationally symmetrical manner with a gap distance around the disk or the mutually complementary disks, which has a diameter at the height of the lugs on the tongue heads that is larger than that through the outer surface the tongue heads formed in their rest position rotational body or cylinder at the level of the foot lines of the lugs, and contains an inwardly projecting nose ring, and that the lugs are preferably attached in one piece as prisms arranged on the outer surface of the tongue heads parallel to a circumference and with their upper edge surface rest on the lower surface of the nose ring.
- the tongues with their heads in their starting position before the assembly of the Program carrier form at least approximately a truncated cone surface, the imaginary tip of which lies above or below the preferably flat resting ring surfaces.
- the advantages of the program carrier according to the invention or the progress of the technology conveyed thereby can be carried by a type of use, when the lever and / or the component is operatively connected to the upper or lower annular surface and / or the inner one Shell surface and / or the outer shell surface is applied.
- the program control device shown in FIG. 1 as a possible application example for the invention described above with a program carrier 1, which rotates as a function of time, contains a reduction gear 5 mounted in the housing 2 on two intermediate boards 3, 4 between the one serving as the drive Synchronous motor 6 and the shaft end piece 7 with the axis 8, on which the program carrier 1 is non-positively placed.
- the hollow shaft 9 (not shown) for the pointer combination 10 with minutes 11 and hour hands 12 are also continuously guided in the hollow shaft 9 through their shaft end piece 7.
- the mounting plate 15 for the electrical input and output connections not shown, for example. for the synchronous motor 6, other built-in parts, etc. attached.
- this mounting plate 15 or the spacer 13 can serve as a carrier plate, which is stationary, for example. is mounted in a switch box, not shown, and on which the other parts are fixed or pluggable.
- the stop disk 16 is provided with a scale 17 for the time of day display in conjunction with the pointer combination 10.
- angle values are then marked analogously on this scale; Instead of a synchronous motor, a direct mechanical transmission means is consequently connected to the program carrier or the reduction gear.
- 2 shows the exemplary embodiment of the program carrier 1, as it can be used in the application example of FIG. 1, in its individual parts (a to c) and assembled (d).
- 2D shows how the two mutually complementary disks 21 and 22 with the hubs 23, 24 and the tongues 25, 26 are connected to one another and connected to the stop disk 27.
- the discs are shown cut so that the tabs 25, are not cut 26 with the heads 28, 29 at the free end pieces 3 0, 31, because the cutting line is drawn through the air gap between the tabs which are adjacent alongside one another and axially opposite lie.
- the tongue 25, which is attached to the upper edge 32 of the hub 23, is shown in a position in which the end face 33 of the nose 37 abuts the inner surface of the head 28 on the lower edge 34 of the stop disk, so that the tongue 25 is facing downward is biased rather strongly.
- the tongue 26, but attached to the lower edge 35 of the hub 24, is resiliently biased by its head 29 with the stop edge 36 of the nose 37 resting against the edge surface 38 of the stop disc 27 because the Edge surface 38 forms a conical section surface of such a surface inclination that it cuts the (inner) surface of the rotating body at an acute cone ring angle.
- the diameter of the edge surface 38 is smaller as the inner diameter of the circle formed by the inner surface 39, the tongue head 29 in its rest position and at the height of the foot line 40 of the nose.
- the position of the tongue 25 can be used as a projection position (downward) and the position of the tongue 26 as a rest position and vice versa.
- the tongues of this disk with their heads in their initial rest position - before assembly - form at least approximately a truncated cone surface 52, the imaginary tip 53 (shown shortened) above the flat rest -Circular ring surfaces 54, 55.
- the other (22 in FIG. 2D) of the two mutually complementary disks with the hub 24, 'The tongue 26 attached to it and the head 29 carried by its free end piece 31 have the same design as that which shows one of the two mutually complementary disks in FIG. 2b.
- the starting position of the tongues 26 is steeper and thus a less pointed truncated cone with the outer surface 56 and the rest circular surfaces 57 and 58, and the imaginary tip 59.
- the head 29 can now be pressed when setting the program, whereby it initially tilts outwards so that the nose 37 can slide past the bottom edge surface 64 (FIG. 2a) of the stop disc 27 until the Nose (case of 33 in the left half) engages below this lower edge surface 64. All heads that have been pressed into this locking position then form one upper 65 and a lower 65a circular surface, which is at a right angle to the axis 66. In this position the heads 28 are facing down, the others are facing up. Depending on whether the lever or the component is attached above or below, one or the other layer serves as an operative connection layer.
- a relatively weak force e.g. a forefinger without any tools
- such a lever 71 is below the program carrier 1, ie. arranged between him and the front plate 14 on the shaft 72, which is mounted in the front plate 14 and the intermediate board 4 and carries a cam disk 73, from which the switch 74 or a similar component is actuated; in the adjacent drawing, the cam disk 73 is pivoted so that the pin 75 of the switch 73 is not acted upon.
- the functional, actual operative connection with the lever 71 is the mechanically active position of the head 76 which is pressed down, but the switch 74 is in its rest position, which, however (if it is a normally closed switch or a changeover switch) is also again can be a real cause.
- the lever 71 is under a spring preload so that it rests non-positively on the stop pin 77 in its rest position and is lifted when it is acted upon by the heads (76) pressed down.
- FIG. 3 shows a plan view of the program carrier (1 in FIG. 1) with the stop disk (16) shown partially broken away, in part a) for a one-piece disk with tongues and in part b) for a combination composed of two mutually complementary discs with tongues.
- Fig.3a to the hub 1 0 1 the tongues lo2 to 1 0 5 with the head fen 106 to lo9 attached, as shown by the section of Fig.
- the tongue 1 0 5 is covered by the stop disk 11o, but its head 109 is fully visible because it projects beyond the stop disk with its nose 111; the outer edge 112 of the stop disc 11o is shown in dashed lines because it is covered by the nose 111 of the head 109.
- the heads 113 and 114 are in an upwardly protruding position, while the heads 115 to 117 are engaged with their associated lugs below the lower edge 112 of the stop disk 11o.
- the holes 118 in the hub 1 0 1 and 119 in the stop disc 11o serve for attachment to the shaft end piece (7 in Fig.1).
- the slots 12o between the tongues are designed to be as narrow as the manufacturing possibilities allow and, if possible, should only form an air gap so that the peripheral surface (62 in FIG. 2b) or the upper or lower annular surfaces (65, 65a in FIG. 2b) ) seamless surfaces for the lever (71 in Fig. 1) or the like. form.
- FIGS. 4 a to 4 d differs from the latter primarily in that instead of a stop disc with a beveled edge surface, a stop plug 161 (cf. also FIG. 4 c) also points inwards protruding nose rings 162, 163, and the heads 164, 165 are also equipped with prisms, but on the outer surface but with noses 166 and 167 and an additional stop nose 168 and 169, respectively.
- a stop plug 161 cf. also FIG. 4 c
- the heads 164, 165 are also equipped with prisms, but on the outer surface but with noses 166 and 167 and an additional stop nose 168 and 169, respectively.
- the tongues 174 and 1-75 attached to their hub 17o and 171 on the lower 172 and upper 173 edge surfaces with the heads 176 and 177 are in their initial rest position in the same way before assembly according to a truncated cone -Mantle surface 178 and 179 and, their imaginary tip 18o, or 181, the flat circular surfaces 182 and 183, etc. formed and have the corresponding functions or features in the assembled state, as in the case of the alternative described in detail in connection are described with Fig.2a to 2d.
- Both program carriers according to the exemplary embodiment in FIGS. 2a to 2d and in accordance with that in FIGS. 4a to 4d can be controlled in any manner known per se from the prior art with the same drive or with different rotation times or ratios combine delivering machine part in any way, namely with a scan of both the circumferential cylinder surface inside or outside and / or the upper and / or the lower circular ring surface. In each of these cases there are circular ring sections with protruding and recessed heads according to the set program - either radial or axial. Further additional equipment or uses which are also known per se can be readily derived from FIG. 1 on the basis of the prior art.
Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a disk-shaped program carrier with an axis and with sector-shaped segments which are cut out of a circular ring with a particularly equal width and are arranged in an at least approximately seamless, preferably regular division on the circumference around this axis and which are from a rest position in the mentioned Circular or circumferential surface are adjustable in a cam-like projecting position and in at least one of these positions for the angle-dependent control of a functional group in operative connection with a lever and / or direct action on a component for closing a circuit.
Program carriers, which by means of cam-like projecting segments on their circumference, by being rotated around an axis and thereby using a lever or a component suitable, for example. act electromechanically and can thus be used for a control, whereby they trigger or bring about other processes according to the angular position of the cam-shaped projecting segments and, if they rotate depending on the time, bring about or bring about, have been known for a long time and in practice in the most diverse embodiments known. The previous program carriers, which were equipped with a fixed or uniquely set program, were later replaced by those in which projecting parts are made effective or ineffective either by rotating a disc part or by screwing on, plugging on or radially or axially displacing them . The last-mentioned group also includes an embodiment known per se (according to DT-AS 16 15 0 34), in which circular ring segments which can be displaced in radial grooves and / or openings are arranged between a base plate and a cover plate; Special advantages were achieved in that the setting itself was made easier by an angularly bent edge on the outside, but above all it also fell out when the program was changed and thus got lost, as well as setting positions for the active position or the position clearly defined by locking devices Rest position can be brought about.
Even in the last described embodiment, which has proven itself very well in practice for many years, there is a deficiency in the fact that the program carrier is made up of a larger number of parts must be set, and above all quite a few segments - according to the number of control levels on the circumference - must be inserted into the grooves or openings of the disc. The locking means also cause a force, albeit not great, to be used to adjust the segments, so much force that some technically untrained operators do not dare to overcome this obstacle.
The present invention is therefore based on the object of forming the program carrier according to the type described at the outset from fewer parts than in the prior art, the number of operations for the insertion of the segments also being to be substantially reduced; Furthermore, the task also includes the goal that the setting or changing of the program is made even easier and thus more reliable, that the force for changing the setting of the segments is again considerably less than in the above-mentioned advantageous embodiment of the prior art.
This object is achieved according to the invention in that the disk-shaped program carrier is designed as a circular disk with a hub and, preferably in one piece, radially attached tongues serving as segments with end pieces, each of the tongues having a head on its free end piece, which in the an operative connection position of its associated tongue acts on the lever or the component and in the rest position mentioned with a nose rests under spring tension against a stop that at least one of its surfaces is the same as that of all the others Heads lying against the stop lie together in a circular ring surface and / or in a surface of a rotating body as a scanning surface.
The advantage is already achieved that a substantial part of the production costs are saved because the program carrier not only has to be composed of fewer parts, but also the relatively large number of parts serving as sector-shaped segments no longer have to be used individually. With such a design, the production is made even cheaper, particularly in that the program carrier preferably contains two mutually complementary disks, on the hubs of which the tongues are attached with gaps uniformly distributed over the circumference, the width of which is equal to the width of the tongues of another disc (s) plus an air gap, and the discs are connected so that they are offset from one another in such a way that the tongues of one disc fall into the gaps between the tongues of the other disc (s) and fill them up to the mentioned air gap.
In the case of the composition of the program carrier from two disks, the advantages according to the features described so far are further increased in that the tongues of one disk are attached to the upper edge of the hub and those of the other are attached to the lower edge of the hub of the latter and / or the one Hub is plugged on the other as a ring hub on an annular shoulder and / or the lugs with their stop edges are in the rest position of the tongues in the surface of the stop edge and / or the circular ring surface is at a right angle to the axis and / or the surface of the rotating body is a cylindrical outer surface and / or the program carrier has an additional circular stop ring and / or an additional nose on the head for the forced adjustment of the projection position of the head.
These peculiarities alone, but combined to a particular degree, mean that the tongues serving as segments are forced, ie. without any special adjustment measures and thus without any special effort, just by assembling the necessary exactness of your target position. By the way, these measures have a particular advantage in that the lugs act as locking means, the holding force of which can be quite large, whereas the force for the adjustment of the segment only has to be sufficient for the nose to slide off at its stop, that is to say it is extremely small can; Technically untrained operators in particular perceive this as a significant relief and thus also as an increase in the reliability of the setting.
According to the invention, a further simplification of the production is further brought about by the fact that above the disk or the disks complementary to one another, ie. in the direction of the spring preload of the tongues with this disk (s) a stop disk is connected to an edge surface against which the tongue heads rest at the desired height and which intersects the rotary body or cylinder surface of the tongue heads at an acute cone angle, so that a cone jacket of such surface inclination forms that the head lies against it in its intended position, and has a diameter that is smaller than the inner diameter of the rotating body or cylinder formed by the inner surfaces of the tongue heads in their rest position in the height of the base line of the lugs.
In the sense of an additional improvement, it is advantageous if the base diameter of the conical surface of the stop washer is at least approximately equal to the inner diameter of the entirety of all tongue heads or, in an alternative embodiment, the conical surface of the stop washer has the larger diameter on the side opposite the support surface and / or in both alternative cases the lugs are preferably arranged in one piece as prisms arranged parallel to a circumference on the inner surface of the tongue heads and rest with their lower surface on the upper edge surface of the stop disk. These special features also increase - in addition - the technical progress conveyed by the invention, in that the aforementioned forced adjustment is brought about in an even more expedient manner.
In an alternative to the last-described special embodiment of the program carrier according to the invention, below the disk or the mutually complementary disks, ie. opposite to the direction of the spring preload of the tongues, a rotationally symmetrical pot is connected to this or these washer (s), the outer surface of which is the washer. dominated, in the height of the lugs on the tongue heads has a diameter which is greater than that of the rotating body or cylinder formed by the outer surface of the tongue heads in their rest position in the height of the foot lines of the lugs, and one protrudes inwards contains the nose ring, and that the lugs are preferably attached in one piece as prisms arranged on the outer surface of the tongue heads parallel to a circumference and rest with their upper edge surface on the lower surface of the nose ring.
Another alternative differs from this in that a circumferential surface is arranged in a rotationally symmetrical manner with a gap distance around the disk or the mutually complementary disks, which has a diameter at the height of the lugs on the tongue heads that is larger than that through the outer surface the tongue heads formed in their rest position rotational body or cylinder at the level of the foot lines of the lugs, and contains an inwardly projecting nose ring, and that the lugs are preferably attached in one piece as prisms arranged on the outer surface of the tongue heads parallel to a circumference and with their upper edge surface rest on the lower surface of the nose ring.
These two last-described alternatives serve to expand the scope of the present invention by, in certain practical cases, conveying other options for adapting to the structural constraints given there.
In view of the already explained simplification of the assembly, in order that the target positions of the tongues serving as segments are positively adjusted with sufficient certainty, it is advantageous in a further embodiment of the invention that the tongues with their heads in their starting position before the assembly of the Program carrier form at least approximately a truncated cone surface, the imaginary tip of which lies above or below the preferably flat resting ring surfaces. To an even greater extent, the advantages of the program carrier according to the invention or the progress of the technology conveyed thereby can be carried by a type of use, when the lever and / or the component is operatively connected to the upper or lower annular surface and / or the inner one Shell surface and / or the outer shell surface is applied.
In a completely different way, the above-described advantageous possibilities are used to a particular degree if a program carrier of the described novel design with an additional program carrier on the same axis, preferably with a smaller outer diameter of the disk (s) and an additional inner hollow shaft for the mounting of the second operative connection element is combined, the lever and / or the component for the first program carrier from the outer circumferential surface and / or the lower circular surface and / or the upper circular surface on the one hand and the lever and / or the component for the second program carrier from the inner circumferential surface and / or the outer surface and / or the upper circular surface is acted on the other.
Finally, it should also be emphasized that a further simplification of the manufacture of the disk-shaped program carrier in question can be achieved in any combination of the above-described peculiarities of the invention or an optimal evaluation of the possibilities of technical progress based therein that the hub and / or the tongues and / or the heads and / or the lugs are formed in one piece from a thermoplastic material.

The program control device shown in FIG. 1 as a possible application example for the invention described above with a program carrier 1, which rotates as a function of time, contains a
On the
Die Scheiben sind so geschnitten dargestellt, daß die Zungen 25, 26 mit den Köpfen 28, 29 an den freien Endstücken 30, 31 nicht geschnitten werden, weil die Schnittlinie durch den Luftspalt zwischen den Zungen gezogen ist, die benachbart nebeneinander bzw. axial gegenüber liegen.2 shows the exemplary embodiment of the program carrier 1, as it can be used in the application example of FIG. 1, in its individual parts (a to c) and assembled (d). 2D shows how the two mutually
The
In Figure 2a the stop disc (27 in Figure 2d) is shown alone; apart from the dashed bore 51 for a firm fit on the shaft end piece (7 in FIG. 1), only the
In Fig.2b the upper (21 in Fig.2d) of the two mutually complementary discs with the
In principle, the other (22 in FIG. 2D) of the two mutually complementary disks with the
From the difference in the shapes of the
By a relatively weak force, e.g. a forefinger without any tools, the
In Figure 1, such a
Further details of the exemplary embodiment will be explained below with reference to FIG. 3, which shows a plan view of the program carrier (1 in FIG. 1) with the stop disk (16) shown partially broken away, in part a) for a one-piece disk with tongues and in part b) for a combination composed of two mutually complementary discs with tongues. In Fig.3a to the hub 1 0 1 the tongues lo2 to 1 0 5 with the
In Figure 3b belonging to the one of the two complementary discs, the
The variant of the program carrier according to FIGS. 2a to 2d shown in FIGS. 4 a to 4 d differs from the latter primarily in that instead of a stop disc with a beveled edge surface, a stop plug 161 (cf. also FIG. 4 c) also points inwards protruding
It should also be mentioned that here, ie. in the variant of Figures 4a to 4d, the connection of the two mutually complementary discs with hubs with
Both program carriers according to the exemplary embodiment in FIGS.
