Description

The invention relates to a security fence for enclosing particularly endangered objects, such as nuclear power plants or other systems to be secured in a special way, which consists of a wire mesh and an insulated resistance wire, the wire mesh between - preferably provided with Y-booms - bracing posts on the outside is, and wherein an electrical alarm device is triggered by the resistance wire if the resistance wire is damaged or severed, with barbed wire optionally additionally tensioned between the individual arms of adjacent posts to secure against climbing over the fence system.

It is known to use a braided wire provided with a plastic sheath for such security fences, the sheath of which surrounds the resistance wire or monitoring conductor. In an older proposal, the monitoring conductor, which is insulated from the preferably galvanized wire of the actual braid, lies against the circumference of the braided wire and both wires are surrounded by a common plastic sheath. In order to prevent unauthorized persons from opening the monitoring conductor out of the sheathing by slitting the jacket and trying to switch off the electrical alarm device by applying clamps and bridges, which would respond if the monitoring conductor were severed together with the braid wire, it is known that To provide braid wire on its circumference with a recess running in the longitudinal direction of the wire, in which the monitoring conductor is arranged. Difficulties have arisen in the manufacture of such wires, so that it has not yet been possible to design a security fence which is provided with a resistance wire for triggering an alarm device in such a way that penetration into the fenced-in area is not possible without triggering the alarm device . This object is the basis of the invention.

Starting from a security fence of the type described in the introduction, the invention consists in that the electrical resistance wire in the form of a network is clamped on the one hand between the fence posts on the inside thereof parallel to the wire mesh, its lower end being let in a bit in the ground, while the upper end End is attached to a wire rope serving as a tension wire and that, on the other hand, a second network is tensioned between the tension wire and another wire rope, which is attached to the upper end of other posts that are lower than the fence posts for the wire mesh and parallel to them in one A distance is set up that does not make it possible to jump over the fence, so that the net is attached to the two wire cables with a resistance wire whose tensile strength is lower than that of the wire from which the net is made and which represents a predetermined breaking point when the net with a certain mm weight is loaded.

The invention goes a different way in that the resistance wire is not arranged within the plastic sheath of the braid wire, as was previously the case, but that it is tensioned as a separate network on the one hand parallel to the braid wire and on the other hand inward in a width that a Skipping no longer possible. Such protection has the advantage that it can be retrofitted to any existing fence system and also avoids the difficulties that were associated with the attachment of the resistance wire within the plastic sheath of the braid wire.

The invention provides that the lower fence posts are placed at a distance of about 5 m from the fence posts to which the braid wire is attached, the lower fence posts have a height of about 1 m, so that the area under the net to Execution of work, such as Cutting grass or removing leaves or snow is accessible.

According to a further feature of the invention, the two networks consist of a resistance wire, which is provided with a shield made of a metal braid, as is customary for antenna cables, for example, and a plastic sheathing arranged above it. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the nets consist of longitudinal and transverse wires crossing at right angles, the plastic sheaths of which are welded to one another at the crossing points.

In the drawing, an embodiment of the invention is shown. Show it:
  • FIG. 1 shows a schematic side view of a security fence,
  • Figure 2 is a plan view of a portion of a security fence and
  • 3 shows a section through a mesh of one of the networks consisting of the resistance wire.

As can be seen from FIGS. 1 and 2, the fence system consists of a row of posts 1 with so-called Y-arms 2 and a row of lower posts 3 which are provided with an eyebolt at their upper end. On the outer side of the fence post (relative to the system to be protected) is a Wire mesh 4 braced, which advantageously consists of a braid provided with a plastic sheath. Barbed wire 5 is drawn in the usual way between the jibs of adjacent posts in order to secure against climbing over the fence system. Posts 1 and 3 are anchored in the usual manner in concrete foundations 6; the longer posts can be, for example, 2.50 m high, the smaller posts can be about 1 m high.

On the inside of the posts 1 immediately below the inwardly extending outrigger, a wire rope 7 serving as a tension wire is attached. Another wire rope 8, also serving as tension wire, is pulled through the eyebolts attached to the upper end of the posts 3.

The network 9 consisting of the resistance wire is tensioned parallel to the wire mesh 4 on the inside of the posts 1, being fastened to the tension wire 7 at the upper end and the lower end as well as the wire mesh 4 being buried about 30 cm into the ground. The second network 10 is tensioned between the tension wire 7 and the tension wire 8 and thus bridges the approximately 5 m wide strip between the two rows of posts 1 and 3.

The net 10 is fastened to the two tensioning wires with a wire which has a lower tensile strength than the wire from which the nets are made.

The lower tensile strength when using the same resistance wire is obtained, for example, by using a sheath or insulation with lower tensile strength than for the nets. In the area of the tension wire 7, the two nets 9 and 10 are "sewn" with the tension wire by wrapping; the network 10 is fastened to the tensioning wire 8 in the same way.

When the net 10 is loaded by a certain minimum weight, which is determined by the tensile strength of the wires used to fasten the nets, e.g. if a person jumps on the net, this wire breaks and triggers an alarm signal. The same applies if the mesh 9 is interrupted at any point after the wire mesh has been removed.

An den Knotenpunkten sind die Mäntel der Längs- und Querdrähte durch Verschweißen miteinander verbunden.FIG. 3 shows a section through a mesh of one of the nets 9 or 10. The nets consist of longitudinal wires 11 and transverse wires 12, the individual wires of the actual resistance wire 13, a metal braid 14, as is used for example for television cable and a plastic sheath 15 lying above it. At the nodes, the sheaths of the longitudinal and transverse wires are connected to one another by welding.
