Die Transportschnecke wird auf diese Weise vom reinen Transportorgan zu einem sowohl gege-benenfalls rückgebbare als auch bereits einkassierte Münzen aufzunehmenden Speicher. Durch die Ausbildung dieses Speicherorgans in Form einer Schnecke ergibt sich ein hohes Speichervolumen auf kleinstem Raum, da die Münzen unterschiedlicher Wertigkeit lediglich durch die Wendel der Transportschnecke getrennt dicht aneinanderliegen. Da zum Transport der Münzen lediglich ein Drehantrieb der Transportschnecke in der einen Richtung und zum Rückgeben bzw. Der Elektromotor 11 wird beispielsweise durch eine Fotozelle 30 (s. Ist jedoch der für eine bestimmte Ware oder Dienstleistung zu entrichtende Kaufpreis ordnungsgemäß entrichtet worden, wird über eine Schaltung, die nicht Gegenstand der vorliegenden Anmeldung ist, der Antriebsmotor 25 derart eingeschaltet, daß er den Wählhebel 19 in die in Fig. 6 dargestellte Kassierstellang verschwenkt. Durch diese Verschwenkung des Wählhebels 19 gelangen sämtliche Münzen des vorangegangenen Einzahlvorganges auf die andere Seite der Transportschnecke 5, auf der sie an den Führungsstangen 28a und 28b anliegen. Beim nachfolgenden Einzahlen weiterer Münzen für einen folgenden Verkaufsvorgang werden die einkassierten Münzen somit in Richtung auf die Stirnwand 2 transportiert. Vorrichtung zum zeitweisen Speichern von Münzen unterschiedlicher Wertigkeit vor deren Weitergabe in die Speicher eines Kassierautomaten für Warenverkauf oder Dienstleistungen mit einem Münzeinwurfschlitz, dadurch gekennzeichnet , daß dem Einwurfschlitz (12) eine Transportschnecke (5) mit einem Wählhebel (19) nachgeschaltet ist, der aus einer die eingeworfenen Münzen (M) eines Zahlvorganges auf der einen Seite der Transportschnecke (5) festhaltenden Mittelstellung wahlweise in eine die Münzen (M) zur Rückgabe freigebende Rückgabestellung oder in eine die Münzen (M) auf die andere Seite der Transportschnecke (5) überführende Kassierstellung verschwenkbar ist, von der die Münzen (M) in nachgeschaltete Speicherschächte gelangen.1.
