Abstract

Esta invención se refiere a un proceso novedoso para preparar HALUROS DE ACIDO O-(3-AMINO-2-HIDROXI-PROPIL)-HIDROXIMICO de fórmula (I) por medio de la reacción de una oxima de carboxamida de fórmula (II), en la cual R1 tiene los valores indicados con un derivado de 3-amino-2-hidroxi-propano reactivo; diazotizar la oxima de carboxamida sustituida en O resultante con nitrito de sodio en presencia de haluro de hidrógeno; descomponer la sal de diazonio, aislar el producto obtenido y, si fuera conveniente, separar los enantiómeros ópticamente activos y/o hacer reaccionar la base resultante con un ácido mineral u orgánico. El proceso comprende hacer reaccionar oxima de carboxamida de fórmula (II) con una sal de 3-hidroxi acetidinio de fórmula (III), en la que R2 y R3 tiene los valores indicados precedentemente, e Y es una sal que forma un anión en un medio alcohólico inferior, preferentemente etanólico, alcalizado mediante un hidróxido alcalino, y antes de diazotizar el producto intermedio de oxima de carboxamida sustituída en O obtenido, la mezcla de la reacción es neutralizada y se elimina el solvente orgánico.
