La invención se refiere a una composición acuosa que comprende un complejo polielectrolítico, un fungicida de ditiocarbamato, un portador acuoso y un aditivo aceptable para uso agrícola. La invención se refiere además a un método para producir la composición acuosa según la invención y al uso de dicha composición. La invención también se refiere a un método para proteger una planta y a un método para evitar, reducir y/o eliminar la presencia de un patógeno en una planta, poniendo dicha planta en contacto con una composición de la invención.
