The system includes one or more floating aquaculture feeding systems, each of which includes a plurality of flotation devices. Each aquaculture feeding system is configured to dispense food into the aquatic farming resource and to modify its positioning in the aquatic farming resource in response to signaling from a management console. The management console is configured to transmit management signals to the floating aquaculture feeding system to control movement of the aquaculture feeding system, where such movement may include disturbance of its feeding area including during a current feeding event, return to shore for replenishment of food or maintenance, or general repositioning in the aquaculture resource.
