Abstract

Un sistema (10) para precalentar materiales en lote en un horno de fundición de vidrio (12) incluye un precalentador (16) que tiene una salida (84) a través de la cual el fluido es expulsado y una entrada (82) que recibe fluidos expulsados del horno y recirculados de la salida del precalentador; en una modalidad, un separador ciclónico (20) tiene una entrada (92) en comunicación con la salida del precalentador y una salida (96) en comunicación de fluido con un ventilador (30); un controlador (70) controla la velocidad del ventilador en respuesta a una caída en la presión entre la entrada y la salida del separador y una temperatura en la salida del separador; en otras modalidades, los controladores (76, 77) controlan las válvulas (34, 40, 44) que (i) controlan la cantidad de fluidos expulsados del precalentador que son entregados a un tiro de chimenea (100) y recirculados al precalentador o (ii) controlan la cantidad de fluidos desviados al cargador (18) para el horno, en respuesta a temperaturas en un tubo acoplado a la entrada del precalentador.
