Abstract

Un criógeno líquido tal como nitrógeno líquido o dióxido de carbono líquido se bombea mediante una bomba de alta presión hacia un vaporizador donde el líquido se convierte en gas. El gas de alta presión se enfría mediante un intercambiador de refrigerante y puede introducirse en una operación de la unidad en el sitio tal como una operación de recuperación mejorada de petróleo. El intercambiador de refrigerante está en una relación de intercambio térmico con un motor de combustión que le proporcionar energía a una bomba hidráulica que introduce fluido hidráulico para hacer funcionar la bomba de alta presión.
