Abstract
El sistema de comunicación móvil abarca una red y por lo menos una estación móvil, un método para seleccionar un formato de transporte de combinación TFC a ser utilizado para comunicación desde la estación móvil hasta la red, sobre un canal de calidad variable. El método abarca los pasos de: (en la red) calcular el requerimiento de calidad del canal por el uso efectivo de cada combinación de formato de transporte; indicar las combinaciones de formato de transporte y los requisitos de calidad del canal a la estación móvil; calcular la calidad existente del canal; e indicar la calidad existente del canal a la estación móvil. El método futuro abarca (en la estación móvil) la recepción de indicación de la calidad existente del canal; y la selección de una de las combinaciones de formato de transporte teniendo un requerimiento de calidad del canal no mayor que la calidad del canal existente.
