Abstract

El virus del síndrome de mancha (WSSV) es un virus que afecta tanto a camarones como a otros crustáceos y la epidemia (WSSV) es una amenaza seria para la industria del cultivo de camarón. La presente invención se relaciona con composiciones y métodos para inducir tolerancia y/o inmunidad a infecciones del Virus del síndrome de Mancha Blanca. En una divulgación, la invención provee una composición de tolerina basada en partículas virales inactivas. En otra divulgación, la invención provee un método para inducir tolerancia/inmunidad en el camarón por medio de la exposición de larvas de camarón a una composición de tolerina. En otra divulgación, la invención provee composiciones de tolerina con pureza mejorada.
